Best Indian grocery store in Marietta area. The stock is fast moving, hence always fresh. (Except some of the snacks at the back of the first aisle, I have found some stale one two/three times). The veggie section is well stocked with fresh produce. They do sell eggs, milk, and desi dahi. A limited selection of idly/dosa batters is alaways available. The flour and rice section had dozens of options to choose from. They also have lots of masalas and spice powders.Different types of fruits are available. They stock jack fruit slices, mangoes, and small bananas. The canned fruits section has other Indian fruits as well.Check out process is quite fast and they put all your things in cardboard boxes if you ask. Overall, a nice friendly neighborhood Indian grocery store in Marietta area.

Products availability and the quality are good. However, the customer service is average. Also, I don’t think every customer receives the same quality of customer service. What bothers me the most is they don’t clean their shopping carts even during COVID time. So many days I watched them picking up the carts from the parking lot and leave them by the store for customers to use them. They don’t have a sanitizer in the store for the customers to use. Neither masks. There is a little notice by the cashier saying sanitizer, masks and gloves are available for SALE. I think, they need to care about customers too, if they want to have long term success. Not just Numbers!!!

A great little market to pick up all the ingredients for an Indian meal, or when I’m looking for that obscure spice. My favorite part of the market though is the prepared food. Drop in and pick up a samosa, chili pakora, or aloo vada and for very little money you’ll have a fabulous lunch! Credit cards are accepted but only on orders greater than $5.

I have been buying from this store for years. The owner has always been friendly and helpful. But today I received the worst customer service. I picked up a few items and two bags of rice. One of the bags slipped off my hand and fell to the floor, tearing up. The owner came with the broom and dustpan, the cashier began to pick up the rice from the floor, putting it back in the torn bag. I apologized and tried to get another bag from the shelf but sadly the cashier asked me to take the rice that she had picked from the floor. She even said to me you can wash it. To avoid all the talk, I paid for the rice but did not take the bag of rice that was picked off the floor. I was really disappointed. Will never return to Shivam.

Really nice now that theyve remodeled the entire store. Friendly employees that acknowledge your presence and will speak to you. The attendants are happy to slice your lunch meat how ever youd like it, and the butchers will be happy to cut your steaks while you wait. Store is really clean, and appealing.

Bought this packet of murrukku last week from this place. It’s my second experience, when l opened the packet it was so smelly, feels like some bad oil was used while frying. Though l have been to this place many times and l found almost everything watever l needed but it was the second time l experienced stale and smelly stuff inside the packets. Moreover the quantity was too less according to price. Very disappointed.

We bought Karachi fruit biscuits last month and found they have bugs in them and realized they are expired. I let it slide and still continued to go there because I am getting my groceries from Shivam from quite some time and dint have any complaints. But yesterday I was really shocked to see that there are no measures of sanitation inside the store. No sanitizers or wet wipes. When I asked about it they kinda replied little rude saying they do not use sanitizers inside. I would suggest people not really visit this store During this pandemic.

Closest Indian grocery store in the Marietta neighborhood. Get most of the daily essentials for an Indian family. Vegetables are often fresh clean and reasonable but green leaves are costly - still worth the money. Sometimes we get expired grains and on informing about it to store keeper they removed the sticker which had the date. Not sure if they sent it back or placed it in the shelf again with a new expire date sticker.

The one with ginger and cumin is delicious. They have a great frozen food section with vegetarian options for $2.99, easily feeds 2 people. If you dont know how to make your own sauce.I make amazing curry dishes, yet still but the veggie meat ball one and eggplant.Customer for life.

It is an Indian grocery store which also has a small place for vegetables and fruits ( particularly found in various regions of India). The shop is not too big but provides almost everything you need. It has Indian snacks, dairy products, pulses, spices and few of the exclusive pots and pans rack. The pots and pans are over priced though, but if u are ready to pay then u will get them here. My favorite are the fresh vegetables u get here (okra the best). Some price are quite high as compare to the actual price of the product in India. Overall a good place .

Not sure what the fuss is about with bad service and bad price. I have been shopping at Shivam for many years and they are all good, hard working people. You pretty much get everything you need without having to drive all the way to Decatur. Sure they are a bit more expensive than those massive stores in Decatur or Alpharetta but its well worth the convenience.Bashing a place for not getting a smile. Worst Asian grocery store ever!!They sell all the old stock or leftover from Patel and Suvidha, and when you want to return something that is not opened or bought 1 week back(even an unopened one):1. They look at you as if you stole from the store and now trying to return it.2. They then interogate you and check the product batch number etc.3. They will humiliate you and embarrass you in front of everyone and finally say “this is not our store product”.Never in my life I faced this situation. This store people treat customers as thieves.I bought a Royal Son-a Masoori which has insects in it. I didn’t even try to return it in fear of losing my dignity.Worst store ever!!!Go to Suvidha near to Marietta.I heard even Patel is opening a store nearby by January 2019.I generally never write a review and that too a bad one, but I hope reading this helps few at least.Beware if Shivam Goceries!!!They must have not named it after a Gods name :(

Shivam Groceries is by far the BEST Indian Grocery here in Atlanta. I have been to Patel Brothers, Suvidha in Kennesaw and they not only smell bad as soon as you walk in, but the products are kept very unhygenically. I have introduced Shivam to many of my American friends and they too have claimed that the cleanliness of the place is far superior to any Indian grocery store they have visited. I have been going to this Store since 2003. Suvidha in Kennesaw is actually closer for me, but I will never set my foot there mainly because of its unhygienic conditions...
