It is hard enough to be a small business, even harder to sell products that has a select market. Jeff, is an awesome business owner, and yes if you are looking for price only, you can get better deals elsewhere. Jeff is honest, and knows his musical instruments. His guitar work is spot on, and he beats anyones repair prices. If you need a guitar set up, or strings changed, or an assessment of an instrument, go to J&L.

Jeff is a great guy, and wont sell you stuff you dont need. Yes, your big box stores will likely have a better price (not enough to warrant a 40+ minute drive to Columbus in my opinion), but youre getting a home town shop with an owner who cares about his business and his customers. His guitar set ups are great, has a good selection for the size of the store he has, and Jeff will always greet you with a smile. Hes earned my business 10 times over, thanks Jeff!

I bought new strings for a floating bridge guitar there. He did a professional job installing and tuning them in a timely fashion and the price was very reasonable too. While I was waiting I tried out some guitars from their selection which were really nice and affordable. Highly recommended.

Wasnt even open durring the hours they posted they would be open. Must be ran by lazy people. Plus you can find better prices and better selection elsewhere anyway. I just needed strings and an amp. But I guess they dont need customers since they close before they are scheduled to.

Its awesome the teachers for the lessons are really nice and they make you feel welcome and its not that expensive so I recommend it
