Wow this place it awesome, from the coffee to the donuts. Have tried the cold brew several times with their homemade flavor syrups. The lattes hot or cold are really good. The donuts though, wow, usually different from week to week and are always creative and really tasty. Make sure you get them early as they often sell out they are so good!

Nom! Best homemade donuts on the South Shore! Coffee’s great, bagels and toasts are solid, too. They sell AMG Energy Bites, also (try the espresso flavor)! Cute atmosphere, nice and bright seating area to do some work or sit and hang. Everyone’s super friendly and welcoming. Love the local vibe!

Easy online ordering, with intuitive menu to customize your coffee. I got dark roast which was really bold. They didnt go overboard on the cream and sugar which I find most places do. Got some donuts and toast as well, and I must say that the quality of the donuts was out of this world. Light, fluffy and insanely delicious. The toasts were good, and you get two pieces, so it is enough to share. The blackberry with mint was great and my wife said the avocado toast with tomatoes was exceptional. Staff was super nice. Stop in and support this exceptional local business!

I love this place. I live close to a lot of other coffee shops, but I gladly drive 15 minutes to get coffee here. Best coffee around! Their blackberry toast, bagel sandwiches, and donuts are phenomenal. And everyone is SO friendly. Definitely worth stopping for coffee/food!

Delicious latte! Exactly what coffee should taste like. Although I ordered the maple cinnamon, I think they forgot to add the flavoring it was still delicious.

I cannot get enough of Slacktide. The coffee is the best in town. The donuts are fresh and amazing. You might want to preorder them before you get there because sometimes they are sold out fast! The ham egg and cheese with chipotle mayonnaise is delicious and Silvia’s special is one of my favorites. They are all so friendly

Believe the hype this place is awesome. You have to try the homemade donuts. They’re up there with Boston’s elite donut shops Blackbird and Union Square if not better. Coffee was great and the bagels are top notch as well.

Fantastic little coffee spot. Stumbled upon it while exploring the Scituate/Marshfield coast and, while a little difficult to find it (tucked on the corner by the skatepark), man was I happy I did. The environment is a little hectic, but thats just because the coffee, sandwiches, and donuts are so good that people flock there.The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere feels like southern California / San Diego (the good aspects, not the pretentiousness) - happy, welcoming, excited, beachy, and bright. Large coffee selection, canned cold-brew, absolutely delicious breakfast options, and the donut holes were the best Ive had. Cant wait to go back. Slacktide is by far my favorite coffee shop I have been to. The staff are extremely nice and very welcoming. The coffee is among the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend anyone on the South Shore to come and grab a cup of coffee here. It’s a wonderful experience!

This place is great! Super friendly and great vibes. Coffee has a good distinctive taste and my vanilla latte was perfect. Was told all flavors are homemade as well which is nice to hear. Lemon pomegranate doughnut was right up my alley. Flavor was perfect and not too sweet which I prefer. Will be back again!

My daughter recommended this place. We are both foodies and share our new finds. The maple cinnamon latte and avocado toast were fresh and tasty. I had to try the donuts which arrive freshly baked around 9am. I shouldnt .....but I did buy two, a chocolate frosted and glazed. I ate more than 1/2 of each. My son devoured the rest. Highly recommend this shop. Owner and staff pleasant. Food and coffee fresh and delicious.

This is the best local coffee shop. A focused and delicious menu (and they don’t oversweeten their lattes!), weekend donuts, the best coffee and coffee subscription program, and the kindest crew. I go there often for coffee breaks and they know me by name. They are always super friendly, and I love the vibe in their cute little shop. And ordering online is a breeze. This is a very quaint Mom and Pop type of coffee shop. Its got that townie type feel to it. Fantastic coffee. I dont brag alot abt myself but, I KNOW, the difference btwn good coffee and great coffee.Got a bacon,egg, and cheese sandwich on perfectly buttered and toasted sourdough bread. Came all the way from Boston for the coffee and donuts. If you live in the Boston area or are vacationing near marshfield, you need to try!!! I got the “holy cannoli” donut. Cinnamon sugar donut with whipped cream/ ricotta inside and chocolate shavings on top. Best donut I’ve ever had. Highly highly recommend.

My son, a barista in Providence, found Slacktide and recommended it as a must go. My wife and I went. First note upon walking in the door: bright, clean and cool modern decor. Second, staff-managers were super welcoming, engaging and friendly. Third, they use a La Marzocco Linea professional line dual group espresso machine. No ordinary cafes use a La Marzocco, arguably the best espresso machines in the world, and 100% hand crafted in Florence Italy. Slacktide is extraordinary. Fourth, they perfectly roast their own beans...which are well balanced, rich and earthy. Not bitter or burned. Fifth, they do that La Marzocco espresso machine, and their customers, complete justice: espresso with rich crema, perfect froth on the milk, the correct espresso/milk proportions (~2 oz. espresso & 6 oz. milk, in accordance with Italian standards), and beautiful pour with nice but not gaudy latte art. Sixth, tasty selection of fresh croissants and morning nibbles. This is the best place around. Please go! You wont be disappointed. Wishing Slacktide all the best for continued success!

First try here and very pleased. The Kenyan drip was very smooth and the iced coffee drinks got good reviews from my family. They were also pretty quick with our bigger order. Marshfield has needed a place like this—real coffee. Looking forward to trying their beans.

The ONLY real coffee shop in Marshfield I’ve found so far. If you’re looking for something better than Dunks or Marylou’s, 10/10 recommend. I’m a big fan of a non-dairy dirty chai, and Slacktide nails it every time. The owners and staff are great (they’ve even offered to let me use a separate room if I need a quieter space to work), and they nailed online ordering and curbside pickup during the pandemic. It’s too small inside to sit and chat but if they open up the outdoor space next door in the mornings for Slacktide customers, you would have an awesome outdoor hangout and WFH space.

So happy this craft coffee shop is nearby and en route to the beach. Their roasted beans are great, rotate through but always a good medium roasted option. Pastries are great and their service is super friendly.

Went for coffee this morning and was greeted by the nice owners, EXCELLENT service, and even better coffee. We had a cold brew, small hot coffee, and a pour over...each was fantastic. Also dont miss the chocolate chip cookies...to die for. We will be back no doubt.

Located in between a surf shop and Mexican restaurant, which are all openly connected adds to the awesomeness of this place. Zac and his crew are the best and will always put a smile on your face! Great local coffee shop! Locally owned, and locally roasted single origin beans if you like to make your own coffee at home. They have a great menu of coffee drinks, and bakery treats to go along with them! Cant recommend this place enough! Plus its in a shared space with the Levitate surf shop, and Rexicana taco bar!

The best coffee money can buy!! I signed up for the roasters choice monthly subscription and it has been on point every time. I used to think light roasts were wack...but then I tried the Peru Chasqi and it is 🔥🔥🔥. Coffee delivery is definitely a highlight of the month during quarantine when I definitely need something to boost the energy and lift spirits. Keep it up SlackTide!
