Update : after my post I was surprised when Taylor reached out. I was surprised that in less than two days Taylor was able to make everything right. My faith in Judd and Black was restored. Thank you TaylorIn November I was shopping around for new appliances in the kitchen, I stopped by Judd and Black. Was informed that I would receive my appliances by the 25th of November. I received the refrigerator, as they were bringing in the stove, they ran into the side of the house and busted the stove. They said that they had to take it back, I was left with no stove, microwave,or dishwasher.I had everything for Thanksgiving dinner but no way to cook it. With the virus going on there was no where to have dinner and unable to go anywhere. In the first part of December I finally received my microwave but it sat in the middle of the dining. .Christmas came and still no stove, microwave still sitting in the middle of the living room. In April I finally have a completed kitchen and the rebate (600.) that I was going to receive, it was to late. Well in April I finally have a complete kitchen, it only took five months. They even said don’t buy from the big box stores, you won’t get your appliances and yet my girlfriend receive hers ad I had the worst five months of my life. There is so much more to this story but it is just so upsetting to think about.

Purchased a stove that took months to arrive, when it did arrive it had scratches. They ordered parts to repair it but for five months keep saying they dont have the parts. Poor communication, would not recommend them for any repair jobs for sure.

Disliked the over all atmosphere of the store. They were busy with only one salesman on the floor. We finally got the opportunity to speak with the salesman. It was kinda like buying a used car in that we had to negotiate the price down to come only close to reasonable. We left the store for a couple of hours and went back in. This time we were the only customers in the store. Shortly after, more customers came in and the salesman began helping other customers before being finished with us, which was very irritating. When I asked why he was the only sales person in the store, he said this is how I make my living! Obviously he is commission only. None the less, the customer service suffered. We spent far more time in the store than was necessary. We bought 3 large appliances. They charged us an additional $20 for the dishwasher hose. The price we paid for it should have included that, as after all you cant run the dishwasher without it. They also charged us a delivery and hook up fee. We felt this was unreasonable for the large amount of money we spent! He was not willing to wave that fee. We live 3 minutes from the store. And they were only hooking up the frige/freezer. The other 2 appliances they plan to leave in our garage. We will need to move in and install the gas stove and dishwasher our selves. We felt they nickel and dimed us to death on top of already making a boat load of money off of us on the appliances. This left us with a nasty tastein our mouth.Update: After posting my review, I was contacted by Judd & Black to see what they could do to make things right. I appreciate their concern and sincerity, and they offered me compensation. This says a lot about a business that cares to take the time and follows up with their customers.
They have good appliances. I dont regret my purchase. When I bought washer and dryer, I was told I would need a new dryer vent. When the delivery guy came, he said wow yours is nice, better than the one we carry, so Ill tell them to refund you. He took theirdryer vent back. A few days went by and I heard nothing back. I emailed 2 different sales associates over the period of 2 months asking when I would get my refund. I believe it was almost $40 they owed me. At the end of the day $40 isnt that much... but the point is that they charged me for an item that I didnt need nor even use, didnt respond to several of my emails, or anything.Its been over 6 months and I have yet to receive my refund for the item that wasnt even used. I might of fallen through the cracks..... and it might be an honest mistake. But since my husband works hard for me and our 4 kids, this was hard earned money for nothing.
I stopped in January 10, 2020 just to look and to inquire on the Frigidaire gallery induction range with convection and air fry. Chris Foss was the salesperson that helped me. He explained that that model was on back order and not in store. So I asked to see the counter depth refrigerator. That was not on the floor either. However, he did show me the professional model which was similar. And he showed me on his computer the products I was interested in. Chris answered all of my questions. He was polite, professional and easy to speak with. He even put up with my poodle! Since I was going to replace my appliances anyway as they were old and white and I wanted the stainless steel and gallery product, I went ahead and purchased especially since they were having a sale. The only product I differed from was the dishwasher, I preferred the Bosch. Chris has called me throughout the process on getting the products, scheduling for install dates as products arrive. He is an outstanding salesperson with excellent customer service. Thank you Chris, I love my appliances and am just thrilled.
Prices are a little on the high side, but Im always happy to support local business. Sales reps have been there for years and are very knowledgeable. Service is extraordinary.
We have been buying from Judd & Black for many years. Always been happy with their service. Their prices were better than the big box stores.
Bought a washer and dryer from Judd and black in November. In the middle of June the dryer stopped working. Called to get it serviced and told the service people that they would need to come after 3 so my husband would be home from work. They said no problem and that they would leave a note for the repair guy. Repair guy shows up at 9:30 am... tells my husband that there was no note and he doesn’t schedule things after 2. So I have to leave work 5 hours early to meet the guy at 2:00. He didn’t have the right part, whatever it happens. We reschedule after the part comes in and tell them that they have to show up early enough that I can leave for an appointment at 1:00 and I would take off the morning from work to meet him. Again they say they will leave a note for repair guy. Well guess what happens, there was no note! The repair guy called every other job for that day before me leaving me with the 12:30 to 2:00 slot. These people are the absolute worst at customer service. All they had to do was leave a note for the repair guy... easy thing to do. The repair guy when he did show was great. I feel bad that the others set him up for failure by not leaving a note. He circled the paperwork where the notes are suppose to go and all it said was “call with 30 minute lead time”.We will be canceling our full kitchen set we bought on Memorial Day weekend, that still hasn’t arrived. I would hate to have to deal with this again when the other appliances they sold us break after 7 months. I wanted to do business local but I am going to lose my job if I have to keep taking off from work like this. If you are in a situation where one person in the household doesn’t work, then none of this should be a problem for you.Update: the washer did get fixed. Was late for appointment. And the office girl that failed to deliver notes has left me a snarky sounding voicemail. Still giving 1 star.

Disappointed: contacted them to service a dishwasher in a home we just bought. They do not service customers who haven’t bought anything through them. We are new to WA so didn’t have the chance to give them prior business. There is a slight chance our dishwasher needs replaced, but sadly they lost a future customer.

We bought a refrigerator from Judd and Black about four years ago, and the gentleman we bought it from suggested we purchased the extended warranty. I wasnt excited about it, because I have always thought that they were a scam, but he felt so strongly about it, that he offset the price of the fridge to include it. The bottom line was the same, and if he got a kickback from selling the warranty, good on him. Fast forward four years, and what the gentleman said would happen, did happen. J&B came out to fix it at a cost of $0. Without the warranty, the repairman said that I was looking at close to the cost of the fridge itself. Bullet dodged!Today, we were looking at a new washing machine, and I had a great price from Costco. Having just been through a great experience with J & B, I called them up to see if they could come close. I spoke with Taylor and told him what I had at Costco. He said to me that if it was with Home Depot or Lowes, he could knock the service a bit, but that Costco was a class operation. He said he would like to get my business, but understood that Costco had the better price, and could provide great service. He worked the angles a bit to get the price much closer, but said that he understood completely if I wanted to go to Costco to save the money. While I appreciated the discounts, I appreciated the honesty even more. There was no high pressure, no gimmicks, just one guy talking to another with the understanding that money is tight. We did the deal, and I was off the phone in under 20 minutes.The products are all the same no matter where you go, it ultimately comes down to whether or not it seems like somebody cares about your situation. I got that from Taylor. Thanks bud!
I just bought a new washing machine from this store. Taylor Long helped me decide which washer to get. He answered all of my questions and he was very helpful as I made my decision. He recommended a front loader, but I already had my mind made up that I wanted a top loader. He didnt try to talk me into something I didnt want. He just helped me choose the best top loader. Im very happy with my purchase and I will continue to shop there. If youre looking to purchase an appliance I recommend the Marysville Judd & Black.
Wonderful experience all around! We got the run around when we went to Home Depot and thankfully cancelled our order because thats how we ended up at Judd and black. I had never been in the store before but we were desperate for a fridge. I called and Scott helped us out immediately. We had a new fridge and stove within a couple days. My wife and I bought our new washing machine at Judd and Black (where we buy ALL our appliances!) a few weeks ago. The people that work there are so friendly (at all the store locations!) and helpful and patient. We had a great experience. We found exactly what we were looking for at the price we wanted to pay with the help of the friendly and non-pushy sales staff. It was a great experience. A week ago my refrigerator broke on me, called around to get a quote. It was going to beat at least $250 to come take a look at it. I got a quote from Cory and was a lot less than that, and he said that if I needed a new fridge he would apply that maintenance fee towards my new one. A Judd & Black Tech came out and figured out it would cost a lot more to fix then to just get a new one. (9 year old fridge) So I went to their store that same morning and spoke with Taylor. Within a few minutes I had 2 models to choose from based off of what my wife wanted. After a few days to ponder we decided on one and the purchased it, and a few days after that I had it delivered and installed! Josh and his partner had my new fridge delivered and installed right on time and was able to work around my schedule. They had great customer service and was easy to work with. Thank you Cory, Taylor, Service guys and everyone that helped my wife and I with this purchase. We would recommend anyone in need of an appliance to check them out they are very reasonable and not pressure salesman.

I had made the mistake of seeking fridge repair from another local company, big mistake! After a painful experience with no results I reached out to J&B, they are busy and couldnt be here instantly, but they set up appointment within the week, tech Jeff, gave us a call day of service with a time window, he was ACCOUNTABLE, made the window, diagnosed the issue, said he had to order parts and would call when they were in. True to his word, following week parts arrived, received a call with time window for repairs. Again he was ACCOUNTABLE! Folks these guys are busy for a reason, theyre Pros, everything they said they were going to do, they did!! Correct diagnosis of the problem, no surprises, quick clean repair from knowledgeable technician! Thank you Jeff, thank you Judd and Black! My new go to appliance company!!
Well, I thought I would give Judd & Black a try since I had them come out and convert a dryer from natural gas to propane, doing a great job. So, I purchased a new dishwasher for over 1K from their Marysville Washington store, it has been a week and I called to confirm a delivery date, it is a good thing I did because the order did not go through due to a paperwork error. I was initially told it would be an additional 12 days to get the dishwasher delivered. After I talked to the sales guys, I got a call from the GM and he was able to locate one locally and it looks like it will be delivered next week.Update: My dishwasher was delivered within two days after talking with the GM, thanks for the great job.
Great professional service. Lot of useful information to help us decide on the type of washer and dryer best suited for our use. Delivery and set up went well also. Only comment I would make is that we failed to ask or notice which way dryer door opened to. It is wrong direction for best usage, but that was more our mistake.Happy with sales, product, and delivery.
After speaking with the owner and realizing he has great integrity, I will give this place 5 stars! I was not please with a very aggressive sales person there and the owner actually contacted me to apologize and gave me his word that he would address that problem immediately! You dont get service like that anymore, it was an unexpected and pleasant response. I have been back and love their selection on appliances! If the owner had not taken the time to contact me to apologize, I would of never stepped back into one of their stores again. Oh, and NO MORE AGGRESSIVE SALESPEOPLE, they solved that problem! I love helping local businesses grow!!!

They went above and beyond to provide a replacement door that was accidentally broken when I unloaded a new double oven. They service everything they sell - that means a lot to me and it should to everyone else as well.

Just bought a KitchenAid range over the phone because ours finally died after 21 years or use.Spent a few hours having Synaca locate, evaluate and then find shipping times on a few ranges. When we realized these ranges were just two far out on delivery times so we changed our search criteria.After the change, We were still not having much luck and it was getting depressing. After submitting another ‘can you see what the shipping times are this one’ email, Synaca emailed me back and stated that he found one in a box. FINALLY!!!!We then arranged for delivery next week.Support your local businesses during this time. Synaca at J&B and J&B have always been easy to deal with over the phone and very customer oriented.Highly recommend them!
Spent just shy of $5k. Removal and install on multiple appliances. Ended up installing half myself. Delivery guy (or kid) couldnt fit the dryer through the door. Got home and took 30 seconds to get it where it needed to be. Hooked the dryer up and it flashes a light to check the lint trap. Nothing has been in the dryer so no lint. Takes 10 minutes of holding the button before it starts. Next load I clean the lint trap and same damn thing. Theres plenty more to say about the install service but I dont have the time. 2 stars is generous.
Ever since we built our home nearly 3 decades ago, weve purchased nearly all our appliances at Judd & Black. The sales people can give you the best deal you can find anywhere, even internet or big box stores. They are a great hometown company and really work to get your business! To top it off, they have units available on hand, a parts department, and repair services. On a recent visit, no less than 4 staff offered to help me; it wasnt overboard, they were very courteous.
I had great customer service. I changed my mind back and forth twice in two days and Zoe R. rewrote up the paperwork with a smile. and helped me ultimately get the microwave i really wanted. I love it.
These people are all about the customer and you satisfaction. I work with Mike in Marysville helped me get a new dryer and Grill. Gave me the dryer right off the show room floor. With a house of 7 people laundry is always running. Very happy he solved my problem right away. Now I have a new grill for next season. The grill was delivered and the temperature sensor was broke mike gave me all the info on my grill needed to call Weber and have a new one sent to my house. 2 days later I was back in business grilling. Back in August, Our delivery experience was horrible. And cost thousands of dollars in damage. When our new fridge was delivered, the old fridge had a water/ ice dispenser, and the new fridge our landlord ordered did not have a water hookup. The delivery drivers were in a rush and ended up having to borrow my tools because they didnt have theirs. When they saw the water hookup they turned the water off and told my wife not to turn it on. Before they left they pushed the fridge back and didnt say anything to my wife about the water hookup being open still or that the water could not be turned back on. When I got home the water was still off so I turned it on only to hear water gushing from behind the fridge because the water hookup was not capped off. When we contacted Judd & Black, their response was that their delivery people are not licensed plumbers and we were told to not turn the water on. Our entire kitchen floor was destroyed. And we are being held on the hook for the costs since we did not have renters insurance at the time (which was our mistake) and Judd & Black, from what our landlord says, is not willing to take any of the responsibility.I have no problems with JB beyond this experience, but because of it I will most likely never purchase from them.

I was looking for a pair of screws for GE oven igniter. I read online forum and most of people recommend to have these screws on side when replace igniter because old screws most likely would be damaged when remove igniter. I first went to Sears Appliances because I saw their online store carries that particular screws. That was a lady answered my question quickly and said they dont have. I quickly searched Google for other appliance hardware store near by. Lucky I got Judd & Black right across road to Sears. I was greeted by a gentlemen once I walked in the store, and helped me to find parts and service guy called Cole. I explained what I am looking for, and Cole identified my gas range model number. He located my parts quickly from his computer. He grabbed a box of mixed spare screws, then took out exactly two screws for me FOR FREE. He also wrote down screws part number on a card in case I might need more later. What a professional and efficient customer service I have received here today.
I went in to Judd and Black in Marysville just inquiring about a dishwasher replacement. Met Dave Richardson for the first time.He is very knowledgable about his products and a straight shooter. I got a fantastic price on the dishwasher so much so that I also purchased a new Kitchenaid stand mixer, which was also a fantastic price.I installed it myself, just because, and they set me up for the install and it went perfectly.The dishwasher is super quiet and works great.Thanks Dave- Ill be back and have already referred a customer your way. Chris Foss large appliance salesman extrodinaire.We were referred to Chris by our builder representitve.We origonally purchased appliances for three properties from the big box store.Order was screwed by big box store installer who blamed everybody except himself for showing up to the job ilprepared.We cancelled the big box order.Called Chris Foss explained our circumstances. He reviewed our order. Found the same appliances. Ordered them. Set up timely deliveries. Gave us extended warranties all for hundreds less than the aleged great deal at the big box store.This guy did an awesome deal. The best compliment I can pay this guy is to refer him to my friends and family and all the GOOGLERs reading this review!

My wife and I purchased a brand new SAMSUNG refrigerator from Judd and Black only 5 days ago. It comes with a one year manufacturers warranty, so we decided to wait a year before we purchased an extended warranty, since its not necessary to have two warrantys at once. We get home, set up the fridge and it works great for 3 days. Yesterday it started leaking water all over our new homes hard wood floors, so I quickly turned off the water in the rear of the fridge and wiped up the big mess; however, the water damaged our floors. I called SAMSUNG to ask questions about what may have caused the leak and how to keep it from happening again; however, SAMSUNG told me our refrigerator was manufactured in June of 2011and was over a year old, so there was no more warranty. I believed I was purchasing a 2013 SAMSUNG refrigerator from Judd and Black, but Judd and Black pulled a fast one (unethical behavior) on this family man. Im currently waiting for a call from their manager Sean to advise me what my options are. Judd and Black does have their own one year warranty, so now it remains to be seen exactly whats covered with their warranty (my floors better be)... I will post more later to advise everyone how Judd and Black has resolved my issue. Thanks again,
The worst customer service ever. If you need parts, they usually dont have them. And the service department is really rude and obviously not interested in whether or not youre satisfied with their service. I would never shop here again.
