This pharmacy is substandard. I have had prescriptions called in, and gone to pick them up, only to be told the medicine was back ordered and would be in in a few days. When I asked the clerk to see if a partial amount of medicine was available so I wouldnt run out, lo and behold...there is the medicine! Plenty of it, sitting on the shelf.This has happened the last two times I have filled prescriptions there. I have come to understand that it will be in stock in a few days is a code word for Im going to let some one else fill it tomorrow because I dont feel like it and kick it down the road to someone else. The store is dirty. There are places where the sub flooring is caving in on the aisles. Its gross. They refuse to accept cash unless you have exact change because they say they cant get coins, and if you dont have exact change, they round it UP SO THEY CAN POCKET THE DIFFERENCE. Isnt this illegal??

I do not live in Marblehead anymore but I go out of my way to use this cvs and the pharmacy. They are awesome and so helpful. The pharmacy staff has always gone above and beyond to help me. Great place, I highly recommend

Of all the places in Marblehead, perhaps there is a reason why folks would like to keep the chains out. I’ve unfortunately had to go here a few times, and the staff there is just plain rude and unhelpful. The kiosk for cvs rewards does not work as well. At first I thought it was a one or two time bad experience, but has happened every single time. We switched our pharmacy and thus hope we don’t need to set foot into this place again.

I got the impression that associates there eat sour lemon before providing service to their customers. What does CVS management do to their workers that they sooo unhappy and gloomy?! (My experiences specifically is based on the interaction with the young tall man there)

Its not busy. Been standing here 20 minutes waiting for my flu vaccine. 5 reps are in pharmacy. None are answering calls. One is actually helping customers. Get organized people. Dont make people stand around indoors during a pandemic.

The venue leaves a lot to be desired.

This pharmacy said they never received my prescriptions from my physician...on two separate occasions.My physician’s office had the exact date and time the fax was submitted and received.And the pharmacist on duty would not speak to my physician’s office to attempt to sort it out.Seems to be very disorganized and the pharmacists have been discourteous.

Always knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
