I’ve been here a handful of times but plan on making this my go to store. It’s half the drive time as the big box store I’ve been going to, and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Altogether, a trip there and back takes me noticeably less time, including time in the store because it’s smaller, things are easier to find, and there’s always someone around to answer questions. Prices are slightly higher, which you’d expect, but if service is important to you, this is the place.

ONLY OPEN TILL 7:30pm! Apparently the only place to get the correct store hours is Facebook. Not Google or the True Value website. Sorry but when your own company’s website says you are open till 8pm… you should stay open till 8pm.

The employee Michael is phenomenal. I came in with other electrical issues and he walked me through soldering procedure and even offered to do it in store when he would bring his soldering kit from home. I ended up buying the kit because I felt confident enough from his instructions to do it myself.

Good place for basic hardware needs. Friendly service and assistance. Thank you for service with a smile.

Great Staff and Nice place to fix screen doors. I got repaired screen doors (Mesh) for my back yard door and windows. Instead or replacing the door with $$$ just get it fixed by ACE technician for a minimal amount.

Bought a Weber Grill on a Sunday in May 2021. Customer service was very pleasant & helpful. Delivered the assembled grill the next day by 1:15pm. The two delivery guys were very nice & helpful as well. Very good experience!

This True Value is probably the largest one that I’ve been inside of in a while. They had tons of products and I actually wish that I had the time to browse this impressive store. Unfortunately I was broken down in the area and time was of the essence. What I’m used to in every True Value is having that knowledgeable person that seems to have worked there/been with the company for YEARS, knows where everything is and can walk you right to whatever it is that you’re looking for. Not exactly the case here.High school kids were working the front and just asked what it was that I was looking for. Told them “Nuts and bolts.” One replied “In the back.” Now they were in the back, but it was quite the selection. Almost overwhelming. I wish that I lived closer to this store just based on their selection alone. Regardless, I was left to my own devices back there stumbling through the nuts and bolts frustrated. Eventually I grasped their layout and figured it all out, but I truely missed the presence of that knowledgeable individual that seems to know every inch of the store like every other True Value that I’ve ever been to. So once I was done with that I needed some hand tools. Back up to the front I went. Had to get the attention of the high school kids that were having high school-like conversations with each other while ringing people up. The one fumbled through the tools with me and we made due, but that one customer service/product knowledge element was really missing from this whole experience. ☹️

Next level customer service…while they didn’t have exactly what I need they were prompt to help me at least search for a certain bolt size…I’ll be a returning customer!

This is the ONLY place I will ever come to for my plumbing supplies. The staff was very friendly, and helpful as soon as I arrived. I went to 5 different plumbing supply stores, and not a single one could come up with a solution. An associate named Tom assured me he would be able to help, and within minutes, he did. Hee came up with a solution that no one else could. His knowledge of plumbing is excellent. He found me a solution for my washer drain for 7 bucks. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is my go-to hardware store. Helpful associates, good selection of products, and they can special order just about anything that they dont have in stock. They have made so many of my home projects and repairs so much easier and more successful.

Im so happy that they opened so close to my house. They usually have what I want, the people are friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to help you decide the best tools for your project. As a bonus, you never feel like they are rushing you out of the store-- even if you walk in 5 minutes before they close. The people working at the big box stores dont know the answers to your questions beyond what the customer can read for himself on the product label. Even worse, they treat you as if you are inconveniencing them by walking in the door, and sometimes close before their posted closing time.

Im always trying to support local small businesses over the big box stores. However when inventory is limited I can see why a trip to a big box store may be worth the crowds.

Just got back from True Value and I have to say that the employees are phenomenal. I am 9 months pregnant and just purchased a 10lb bag of rock salt and the gentleman who rung me up carried the bag out to the car for me. This isnt the first time Ive received great service from this store either. Thanks guys!

First time here as I needed Benjamin Moore paint, the younger guy was not knowledgeable which was fine, he got an older guy over and that guy seemed annoyed. I paid about $100 for 2 gallons of paint and never heard “thank you “. Then they wonder why the big box stores get the business.

Good honest people, easy to deal with, tell you flat out on the phone if they have something that works for your needs and the price! I pop in this shop 2-3 times monthly for various needs. Great shop.

Went there for a propane exchange. Was treated rudely by the high school age employee. I can get that treatment at Home Depot or Lowe’s too. That’s where I’ll be for now on. Better prices. Told the manager his response was “okay”. Laughable

Came here today to get a motorcycle key cut. No one locally stocks motorcycle keys, so i had to order one from the manufacturer. Manufacturer sends a blank key which has to be cut the same way as the master key. Any hardware with a key cutting machine can do it and charge for a service/key cutting fee. The older gentleman with a mustache (Im assuming the owner) came off very rude and was borderline accusing me of running some kind of scam. Kept mentioning that the key cutting machine costs around $15K and that people are trying to scam them somehow by cutting keys. I mentioned multiple times that i would be happy to pay a key cutting service fee and he still kept talking about the cost of the key cutting machine. He did provide a name of a locksmith service which was unfortunately closed for the day.

I have a true value around the corner from my house, but I drive to this particular one (about 15 mins) because the customer service is superb.
