Most displeased with the service from the OWNER, I went in for a battery replacement of an $250 automatic/quartz fossil watch, and the owner MARRED & SCRATCHED the inner workings jabbing at it like a caveman poking at first sight of FIRE.I told him it was a rare watch and he said and I quote “There is probably a reason for that”.He then half way pulled out part of the alignment ring, causing the motion of seconds dial to fall off it’s central pinion.This guy had no interest or patience to examine how to correctly dismantle the watch.WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN

My Fiancé went in to buy my engagement ring. The lady helping him showed him several, including what she called a new style. Turns out the ring is NOT considered an engagement ring, it is a FASHION RING! (We discovered this when looking for a wedding band to go with it....WHY would you show someone a Fashion ring when they were clearly looking for an ENGAGEMENT ring?!) I absolutely love my ring so it doesnt matter what it is classified as to me....we are going to have two bands, (one for each side) custom made but Marcotte Jewelry will NOT be making them!A week or so later I took another ring in that I had lost a diamond out of. Dropped it off, they said they would call when it was done. About 10 days later I called to see if it was done and if I could possibly pick it up on Saturday as I was going to be in town. (We live about 40 mins away) I talked to the lady first and she was very rude. She then put me on hold and the owner came on the line, he was also rude! Told me that it was an easy fix since I had the diamond and would just call me when it was done! It was another week before I received that call telling me that my easy fix was done!We will never do business there again!(If I could rate them a zero, I would!)

I have gotten several pieces here. The staff has always been helpful and my jewelry is beautiful!

Unfriendly and apathetic. The owner has lied to me repeatedly. Am now on my third wedding band because they keep breaking. Was told by the owner after the last time my ring broke that the problem is that its made in China. My question is: Why is Marcotte Jewelry selling inferior Chinese jewelry, and why wasnt I told that i was about to buy a Chinese ring? Had I known, I wouldve looked elsewhere for a wedding band. And to add insult to injury, Im being charged a $50 replacement fee. I thought that what the warranty was for in the first place.Thats my story. Decide for yourself if this is the kind of place where you want to shop for the symbol of your everlasting love.

Very disheartened and disappointed In the way we were treated here. The woman who assisted us acted in a very haughty manor. As if we didnt belong in her jewelry store. The atmosphere was not at all enviting or friendly.😞
