Dan is an amazing manager. He genuinely cares about his customers and will do anything to achieve satisfaction. I also really love they have carts for you to use, which makes transferring things much easier.

I experienced the BEST customer service by Carla. She was so sweet and friendly and helped me every step of the way with getting the unit I needed / wanted in a timely manner. 10/10 would recommend . THANK YOU CARLA 😊

I was having a house built in the area and used this location for about 8 months. Was perfect. Location was super accessible and the facilities were always kept clean and orderly. The staff was very helpful with any questions I had. Dan, specifically, was awesome to work with. If youre looking for conditioned or outside storage this location has both at a reasonable price.

We walked in unexpectedly, and within 45 minutes we had our unit, papers signed, information exchanged, and out the door to continue on with the rest of our day. Could not have asked for better! From start to finish- outstanding customer service, extremely knowledgeable with all offerings, pricing, and what would suit us best; facility is VERY clean. I am extremely pleased with the choose we made for a storage unit. Dan, the General Manager who helped us this past weekend, kudos to his exemplary customer service. Dan is amazing! He helped me set up my units and access when I was across the country and very overwhelmed. He was so helpful. The units are really nice and the facility is really well maintained.

I can’t say enough good things about Self Storage in Martinsburg. It’s in a good location. The buildings are clean and neat (my unit is inside). The outside is also kept up very well. The fees are very reasonable. The main reason I’m so pleased with my experience is because of Carla. I LOVE Carla. She went above and beyond to help me and make me feel comfortable. Carla and Dan were very friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to hear Carla as caring and pleasant after a long trip. She was professional, sympathetic and understanding.The facility is clean and well lit. I feel that my storage items are safe and secure. Although the price is a little higher than I would have liked, it is only for a couple of months.

First of all this place is absolutely AMAZING! Carla is who I dealt with and she not only helped me figure out which unit to go with she helped me with the monthly pricing for it by giving me the online rate even though I reserved it just FYI going in and she even gave me my first month free! She explained our rental in precise and concise terms without shadily dodging questions. Other places attempted to give us the run-around, now and again. This place, conversely, shoots straight. SSP showed us the contract documentation and reviewed the finer minutia. Pleased as punch and looking forward to more months of superb storage!

Carla Ward was absolutely outstanding to deal with. She also upsold me on the largest storage but it was for a reason. Once I talked over with her on my items to store she recommended the largest storage. Even with some very expert packing by my movers, the contents exactly fit into the storage space. It was a pleasure dealing with Carla.

The process for getting my storage unit rental was very fast & easy. Definitely super easy to select your unit and get everything set up online. Nice, new, and clean facility with great prices. Easy to get in and out of, too. The climate control system works great. Although it’s my first CC storage unit I would highly recommend this Safe Storage Plus location. Dan helped me finalize my agreement when I stopped in to sign the papers. He was very respectful and informative. Two thumbs up for the facility, and for Dan!

I rented a unit during a move- got a great deal and loaded it up. I then realized a bit later that I needed a second unit, and these guys were able to get me the unit right next to my first one! They combined my billing so I wouldn’t have two separate billing dates for the units and put me on auto pay (by my request)- easy peasy. No issues at all. I then cleared out one unit and cancelled it with ease, and just recently was able to clear the second and cancel that one as well. It was a painless process the whole way through. Everyone was kind and personable, I never waited on the phone long to talk to anyone, and each call (set up or cancellation) was super quick. The facility has always been clean every time I’ve gone and I felt my belongings were secure there. Will definitely use them again if I ever need storage space in the future.

The office is clean and clutter free. The staff have been wonderful to me and so helpful. They have made everything easy to rent a unit. They also made sure my unit was clean before I put my stuff in there. They also give you a map so you can easily find your unit on the property. 10/10 all around and would highly recommend anyone to use this storage facility.

My wife and I, apologetically, dropped in later in the day on New Years Eve, before they closed. Dan walked us through everything we asked, from differences between climate-controlled and non, to the brand new security system he balked at none of our questions, and his attitude towards us was excellent! He walked us through everything we wanted/needed and ended up getting a unit with them. He really made the experience as seamless as possible.

Janet was very polite and knowledgable on the packages and prices and she went the extra mile to even make sure the unit was clean. She was quick and responsive. Within minutes of renting the unit we were able to move things in. The prices are also the best in town and we called pretty much every place we saw on google. We were given a promotion that saved us cash and the first month is free. There is also insurance on your belongings, which is nice so its one less thing we have to worry about while moving. I loved that the property is secured too with cameras and gates that only tenants with codes can get in.

Dan the general manager was fantastic! Not only did he open the doors for me (COVID protocol or just plain ole hospitality) he explained everything thoroughly and made me aware of any and all fees. He was very kind and customer service there is the best I’ve seen. I appreciated the tour of the units I was interested in; I was declined twice by two other facilities so this is by far the best place! Although I do not intend to rent long term, I do know that I’ll always come back if I need storage. I do wish exiting to go back home was an easy left but I have to get off at Queen street and wrap around. Overall, I highly recommend!

This is a great storage place. Nice new units, well secured. Its all paved,well lit and the units have lights that come on as soon as you open it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely top notch experience! They were professional and extremely helpful! My lock was not locked properly by my son on one occasion and they alerted me right away when they completed a walkthrough to let me know that the unit was not properly secured. Not only did they email me but they also personally called and texted to ensure that I knew right away. They go above and beyond! The climate controlled unit was exactly what I needed. It was a great price, clean, well secured, and very clean. I highly recommend this business for all of your storage needs!

I am very pleased with Self Storage Plus. They came through for me as I transitioned moving from South Carolina to West Virginia AND downsizing...a lot! The unit is clean and well kept. In fact, when someones Night Before Christmas Monopoly play money was lying all over the place, the next day, it was all picked up! Believe me, thats big! The only thing that I would say that isnt quite a negative...perhaps a wish list moving forward. It would be great to have a cart at each door. Maybe Santa will bring them this year!

Edit/Update - Im sure everywhere is having staffing issues, but the quality of service and responsiveness has taken a significant nose dive. I originally gave them 5 stars, but this has fallen to 2 stars at best. Ive had numerous issues, all related to staff, over the last few months. Ive placed numerous phone calls, left messages, and emailed many times without a single response, for weeks - all over phantom credit card charges. Theyve apparently started charging me for their own insurance policy despite the fact I do have insurance covering the contents of the unit, and never agreed to take on their policy. They have a copy of my actual insurance policy that is up to date. Secondly, they apparently put a yellow lock on my unit for non-payment, which is especially insulting given I generously extended them a line of credit through prepayment for an entire years worth of rent. Happy to claw that back through my credit card company, fellas. Happy to also report you to Visa for placing unauthorized charges on my card. Get your act together.Old review: Great customer service and a fantastic facility! I needed to store some furniture during a move overseas. The folks here have been extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We enquired with a few places in the panhandle and we felt Self Storage Plus offered the best mix of affordable prices and facility security/quality compared to everyone else.

Good place. Started renting a unit earlier this year. Just rented a second one. Until we move. Only problem is that they just jacked their prices up a lot depending on how close you are to the gate.
