I love my local Joann fabric and the manager and staff are very friendly, I go in there atleast 3x a week😊

Little pricey, but I can usually find what I need there. Sales people are very helpful and nice.

Went to Joann fabrics to find something to put on top of a baby shower cake. The girl ask me what I was looking for I told her something to go on a baby shower cake. It was like she had never heard of a baby shower. Why go to these places and buy a cake when you can make it yourself. I just thought of it as strange but I believe what I believe. Besides that she WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL!! So I had to come up with my own ideas.

Fantastic selection and friendly staff, but exceptionally poor management; the store manager seems to dog her employees over things they cant control, and follows customers around the store as if she just expects them to shoplift or something. It was also *extremely* hot in the store - like over 80 degrees. Its as if they dont even bother to turn the air conditioning on until the store opens - in Virginia, in summer, when its routinely 90+ degrees, that wont get the job done.

I love this store. You can always find something neat and they run good sales. The clerks are friendly and the store is clean and fresh.

I love to make quilts and bracelets and necklaces. I love to paint like the concrete stepping stones and I can get everything done to do all I wanna do

Ok crafts shop. Clean. Lots of variety. Pricier than most places but a larger, harder to find selection. Friendly staff. Easily accessible and very convenient.

Small but usually has what Im looking for, better selection than walmart, the only other option in town. New location is much improved. Staff is always nice and helpful.

Ok I like this place a lot. I have shipped here a bit because its the only craft store in Martinsville VA I usually go to Danville or Greensboro. But I still do come here because of how close it is. Sadly the staff never know where anything is. They are wonderful and caring but never can help me know if something is in stock or where its at or if they even sell it. That frustrates me horribly. Im a customer service representative and you should always know or at least make sure to have someone find out and help the person that way and then youll know for next time. Also I have waited in line for 15 or more mins with Boone in site because they never have enough people working and the cashier is helping customers or stocking and cleaning. Not good. I hate to leave this comment I really do. But its the truth and that what these reviews are about so people know. Hopefully they hire better working people or train better.

Martinsville sadly does not have many options for craft supplies. Its Joanns or Walmart and neither is that great but are better then nothing.Most staff are not knowledgeable or helpful, but 1 at Joanns is very good. Thats Melanie.Id asked others for help and got directed every where but and I dont walk well so very annoying and irritating.
