By far the worst customer service I have experienced. My boyfriend went into the Martinsville store and talked to James about ordering a washer/dryer and a kitchen table. James was quick to cut him off but assured him he got it. The washer/dryer was delivered but the men knew nothing about a table. My bf called the store and James said he had to order it and it would be the next Tuesday. Come the next week, no call or delivery. Laurie acted as if she had no idea what was going on. Several days passed and I stopped by to see what was going on. James had ordered the wrong table and again, no call to let us know. We decided to go ahead and try it again and order the right table, but now they tell us that the table was priced wrong so it will be more expensive- the table we were suppose to have already!! My boyfriend went into the store to talk to James and get his bosss number. James said he didnt care because it wouldnt be the first time and he has been doing this for 30 years so it isnt going to bother him. Still mind blown that he is a manager and running a store!!!

They have worked with us on items we have needed for years now. They are speedy when it comes to needing something fixed or replaced, willing to work with you if for some reason youre unable to pay on time. They have always been our go to

This company is absolutely amazing this year me and my husband has been struggling whether it was my job that I lost or my husband on medical leave and then when he went back they fired him... needless to say thru all of our struggles American rental helped us out with our payments on our sofa they understood our struggle and gave us lean way and then the last thing that happened right before Christmas we owed them over 200 which I was gonna pay half before my husband lost his job and American rental reset our whole contract so we didn’t owe anymore which took a big relief off my shoulders knowing I had a ton of other bills that had to be paid so I greatly appreciate this store.. I’m happy to even call them apart of my family for their caring hearts...

This company will harass you to death. They would text me over and over again ALL DAY LONG!They got very nasty when I said stop. They took it further into stalking and harassment and would beat on my door the 2nd day after I had a payment come due.STALK AND HARASS A DISABLED WOMAN AT HER HOME OVER $30 DUE ON 28TH BEAT ON DOOR AND THREATEN ON 30TH!!!HOW MESSED UP DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO CARRY ON BUSINESS LIKE THAT?!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BULLIESBULLIES WHO HARASS & THREATEN THE DISABLED OVER $30SICK

I am angry. I have always done 180 days same as cash at American Rental. I give them chunks 200 - 150 here/there. Not pay attention to weekly. They keep applying to weekly.They harass me on the phone texting me 5 min apart. Which is illegal and called stalking and harassment. I asked them to stop and they are nasty people who refuse to take no for an answer.I kept these texts as evidence of their harassment.Next they beat on my door. If I am due on the 28th, they beat on my door and threaten me on the 30th over $30.I have had enough of the bullying from this company. My property is off limits. If they continue to bully me I will take them to court.NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BULLIES -HARASSING A DISABLED WOMAN OVER A $30 PAYMENT ON THE 2nd DAY ITS DUEHOW SICK CAN YOU BE
