This place is my second home ...very helpful and friendly staff if youre a regular you know what I mean

I called marathon home depot because I needed to order a mini fridge for my brother who just moved to marathon from jersey. I tried all day or order it online, I went to my own home depot in jersey and they wouldnt help me. I called and talked to Cynthia in the marathon home depot and she was a customer service God send. She helped me across the board with ordering it and using a gift card and the rest of checking out to make sure it was all properly taken care of and he wouldnt have any issues picking it up with out me.. She was super polite, courteous, professional and made my really irritating day a million times better. Cynthia was an mvp and 10/10 loved her. Shes a gem.

I have been going to Home Depots all over the country for years and this one is just the BEST!! It is well managed. Aisles are clear and organized and the biggest factor that makes this Home Depot so good is the employees. They are all very friendly and helpful. They actually approach you to ask if you need help and they are knowledgeable about their products. Many times they just greet you and say hi.Believe it or not - because of the employees attitude, this big box store has the feel of a small town hardware store. Hats off to the store manager(s) because this all starts at the top.

We took our 1yr old with us this evening to the Marathon Home Depot and we gave her some of the display balloons to avoid a meltdown. The ladies at the checkout were so nice and let us keep them to take home! Made our trip so much easier!!

Amazing, over the top service by your employee Amy to try to help us with our porch blinds. She researched my questions and called me back promptly and offered me several solutions to my problem. What an outstandingemployee!!

This a friendliest Home Depot I ever visited. Some stuff members are especially helpful like for example Frank who helped us in plumbing department.

Employees are the best! Garden center closes at 7, so we were surprised when we arrived at 6:56. Employees stayed to help us with purchase and loading!

Well, I work here so let me explain one important info: if you are ordering: windows, blinds, kitchen cabinets, countertop or any other specialty items, make sure you call before coming to the Store, talk to the sales specialist of that Dept., make an appoint.this way you will get the right employee that was trained on that area, all our aprons are the same but each one of us have the training for a specific Dept.

The place for pretty much every home improvement need. I build homes and remodel full time, the majority of my materials are purchased at Home Depot. There are occasions that I have to use other companies and end up paying higher prices. This place usually has the most competitive pricing.

Very unsanitary. Lots of angery workers. Sad place to be. 😕

This is a smaller Home Depot compared to mainland stores. But still a decent store, selection and people. Prices are the same as the mainland.

Quick in and out. Found what I needed and there were checkouts open..

Tried to buy 24 feet of chain at 2.47 a foot. The cashier was trying to charge for a whole box of 70 feet. I quess that it was a cashier manager tried to explain to me that there were two prices. Correct there is, a whole box and by the foot. Long story short it took four people to figure it out that I was only buying 24 feet. They said sorry and knocked 4 feet off the price for the trouble.

Its okay, the service is great but its alright.

Home Depot is keeping us stocked with all the supplies we need to rebuild! Keys Strong! They even brought in a bus load of orange apron wearing associates to help! Thank you Home Depot Marathon!

I rated two stars for a few of the people who are knowledgeable and helpful. The store is managed very poorly leaving the employees and the customers in confusion. Ive been a builder for many years and when I have to go into the store and operate their computers to get a price on a simple 2 by 4, or make a call when they tell me they are out of a product when in fact I dropped them over the phone were to look and tell me how many of these products they have left. They always leave me with an apology. Im not looking for an apology Im looking for the same professionalism that has ran other stores across the country which I have visited many. And my whole intent here is not to discredit any individuals because I really believe that it has to do with ownership, and how the owners train their people. With that I home Home Depot 100% responsible.On a positive note I will say that the rental department was very helpful and very prompt. One of the best rental stores have gone to.I believe courtesy and taking pride in what you do goes hand-in-hand with running a business in the United States. However by no man should have customer have to spend hours in the store in order to get help or a knowledgeable person. Thank you

Black tall woman who works customer service very rude. She has no customers I ask her to ring one item she refused. If I am the manager I will teach them customer need to be taking care them first. If you have no returns get a another customer.

Some Home Depots are not very helpful, bit I am happy to say that this one has always been great. If I need assistance, I can easily find someone that is knowledgeable and willing to help.

Smallish Home Depot, but it’s the Keys. I actually try to shop at some of the smaller hardware stores in the Keys when possible, but sometimes you just gotta go to a big box store. 🤷

If you are doing a kitchen I highly recommend working with Eliane Caldes. I had the pleasure of working with Elaine on our new kitchen. I have designed and remodeled over 50 kitchens and worked with high end designers and countless home depot kitchen designers. Eliane is top notche, tons of great ideas, very responsive, ands sets clear expectations. She provided better service, better prices, and WAY better communications. We prefer small local shops but they could not match price although very close but more importantly they could not come close to matching Elaines customer service and expertise.

Its nice having a big chain hardware store that an individual is used to from the main land down island. Black Friday deals, products Im familiar with, and keeps somewhat a perspective on the overall pricing of items. Its a Home Depot, whatever corporate has you can get. Still its a box store. There are experts in their field but just a few. I will say if they are not an expert, they are very helpful. Great staff. I just have to give a little shout out to Byron Terrell. Hes in the electrical department and happens to be one of the experts... This man knows his sh*#. Not just electrical, but the whole store. Good man, very helpful, and knowledgeable. Good store, good people, make the stop.

The Home Depot at Marathon, Florida has by far the best customer service I have come across when it comes to Home Depot locations. They might be understaffed from time to time but of course housing is always an issue here in the keys. In spite of this, staff are always attentive and genuinely concerned when you ask for their help. Wish I could see same quality of service at their other Miami locations.

Customer service was awful. I needed to buy a curtain rod and asked for some help bc I did not measure the sliding glass doors, the man I spoke with was annoyed that I asked him for a guesstimate of what size rod I would need. Then spoke to a manager who was unable to right the wrong, but stated he would help and if it didn’t work it could be return(which is what could have happened if I was helped by the employee I first asked). To add onto this while waiting for the manager the dawn soap I bought was spilling out of the cart, which was pointed out to me by the manager and no one(manager and two employees whom I was speaking with) asked me if I wanted to switch it out for a full one.

Today I experienced a nerve recking headache when I lost my phone. While loading my vehicle with merchandise I bought, I left my phone sitting inside the shopping cart. I pushed to its location and got in my vehicle and drove off. My phone was left behind. 30 minutes later I remembered where I left it. Drove back to Home Depot and the first person I asked was the gentleman collecting the carts in the parking lot. His name is Dieuvil Bessy. I ask Mr. Bessy if he by any chance found an I-Phone. He responded yes and where I left it at. I explained, he than ran inside the store and handed it to me. He than verified by calling my lost and found phone. He smiled when it rang and told me it was his pleasure to help.Service and actions like this is very uncommon and unheard of now a-days. But, there is such thing as honestly and good moral values in people out there.Thank you Home Depot Mike and Timfor hiring Mr.Bessy and having him on board.

I would have given a four star if you could get assistance. Would have given a five if it wasnt for a cashier at the service desk named Sandy. She is rude and loves to give her opinions on any returns. Not that her opinion means anything. She should just keep them to herself and do her job.

I cant go a week without needing something from here. I would be lost without them. I have found prices at local shops are just as good as Depots prices but the Depot has an extensive selection of much of what I need. I try to shop local but I am glad Home Depot is there when I need them.

I have never been more insulted in my life then when I went here to buy 50 feet of solid wire and other electrical equipment that I needed for a condo renovation project Im working on. The African-American gentleman who works in electrical did not help me at all. I asked an associate to help me and she said this is not her Department she doesnt know the difference between stranded and solid wire, she said that the one gentleman in electrical would help me she flagged him down he said he was with another customer. I waited 15 minutes for him to be done with these customers who are Price shopping ceiling fans. There was absolutely no help whatsoever. When I went up to him and I said hey do you have any stranded wire around here, goes cant you see Im with other customers. I said can you point me in the direction? His response its over there in electrical. No aisle no shelf nothing....The customer that he was talking to was Price shopping for fans said hey we just bought 10 feet of it its over on there on the back wall third shelf up over on the right. It took a customer to do an employees job! And then I could never get it cut I waited another ten minutes and he still was chit-chatting with these customers. Do your job more efficiently you guys lost the couple a several hundred dollar sale today...

Typical Home Depot like we have in the Midwest. They always had everything I needed no matter what the project. Pricing was the same as what I pay in the Midwest which was nice to see as a hurricane hit the area just months before my visit and Home Depot certainly could have taken advantage of the situation. Clean, organized store. Ample parking and helpful staff.

Awful experience. My 75 year old mother bought a GE dishwasher. It broke within 4 weeks. It has now been out of service for 3 weeks.Home Depot refused to help her in any way. Just “punted” to GE, who has been utterly unhelpful in fixing it.So my mom has been washing dishes by hand since early December.Way to stand by your products Home Depot. I won’t shop there again.

This is the most visited store in Marathon. Like the helping hand at all our repairs boat world or home.

My dad is a disabled veteran and has Parkinsons disease and she was patient and encouraging with him as he was paying for our purchase. Ive been in this store hundreds of times and honestly every employee in there is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. If they dont know they will find you an answer. They really do a good job here.

This isnt the biggest but is the best one ive ever been in. The staff is super helpful and knowledgable. If they dont have something you need theyll get it for you quickly and make sure its right. After Irma they sent staff from all over the country on on their dime to help folks recover and rebuild. Truly an example of community over profits. Cant say enough good things about this store.

Being the only store down in the Key West it should be a lot bigger I dont agree with the constitutional right violation of having to wear a mask to shop in there store masks scientifically do not stop viruses this is a joke they should know their rights and support them for others as well

Its a Home Depot if you are familiar with them youll know the layout of the store. Plenty of free parking. Staff is available to answer most questions and usually are very friendly. They dont have everything but they have a lot. Always like the paint department in Home Depot.

Staff of this store is perhaps one of the friendliest I have ever encountered at a Home Depot. Had many hiccups with orders while doing a renovation, however Michael and Shelley, the store managers, did right by me and made sure everything was taken care of and resolved to my satisfaction. (I have to add that most of the mistakes were due to their vendors and not themselves)Sometimes companies earn the most loyalty when things dont go 100% right but they stand by your side to make sure all is taken care of.Big thanks to Home Depot Marathon, especially Michael and Shelley!!!!

The Store Manager is very knowledgeable and helpful. My Family and I first met Scott right after Hurricane Wilma in Key West at that Home Depot. Scott went over and above to ensure our rebuild efforts. Since then we are thrilled to have him here in Marathon at this home Depot. Always a smile on his face and kindness in his heart. What a difference he and his employees make in our interaction in a most difficult field of Restoration/Remodel in the Florida Keys. Thanks for everything you do Scott and for your store employees in the job they do each and everyday!!!

Great store! Went to buy a new ceiling fan and they were on sale. $40 and led lighting was a plus also has a great landscaping addition with many varieties.

This is a midsized home depot. Nice thing is if it is not in stock, you can order. I usually check online to see if what I need is in stock. If it is not in stock, I order it and wait for a text to tell me to come pick it up.
