I got prompt attention, nice friendly ladies that let me look around without hovering around me. Absolutely great looking store nicely arranged and selection decent for how little the store is. Only downside was the wait time for the items to be delivered and I had to buy not my items of choice due to the long wait time to get the items. But I am happy with my experience and satisfied with the customer service these ladies provided me.
I had a few specific needs and Joey Shields was very helpful towards those needs.

The employees are professional, polite, and technically proficient. They are clean and easy to work with. Any questions I had were all answered with ease. I have bought from slumberland twice and both experiences were above par. The female employee that helped me load the first couch that I bought basically did an Olympic dead lift with it. Very impressive. She needs a raise for sure. 9/10 because some prices seem a bit high but it do be like that sometimes. Have recommended to friends. Will continue to purchase from slumberland in Marshalltown.
Everytime I come in to this place, the staff are welcoming and they are always there tending their customers just in case the customers have questions and show, explain every furniture the customers has expressed interest in buying. Very professional attitude.

When I phoned you’re store two days ago to inquire about a metal queen size bed frame, the gentleman I spoke with said he only had one left in stock. I asked him to benchmark that item with my name and number. When I arrived to pick frame up the sales person had no note or ticket wrote out. My goal was to be in and out in less that 10 minutes. Well that did not happen..

After the tornado hit our house, we had to replaced almost everything! We are so happy we went to Slumberland. We not only found exactly what we wanted but also had great customer service. Kristen, our sales representative, was so patient and spent 3-4 hours with us while we picked out 4 furniture for four different spaces in the house. We can’t wait to receive our furniture and hope for the best during the delivery!

The staff I dealt with were friendly and no too pushy. Which is refreshing since I simply appall salesmen. The majority of the furniture is a bit high priced but the sale item prices are a bargain. And all items are decent quality.
The ladies working were super friendly and helpful, my daughter and I spent a good long while trying out all the different couches before narrowing it down, they had no problem checking their stock on multiple couches and colors to help us find one we liked that would be available quickly. This is our 3rd room of furniture from here, never had a bad experience and we will continue going to this location for our furniture needs.

First time at Slumberland in Marshalltown and was trying to find a good deal with couch and salesmen wasn’t very helpful til I kept looking for a lower price couch and when I got my furniture some parts was broken when I brought it home. For price I paid I won’t be going back. Very not impressed and yes I didn’t think I need to insure the couch for price that was paid that was my fault but parts shouldn’t of been broken to begin with. Have been trying to get a hold of them to tell them issue but no answer and called more than 12 times still no answer.

I bought a couch for 3,500 from them and have had nothing but problems. The couch has been electrocuting my family. I paid for a warranty and have had a technician here 3 times and they have only made matter worse. They never return my phones call. The worst company Ive ever done businesses with!
We had a great experience at Slumberland in Marshalltown with Chelci. We were able to take fabric color swatches home for almost a week which was great and going back to order was easy! They did hover when we were looking and checked up on us just enough.

I have a warranty on a mattress I Purchased from slumberland two years ago. I had a letter to provide to the local slumberland to have a credit towards a new mattress. I spoke with Kristen in the store and she was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I walked out spending more than I wanted to but in the long run it would be worth it. I’m glad she took her time to educate me on the differences between mattresses. Otherwise I feel I would’ve walked out with a mattress and I would be back in the store two years later with the same issue.

Will never buy from them again have had nothing but problems since I purchased my couch ottoman and tv stand. They ripped my couch the first time had to bring me a new and then the seem can apart and had to bring me another one but didnt order the whole thing just one piece and the delivery guys was rude and all that you could give someone for spending that kinda money was a 100 in store credit

Not only did we find what we wanted. The service was excellent and what we got is only taking a few days to be delivered vs other places it seems like it takes weeks or months.
