To say I had a great experience with this dealership would be an understatement. The service I received from these guys has set the bar permanently for me. I could not be happier with how smooth everything has been buying my truck from them. The salesperson Kenny was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy about anything. The sales manager Virgil went out of his way to make sure everything we negotiated was taken care of. Even Chris from their service department who picked up and dropped off the truck to get inspected was wonderful and kind to chat with. I have dealt with both the service and sales departments. Every employee I encountered was friendly, respectful, and professional. The service department went out of their way to help get my car back on the road. when we found out my car could not be repaired, Cliff in sales helped me find the right size car at the price I can afford without any pressure to buy, he even called the day after to see if I was still happy. The finance personnel were wonderful, she had everything ready for signatures, we didnt have to sit around all day waiting for approvals Im so happy Im taking my son to them for his new car.

Took our vehicle there to diagnose a Transmission issue and got quoted $2600-4200 for a rebuilt, reman, or new Trans. Started saving up some cash and decided to get a second opinion. Took to Skaggs Transmission who actually took the time to diagnose the problem and only cost me $52 to fix the problem. Will never waste my time with you again. Horrible service. You are the reason dealerships get a bad wrap and this comes from someone that sold cars for Ford for 25 years.

Great staff very knowledgeable about the vehicles they sell. No high pressure sales will work with you on your down payment as well as do their best to get you financed. Also if the vehicle has not been serviced or checked out by the service department They will make sure that is checked out as a quality car or truck before the vehicle was sold to the customer.

Not sure what to think had new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing,slave cylinder, and master cylinder. Installed. That was 10 weeks ago....came out yesterday to peddle on the floor...they came got car and had it ready in a couple hours said it was air in the system...but no leaks..air after 10 weeks...time will tell i guess. Doesnt make sense to me.

Having lived in many states, this is by far the very best service department with which I have ever dealt!!! They are not only fair but friendly and accommodating. We just purchased a new car here BECAUSE of their service department. And I was pleased with them as well. Granted, I knew what I wanted, but they were not pushy and helped me get a good price.

First I would like to say that the staff are all very helpful, genuine and friendly. I have an suv that Im very grateful for. Today I had to have a very small amount of maintenance and the service and staff were great.The only thing which is very small, i drove from bloomington to the dealer and no one ever looked at my check engine light being on even though I mentioned it when I got there. So have to go back tomorrow. Besides that Im happy with my purchase and with Ray Skillman staff and company!

Sales staff was pretty good, service staff on the other hand! Service had my truck for two weeks. Took them a week to diagnose the issue and get us a loaner vehicle. Then another 3 days or so to order parts and then we didn’t even get a call when the truck was done. I stopped in get something out of the truck and rep said “I’m pretty sure it’s done”! What do you mean your pretty sure! I told him to find out and let me know. He called me about an hour later and said it was done. I told him I was already heading out of town for the week and it would be Monday. He then proceeded to tell me that he really needed the truck back because another customer needed it. I’m sorry you took two weeks fix my truck and now need me to drop everything and return your loaner! Get it together Ford!

Great place to have your truck serviced

We drove 2hrs one way to look at the 2016 Ford F250 that was listed on several websites as certified truck only to find out that it wasnt. Cliff could not give me the build date of the truck and only alluded to me buying an extended warranty, in addition to paying full price. We were ready to buy the truck but Cliff was more interested in getting out of there than giving us answers. He just wanted us to come back later! The dealer we did buy a certified truck from told us the build date in less then 30 seconds.We felt like Ray Skillman Ford wasted our time and as a result you lost the sale!

Used car sales manager lied to me and then told me I was lucky they were going to take care of my problem with the vehicle I just bought. (I purchased 2 year bumper to bumper). I have it all recorded. Service dept. Was pretty good. All in all I will not do business with the used car sales manager ever again. I picked up my car after 1 month, scratches on hood and back up camera is now fogy. Just very disappointed with some people. Your business is only as good (or bad) as the people you hire.

Ray Skillman asked me if they could run a credit check on me although I already had a finance company.I said no, there is no need. I wanted to take the time to formally thank the service department for their assistance this morning. As I was pulling out of the driveway this morning at 0630, my trucks instrument panel warned me of low pressure in one of my tires. I got out of the truck and sure enough, I picked up a screw. Knowing I would now be late for work, I began to consider where I could take the truck to get the tire repaired. Limited coffee fogged my thought process and at 0700, I found myself at one of our local grocery stores that sells tires and performs vehicle maintenance. I watched nervously through the glass windows that separated me from my truck as the crew worked desperately to remove the tire from the wheel to begin the process of making the repair. After an hour of prying, pounding and head scratching I was notified that they would not be able to repair the tire. I received a free fill up of air, an apology and sent on my way. Having finished my mug of coffee at this point, I made the decision to go to Ray Skillman Hoosier Ford. The staff at the service desk greeted me with a smile, hand shake and assurance that they would take care of the tire. 15 minutes later I was handed my key and informed that everything was taken care of. Bottom line up front, I don’t know what is more dangerous: making irrational decisions early in the morning without adequate consumption of coffee, or taking your truck to a grocery store for maintenance. Either way, if you love what you drive take it to the professionals at Hoosier Ford.

I purchased a 2019 Ford Explorer Limited with the help of Ray Miller and he was very helpful in answering all of my questions with no pressure. He even helped me set my account up on Ford and connected my phone. Helped me change over my grandson’s car seat to my new explorer, which was a hassle but no complaints. I have been taking my car in for a few years now for routine oil changes and always have an excellent experience. Professional oil changes that are quick! This past visit I asked the guys if they could either not move my automatic seat when they drive it or put it back because I have been having issues with it not moving forward and only moving backward, which is a huge issue for a short girl with a tall husband. They were very nice to me about this issue and even squeezed into my car and didnt move the chair so I didnt have to mess with it for ever to get it back to where I needed it. Thank you guys! See you in another 3 months!

I have a one year old Ford escape. Today, on the way home from the zoo, with a car load of kids, I heard a horrible noise. I pulled over and called my husband and he suggested that I pull into the Martinsville Ford. Within 30 minutes they had identified my problem and had my car fixed. While the experience was stressful, I appreciate the assistance of this dealership. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs help.

I am so glad we came here to get our car serviced. They were so polite and really knew what they were doing. They had great rates and seemed to really care about making us happy. They had a nice waiting area with popcorn and coffee. We live in Bloomington IN and the one they have there is nothing like this one. We are going to be coming back here for every service.

I told him I would be there at 5pm and I gave him my phone number and told him I was driving from Indianapolis. Terrible customer service. I was very interested in a Lincoln Navigator, truly ready to buy and asked if I could come and see the car tomorrow (Friday). After several minutes of banter, I asked again and the salesperson told me that I would have to wait until Monday because the sales manager was taking the car to Nashville TN over the weekend for personal use. He likes this car so much he decided he wants to drive it over the weekend. How about you just call us on Monday? was his response. Unreal. After that, I decided I wasnt going to do business with these people. I bet Ray would be very unhappy with how they treated me - and how they lost a customer/sale.

On August 23rd, Hoosier Ford was the third stop on the Johnson County Sheriff Benefit Motorcycle Ride. My son came back from Basic Training and started working here. He was injured when someone lowered a car on his hand in the shop. He went to the hospital and the dealership would never pay for the $250 workman’s comp hospital bill. Myself and my son contacted the dealership and the bill never got paid. My son left his job there and still has the negative hospital bill on his credit report which he just had to pay off himself. Very poor treatment of an employee and a service man.

Called on a Friday to find out about removing a security fail-safe that is extremely inconvenient because I dont have wireless key entry to my Ford. I was told that yes they do that, to bring it in Monday between 8-9 am and they would take care of it. I get there Monday morning at 8:15 am and call and am told they cant do anything about it. There is no option to turn it off or alter it. Then they try to sell a wireless key fob for $55 (which I would have paid for no problem) and offer to program it (which is turning the car off and on 8 times and pressing the lock button on the fob) for $70. Overpriced services, and being lied to about being able to do something. I wasted my time getting up early for that, wasted my gas, and was almost hit by a reckless driver on the way there, and for what? Nothing. Will Never Come Back To This Dealership, EVER!

The service manager met all my special needs and my 60,000 checkup was completely surprisingly quickly. The expense for this, and the oil change, was minimal. Im pleased with the service at Ray Skillman.
