Very happy with purchase, went to buy 2 bougainvilleas and found exactly what I was looking for. I wanted the purple & orange variety and he had what I was looking for. He also showed me many other plants for my new home that were sun tolerate for me to consider. Will definitely be back Doug was very helpful

Very nice selection of southwestern desert plants and trees. Found a nice healthy Bird of Paradise which is why we went to Acacia Nursery.

This is a great local family owned business! Very personal and professional people! I would recommend them to anyone. Ive had a lot of work done by them and everything was textbook perfect! There workers show up on time and were very respectful of our property,and they also have great pricing.

What a Wonderful place to go and see so many plants. Kevin gave me a run down of their selection of trees and how tall they would get. Found some great plants for our backyard planters.

The nursery is very nice but very busy. They need to have more help on hand. We live close so we sometimes leave and return another day. Weekends are really busy but only one sales person is available for assistance. I have made a lot of purchases from them and everything has done well.

Melinda was super helpful and knowledgeable. I knew where I needed to plant, but no idea what to plant. She showed me some options and I was able to purchase exactly what I needed. The nursery was full of quality and clearly handpicked for being in tune with the desert clime we live in. I cant wait to get these babies all planted!

What a great local treasure hidden off Tangerine! Doug and Ken were awesome to talk to, very knowledgeable and helpful in getting just what my wife wanted. They had a tough to find Mexican Red Bud tree and were very reasonable in their installation fee. Very happy to come back and do business with them again.

Acacia Nursery was a really fun place to shop. We were greeted immediately by Doug, the owner. He is a wealth of information on all kinds of plants, succulents & cacti, particularly saguaros, and he enjoys sharing it. It is obvious that he loves working with plants and people and he takes pride in his nursery. We are eager to return to Acacia Nursery for all our gardening needs.

Purchased three Arizona Willows and Ken was very helpful explaining which trees grow quickly and are drought tolerant. Just moved to Arizona and he took the time to answer questions about caring for succulents and palm trees even though we were not purchasing any at this time. Nursery is very well laid out and beautiful. Prices were a little higher than other nurseries but the service and selection made up for it. Will be returning when needing trees or plants.

Purchased a 9-ft saguaro and couldn’t be happier. Price was great with a good selection of cactus. Doug, the owner, knows his stuff and will walk you through everything you need to know about selecting a saguaro. A friendly, professional and meticulous crew planted this beast and it looks fantastic. A great “add” to our front yard landscaping. We have purchased other plants from Acacia Nursery and have been pleased each time....actually thinking about a second saguaro! 5-stars to this family-owned business.

Wonderful professional crew! Knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly when choosing and installing my plants and irrigation. They were able to answer all my questions and helped me to create the yard exactly how I wanted. They worked very fast in the desert heat and digging up the hard soil. I am extremely happy with my experience.

We have been purchasing lots of Cacti over the last year at Acacia. All my plants are alive and doing great. Just waiting this because we are going back for another purchase. Great place, with great service.

Purchased a 4ft. Sagauro at $75.00 a foot! Average rate is $100.00 ft. Also, Owner is an excellent plant Dr. (my opinion) I showed him a pic of 3 cacti I was having trouble with. His diagnoses was correct. I knew 2 were infected & not because lack of water as I had been told. Nice inventory and reasonably priced!

This business was fantastic. Recommend making first visit in person. Owner and staff are happy to discuss plans, plant-specific needs, and give wonderful recommendations based on your yard goals. I bought multiple trees and purchased the install option, which meant they’d come and plant and install drip for you...and it’s perfect. I had purchased the trees and had to cancel installment 3 times due to contractor delays for another business and Acacia was pleasant and patient while we worked out a schedule. Kept my plants happy and now they’re growing beautifully. Couldn’t be happier.

Our second experience was just as good as the first. We purchased a large decorative pot and it was delivered and placed in our yard with care and professionalism. Excellent customer service and prices. A must try place!

My wife and I visited this Nursery and within one week we had a 15 foot saguaro in front of our home. The owner was very nice, and though we visited his business close to closing, he was very patient and gave us a great deal on a beautiful saguaro and plants. The designers that planted our new plants were very friendly and made sure I was happy with the results. We will be back in the near future to have our back yard done. I am very happy with the excellent service and great prices.

I went looking for fruit trees, and was helped by a lovely young man who seemed very knowledgeable about the trees. I was very happy with attention to details that this young guy new about. All in all I had a good discount and found there prices to fair. i was very pleased with my purchases and would be back for more trees. The cacti that i looked at where all nicely trimmed. The nursery was well groomed and i would come back and buy again.

Bought two trees from this nursery two weeks ago and also a saguaro cactus. I brought the smaller tree home with me and scheduled the larger for delivery. When I bought the plants (on a Saturday), the guy that sold them to us said someone would call to schedule delivery on Monday, but it wouldnt take long for delivery. No one called on Monday. I called on Tuesday and left a message. No one returned my call. My wife called and finally got a response a couple days later. They initially said they couldnt deliver plants until sometime in July!!!!! After reminding them this long lead time was exactly the opposite of what was discussed at the time of sale, the lady on the phone finally agreed to a delivery date about a week after the sale. They only delivered the large tree, and that was delivered by a small woman who had a hard time moving it. She dropped the tree in its container from her truck bed to the street, which I hope didnt damage the tree. I planted it, but I noticed the trunk of the tree is cracked near the base. We had an even harder time with the saguaro. We bought it from one of the employees named Daniel. He said hed call within a day or two to schedule a delivery and planting, as he needed to plant it to orient it correctly with respect to the sun. He never called. We called and left numerous messages. My wife got in touch with him finally, and he told her to mark the place we wanted it planted with tape so he could come by and plant it even if we werent home. My wife did just that and put a big blue X on the ground in tape. He never came and planted the tree. We called back and left several more messages, none of which were returned. Two weeks later, I gave up calling and drove to the nursery. Daniel was there and made all sorts of excuses why he didnt call, changing stories so much he couldnt keep them straight. I demanded he either deliver and plant the tree that day or give me a refund. He said hed deliver it that day. He finally showed up, but an hour late. This nursery has the WORST customer service of any business Ive ever dealt with. I will never do business with them again. They seem to not understand how to return a phone call or follow through on sales.

My wife and I were looking for some cactus for our yard and visited Acacia Nursery. We were greeted by Doug and Melinda, the current owners. We told them what we wanted. They could not have been more helpful and didnt try to oversell us. Their attitudes and facility showed that they were proud of their operation and for good reason.We order some plants and two days later two young men came to our home to deliver and install the plants. They could not have been more courteous, professional and conscientious. I own my own company and realize how important trust and customer service is. These people have it all and I would recommend them with no reservation.

Tim at Acacia Nursery was so friendly and helpful. I had questions regarding bugs on my citrus trees and he helped me out, taking time to understand what I was talking about and explaining why it may not even be an issue. He could have easily sold me an expensive spray or something, but didnt. I love this nursery, and Tims help just reminded me why its so important to shop local and small.

Great local nursery! I just bought a large standard orange tree and a grapefruit tree. The owner was very nice and super knowledgable. We got a great deal and received fantastic service. We are planning to go back again very soon to make our next purchase!

I called to get some advice about a flowering cactus i have in my backyard. its was getting crowded by another cactus planted in the same area. Not only did they offer help and guidance over the phone, they came out within 2 hours of calling and pruned and transplanted the cactus for a nominal fee. just have to say thanks for all of your help

Amazing place

As an ex employee and subcontractor I believe all the 5 star reviews were fabricated or coerced into writing a great review, I was asked and refused to do so, for the fact that it just isnt the truth, The nursery is failing, has minimal inventory that is overpriced and I would question if the cactus were legally obtained.for sale. The owner Tim Widger has made his money from overpricing, over-billing the developers of Dove Mountain and shady deals. Also paying his employees far below avg. wages or no pay at all to subcontractors with threats of retaliation. Avoid this nursery like the plague, buy at home depot or anywhere else. Thats where he gets them and just increases the price with the facade of saying there a small family business that grows all their own plants. what a joke. He needs to be stopped from being in business any longer, and pay the people he has done wrong to.

When I walked into acacia nursery, not only was the place well presented, the staff was very attentive. I was greated right away. I had questions on cacti and citrus trees. I was greated with well you came to the right place their vast variety of citrus and cati helped me pick the best plants that I wanted, not just what they had available like most places. While talking I was informed that I was talking with the owner or Tortolitta landscaping as well, who is now set to view my yard to do some brick work. They are open 7 days a week, and have a very knowledgeable staff. I would recommend anyone who needs any plant or landscaping needs, definitely come to acacia nursery first.
