Fran! My husband and I took my dad to the Home Depot in Marlborough, MA a few weeks back. Let me preface this by saying that my father is 89, determined, and deaf to a point that he can not hear unless you yell. We had many employees walk by and disregard him and us. We even had one woman look at him and pretty much run. She worked there too. In desperation (knowing that it would be a very long trip without help in this giant store), I asked a guy where to get the correct shingles that dad was looking for. It was Fran. He helped. Not only did he help but he realized our need for help with my dad. Fran was the ONE person that we have ever met in a Home Depot that is knowledgeable, kind, caring, and helpful. This guy needs a raise. I cannot tell you how appreciative we are for his help in a very difficult situation. He stayed with us and made sure that we were all set. He even pushed the carts to help dad. If it wasn’t for Fran, we would’ve been there for six hours. No joke. If you need help at the Home Depot in Marlborough, MA, ask for Fran. His patience with my difficult dad amazed us. It was like an angel was sent that day. Thank you Fran! We will be back!

This location needs to learn what customer service is! I was ignored by several employees there! They treated customers like they were transparent. I didn’t get what i need until I complained to the manager. And the manager had to do it himself! Busy is not an excuse! They should at least tell the customer that they would get someone to help instead of ignoring them completely! This store location is by far the worst one I have ever visited.

Well stocked, clean and mostly well organized. Can be hard to find someone who works there...

Cheap quality items, rising prices, and a rude and lost staff cause this store to be more of a headache than its worth. I did construction for 4 yrs, roofing for 1, painting for 2, and 16 in customer service/retail. Just go to lowes or support your local stores.

Very nice home depot. Friendly staff and the store is well set up. Its a similar set up to most other home depots but I feel like the rows in the tool aisle were a little bit wider.

Very difficult to check out, but it made up for it in wonderful customer service. If it was the service alone, it would definetly get seven out of 5 stars. Lol

When I went there to pickup a single filter for My Ridgid Vacuum, the price has nearly doubled from $10 to $19. Wont be buying to many single filters for $19. Each. Worked there for 11 yrs till 2013 and I only saw so far 3 of the original associates that have been working at the store for years. The store doesnt have the feeling that you the customer are Welcomed to shop there, anymore. Like when I worked there. I walked over to where the electric cords are and a customer walked over and asked a associate whom was packing down products from overhead shelfs, where a certain product was the associate didnt stop and get down off the ladder and help the customer find the product he was looking for. Instead the associate said to the customer it should be at bay such and such. That there is terrible customer service. The customer looked and walked off not very happy. I had many customers that walked in and I Welcomed them and helped them if I could or I would get an associate whom had better knowledge of what the customer was looking for. A few of the regular customers asked for me when they walked into the store.

I’ve been going here for years; usually its early in the morning. The staff is always great. I’m renovating an entire house, so I’m always down there with my dog Nacho to get something. Nacho loves going there; he can be in a funk, and all I have to do is mention Home Depot and he’s off the couch, and at the door waiting for me.I’m a veteran and they’ve been great to us; always giving us the 10% savings I can’t thank them enough for that.Below are some of the things that I have bought there since I started my renovations, and a pic of Nacho.

So since I was a kid weve always called home Depot home cheapo and Lowes would be Lowes blows compared to home cheapo

Hay bales... getting ready for a wedding decorating with fall items so we needed hay bales... mmmm brand new car... hay in the back end mmm its not even my wedding.So i loaded the wagon with bales got to the register and asked if by chance they had plastic or paper to cover the floor of the did I say brand new car...Yes.... Yes...yes... thank you for thinking ahead Home Depot. This was a last minute purchase and I wasnt prepared for the mess.

We always have a good experience at this location. It is surprising clean and the staff have always been friendly, even when they are clearly slammed. I went in with my toddler the other day looking for long burning fire logs, he and I were talking and trying to find the selection when a staff person, who had over heard us from the other aisle, went out of his way to come over and ask us if he could help us. So impressed by this young man. Well done whoever is in charge of hiring!

Great Service and the employees are a Lot more friendly than they used to be

Ive been coming to this home depot since i was a kid helping my dad push the cart. The staff can help you find anything you need in the store whether its a grade 8 m6 bolt or 16ft 1x6 wood. They are always stocked up on everything regardless of what it is. Its always an easy project when i can go into this home depot, because i know theyll help me find what i need and alot of the staff is relatively qualified to help you with your project.

This place is centralized so they carry many things.

Dont ask anyone under 50 for advice and youll be fine.

A standard Home Depot, like any large box store. Store was clean and tidy, but didnt seem to have the variety of items at a usual Home Depot. Perhaps its a little smaller? The items they had in stock were fine. Staff were friendly, but not pushy.

No big deal but not warm and fuzzy at Marlboro HD. I guess I cant blame them.

Im going to rate only based on my today experience: I was warmly created by clerk and he quickly ringed my items and offered to help with loading them.

So I been a customer with homedepot for over 15 years and wherever I have moved home depot has been there to help me along the way. I was their so much so that one summer I worked in home depot just to have some experience. Long story short I know and appreciate great customer service. Bob from appliances, Kim and most of all my hero Mary D. Have provided me and my family with the best customer service ever. Spending time to help me find what i need at the best cost. You just dont find that sort of customer service these days. Home depot should have more employees like these folks.

Lots of home maintenance and improvements products at fair prices. App is great. Friendly and helpful staff. Self-checkout a breeze.

They had more choices than I expected, great place for almost anything

While they had the items I needed, when I checked out they had no actual cashiers open, forcing everyone into self checkout. Further, the self checkout had NO regular scanner where you could pass items over it, *only* a hand held scanner. This forces a lot of forced tactile interaction at a time when we should be minimizing it. Not sure if this is at all Home Depot’s or just this location but I’ll be sticking to other home retailers until further notice.

Very disappointed on the delivery guys. Very rude, disrespectful, I ask question and they answered very rude I also ask if I have everything order that I was going to check If I had my hoses for my washer and dryer one of the guy gave a nasty look turn around and left, I run after him and I ask very nice that I had a receive where they need it to take my old dryer and he raised his voice at me and said they were no going to take anything that was not on his order, I ask if I can call to verified and he said not and keep walking. I try to show my receive and they close their door on me star his truck and left me talking to myself and left . I call Home Depot they said they were going to check my order and never call me back...

Poor service can never find an employee to help and when u do they are rude.

Needed to rent a truck quick. Just bring in license, major credit card and insurance coverage page. :) Done

Tolerable prices, good service.

I am in a Homedepot every other day for work and personal shopping. Never had an experience like the one I did today. From now on I will drive OUT OF MY WAY to avoid this store. Saw a customer in front of me at self check out, and Ann, your self check out attendant told the customer in front of me his card isnt working. I step up to the card only kiosk and attempt to make a purchase, same thing chip reader doesnt work. I tried to bring it to her attention so the other 10 people behind me didnt all try to use the same card machine and she RAISED HER VOICE AT ME! saying she couldnt fix it, and what do you want me to do... I told her it was the worst experience I had and get out of her face and stop talking to her like that. I was not loud nor was I cursing. I grabbed the bag of items I had already scanned and Bagged to move over to the next self check out kiosk To PAY FOR MY ITEMS and she tried to rip the bag from my hand while I was moving 3 steps away! And proceeds to say, dont you walk away from me with that merchandise. I am disgusted and offended at her claim that I didnt give her the impression I was going to pay. I will never return to this store again. Piss poor customer service. If I could give no stars I would.

Associates were extremely helpful in finding the product I was looking. Website showed they had it in stock but it wasnt where it should be and they helped me search the store and we found it. Now my project can continue.

Product and store was clean. They were on top of sanitizing the keypads after each use. Frustrating that they are going with fewer cashiers. Hate seeing jobs get thrown away.

No registers open, they expect you to go to self checkout. The guy that watches the self checkout registers was very pleasant so I raised it to 3 stars because of him.

Fairly large selection of wood molding with a variety of prices to choose from. Helpful staff and very friendly. Great choice when shopping for wood moulding. Prices are not bad at all.

During this time of the Covid 19, not many people have a smile on their faces. Well, in the Marlboro Home Depot there is truly a bright spot for all of us in the form of Patty Terrasi. She is truly pleasant, went way out of her way to take care of me, had a great smile right through the mask, and made me want to come back. Thank you very much Patty. And stay safe.

Staff was extremely helpful, found everything I needed

Home Depot delivery service refused to install our dishwasher and microwave, and refused to remove and haul away the old ones — despite seeing the $140 install & haul charge. Apparently they’re a RI company and not allowed to install here in MA. Oh, and they came at SIX AM. For nothing! (May 7, 2021)

Some ideot sold me some paint that was clored and did not told me it wasnt refundable. the paint wasnt even close to the price he quoted. ripoff! i wont buy paint there again! buyer beware make sure you emplyee is an expert and ask questions dont trust what they state!

Garden pots are picked over! Very few organic veggie plants. Staff was great. Everyone is wearing masks too.

This home improvement store is excellent. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. They have a lot of services available as well. We had our heating system replaced through Home Depot. I highly recommend this store.

AWFUL costumer service, absolutely PATHETIC!

Ordered a dishwasher online and paid for installation and called customer service to verify that installation was included. The dishwasher arrives this morning and the delivery men said they are not certified to install. The delivery men also said we have 48 hours to get it installed and tested that it works. Well its a weekend and we cant get some one to come install within the 48 hours so we called the store to have them come pick up the appliance and refund our money. The store is refusing. Saying they see on our order that it includes installation, but that installation isnt available in our area and also since we signed for the appliance we are now liable.... absolutely ridiculous!!!

This is the second time Ive come here for propane and they have not had any. They clearly need a larger propane storage area as it doesnt accommodate enough for the area.

This Home Depot is my home store. Friendly staff, handicapped accessible and handicapped friendly. You can walk in here with your Pooch and/or your kids. Everything you need for your home, business, summer cottage, a shed, a hobby or whatever stimulates you. They have about everything.If you are like me, I go there to get one thing and next thing you know I end up buying extra things, going over budget and after cashing out I hide it in the trunk so my wife doesnt know I got more tools that she thinks I dont need. Its always a battle of wits. She goes overboard during spring, I know but she doesnt know I know. I find the receipts when I vacuum the car. Gotta Love Family.Home Depot is the best!

Two women employees assisted me. I was looking for fly strips. Technically, I did not find any here. However, I bought sticky paper that I strategically set up in my home and they have worked well. I also bought a safe-for-pets and humans bug spray. Seems to work well.

Garden side is very loaded.

Seemed like any other home Depot to me. They had a convenient contractor pick up area that was covered and seemed to get some good use. The bathrooms were clean and easy to find (all the way to the right of the store) and there seemed to be plenty of people at the registers.

Home Depot Natick is horrible!!!No one knows anything there at all! Customer service from employees is non existent!Pro desk is hilarious! Melissa wont even smile to greet a customer and every time I am in there she is complaining about someone, either a customer or employees! Shes never happy!One of the most miserable people I have ever met!It has taken me more than a half hour to get a phone sale done and Ive watched Melissa walk off while Ive been waiting.Marlboro store and west Roxbury absolutely rock! Friendly and knowledgeable! Really cant say enough about those two stores!

Besides being down the street so its convenient for me, they typically have whatever tools or materials I need in stock so I dont have to wait for an order to come in.

Its like every home depot you talk to six different people and no one seems to know anytime..eventually you find what you need.

Today I went to Home Depot. I entered the store and showed the man the color I wanted. When I showed it to him on my phone he said something really offensive to me. I am hispanic and I dont speak English very well. So when I was talking to me he said something along the lines of as it seems you speak in another language so I dont understand you that got me really mad. Not that I am exaggerating but it was really rude. So I have to tell you that the people that work there at least need to be nice to the customers.

Just about everything you need here to fix and upgrade your home.The tool rental center keeps getting better - now offering mini-excavator, trenchers, and many other kinds of outdoor power equipment. Of course, the cost and convenience of the on-site truck rental cant be beat.Some locations also host Penske moving truck rentals.

Great professional personality. The new Manager was very helpful, even the cashier made one of my best visits of many (Im a handyman so Its my home away from home).

In my opinion the social distancing I observed of some staff and shoppers left a lot to be desired. Carts full of orders were crowding some of the aisles, some employees had PPE, and some did not. Theres a lot of room for improvement here.

The registry of motor vehicles has a more friendly staff. Everyone seemed to have an attitude. Additionally, they took out ALL the registers. You have to self checkout at this store. I asked for someone to help check me out and the guy had such an attitude, one guy for 8 self checkout counters!

Solid home Depot. Nothing really special or different from any other home Depot, just what you normally expect. Decent prices, knowledgeable staff

He took his time and told me exactlyhow to do this to my two windows. His name is Walter do not know last name. it was about2 pm today 1/19/2016. A very nice Man..

Ok hard to find some tool boxes but one if the workers went on a self a got them for us .

Can usually find what youre looking for.. Service is pretty good And most staff are knowledgeable.

Always a great spot for getting what we need from the big box style hardware stores. One negative experience with an employee, but follow up with a manager was excellent. Will return for DIY project needs large and small.

Found all the items I was looking for

I recently did a project through ACSouth through Home Depot and was completely dissatisfied by the level of commitment and service. This was a project for laying out hardwood on all of my second floor at my single family house in MA. I did everything through home depot and was co-ordinated through Home Depot to work with ACSouth. I got on the phone and discussed the installation details and they first gave me a date two weeks later than the one I wanted. I had concerns because of guests arriving that weekend from CA and PA that friday. I wanted to make sure that they finished everything by Wednesday provided they start on Monday. They convinced me that this project will take 4-5 days for installation but guaranteed that this will be done in 5 days. I had Home Depot store manager on the same call. Inspite of their guarantees they finished only about 60% after 5 days. Had I known this before I would gladly pushed the whole project out by a few weeks or months. Home Depot does not manage their contracts such as ACSouth well and ACSouth does not manage their subcontracts well either. For an area of over 1400 sq ft of hardwood installation two guys show up late the first day and tell me that there are no guarantees. If this is the case, I dont get why Home Depot is even in the middle of all this - I could have gone with a better installer directly instead of giving middleman money for such a unprofessional project plan. If you happen to work with ACSouth - suggest you directly work with someone you know directly. My strong suggestions.

What you would expect from a Home Depot. Staff were helpful-ish as it wasnt too busy. Stock levels were Whats there is it, unless its on a truck..We wanted pvc pipe, cord, chain and some nuts. The cord were in 2 places, 2 different aisles, but nearby. The PVC was all in one aisle, but in 2 places, either end of the aisle.

Once a day, at least for our carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing needs.
