Brought my 2021 KTM Duke in for its first service. Tom was the technician that did the service. He did an amazing job! Bike is riding better than when brand new. Brakes are tighter, tires are inflated perfectly and all updates were done to the information screen…. Time, service interval and shift warning. Couldn’t be happier.Jeff - Powell, OH
Sold my bike to them, easiest experience ever awesome service
If you are interested in customer service, don’t go here. I have been inside their business 3 times and once I left after 30 minutes because I couldn’t get anyone to help me. The other 2 I had to go get someone. The only reason that I went back was because I was given a gift certificate to their business. I ordered a part and was told it would be in 2 days later and they would call me to let me know. After multiple calls to them the following week which they never answered or returned, I finally drove 20 miles to their business. My part had been in for several days yet they hadn’t called. They just don’t seem to understand what customer service is about
Joe made me a hot chocolate! Nice experience
Got a lot of good parts and stuff lot of good upgrades for your dirt bikes quads razors and so forth
Iron Pony has a reputation of excellence in customer service and an impressive power sports inventory. Mansfield exemplifies this service. I had recently sold my daily motorcycle and decided to get something a bit more speedy. I found the perfect bike at the Mansfield location and stopped in to check it out. Even though it was a very busy day at their location, the manager greeted me very quickly. A test ride was arranged and several days later I was riding my new to me gsx-r off their lot.The experience at Iron Pony was seamless and I always felt that they had my best interests in mind. I want to thank the service, parts and sales team out there as well as management! They offer the best experience you can find!
Irony pony great place for needed items for dirt bike.
Went in looking for an ATV and found one I wanted to purchase. Price was 7,500 out the door. I called valley ATV to compare prices and the exact same quad was 6,800. I asked the salesman at Pony to match valleys and he said yes they would. Later I called in to pay cash for the atv and the manager got on the phone and said they would not sell it to me for 6,800 so they wasted my time and my energy. Valley on the other hand was great and even saved me 10% because they asked me if I was a medical worker.
Didnt have what I needed (3rd time). Stood at the service counter for a couple minutes while the staff had a fun little conversation about lunch before I got the obligatory hep ya?. Long gone are the days of courteous, helpful service.
Went in for bike cleaner/polish.. I had great help from employee, chosing the right one
Just went in with my son looking around. Seen alot of nice newer bike good prices ..
Made contact on a motorcycle they had for sale and also asked about a trade in. Joe was so responsive and helpful it was amazing. I live 8 hours away from there so we had to iron out everything over the phone and email. Joe was so responsive I thought he must be a bored salesman but when I show up hes a manager that was constantly being bugged while I was there. He gave me exactly what he said he would on my trade in and the bike I bought was amazing. I will drive another 8 hours just to do business with him on my next bike purchase. Just a great guy, so helpful.
Great place for all cycle needs!!! Tons of parts in stock!!!
Tried to buy a bike here, they told me it was new. I got there and it was used, had 2300 miles on it and they were asking over MSRP. Its still on their website listed as new.
I found that they had a newer/used atv that I was interested in, called and got a salesman named Treston . He assured me that the bike was clean and had been ran thru their service department. I also wanted a snow plow with mount and frame. He stated he had all of that in stock. Got pre approved, drove two hours there and should have left immediately. Tresten searched for a part of the snow plow frame he had told me he had... never found it. I had to ask him about it. Promised me it was in the building just that he would have to find and ship it to me within the week. Never happened. He did give me a helmet and bag since the bike was not as clean as has been stated. Against my better judgment I went ahead with the purchase. Drove two hours home pulled the bike in the garage to grease and service it/ antifreeze leak. Water pump seal out. Pulled skid plate to inspect leak, mud packed around oil filter. None of the grease fittings had been touched. Call them, get Joe the manager on the phone was going to ask him for a break on parts prices but before I could he offered to come get it in two days and expedite it ( his words) thru the shop. I wait four days after hearing nothing and call. Talk to Randy in service he said it hadn’t been looked at and Joe didn’t tell him anything about it being “expedited “. I get a message two days later stating they had ordered a water pump assembly, there is no such part thru Polaris it is ordered in individual pieces and parts...Call Joe to find out what’s going on he passes me to Randy passes me back to Joe even talked to Tresten... frames still not found....this is two weeks in.... at almost the three week mark I get an update from Joe that some of the parts were delivered ( thought you ordered an assembly??) and saidThat he would update me at a later date... had to ask what didn’t get delivered, was something back ordered, he said gasket.(still two weeks out) would have been much better to just be honest with me from the beginning.. two emails later he stated that the gasket AND seals were back ordered . At this point I’m done with all of them . Just deliver the bike back to me and I’ll do the job myself (parts ordered online, two day delivery) horrible customer service, google is making me be very generous with a one star rating ! The only way this could’ve been worse is if I wasn’t capable of doing the work myself. Never would I ever recommend anyone go here for any reason!
Very helpful and fully stocked.
Took them over a month to even look at my UTV. Another 2 months to complete repairs. Also did an oil change and new battery, both of which were not needed. If you have plenty of time and money you want to waste this is your kind of place !!
Found a helmet and jacket same day, highly recommend!
Good staff. Just really busy with covid out there.
I can’t say enough about the great experiences we have had with Pony Powersports. We are a family of riders and appreciate how engaged the pony staff is in their commitment to providing the A+ customer experience. Today was our first visit to the Mansfield location and GM Joe and staff were no different. Totally worth the trip from Columbus to purchase our new KTM!
That have lots of cool bikes and other stuff that you can get
Went to Iron Pony in Mansfield looking for a Polaris Ranger. I had seen several good deals online from dealerships in Columbus, Cleveland etc, but wanted to spend my money locally. I walked around the store for 20 minutes looking at different rangers and UTVs. Walked by 3 different salesman several times who were not busy, and they never even greeted me. Though they did greet another guy near me who was wearing a motorcycle jacket. As much as I would like to spend my money locally, I will be going to a bigger city to buy a UTV. I will never go back to Iron Pony in Mansfield.
I purchased my used 2016 Rancher at Pony in 2018. Fantastic machine. Over the weekend I wrecked it. I called Pony. They said. We will come pick it up Wednesday and take care of it and deal with insurance company. I couldnt have asked for better service. You guys continue to earn my future business.
They never answer their phone and their snobby and theyre not very smart behind the parts counter, I would not advise even visiting them
Great service. Puck up a klx110rl for my son and Joe help alot.
First time I’ve ordered from them & it will be the last
Went in the other day to buy tires for the harley and have them installed. The price was fantastic and the service folks where very friendly and fast. But when I got the bike home theres a two inch round dent in my side cover that wasnt there before. Just had the side cover off the day before to install an alarm Siren, and there was no blemishes. With the amount of money I saved having my tires serviced there, I would have not really cared about the dent if theyd have just been forthright and let me know. Maybe with a small discount on future service work, which I would have had done there, would have been more than good enough for me. But they didnt tell me about the dent, so I wouldnt recommend this place if you love your scooter.
They made it right.
Stopped in there today around 11 AM to browse KTM motorcycles for a future purchase. No one greeted us. Honestly, Im not sure anyone was even there. Luckily, Im an honest person or I could have probably rolled one out the front door.
Terrible customer service
I just went through the hassle of filling out financing information and called in to ask a few questions about form and the kid I talked to was very smug and had no inclination to help me. My bad for trying to spend 8500 bucks at your shop. Unreal. Ill take my business elsewhere. Kid didnt even know what I was talking about when I was reading directly from form yet said he was the one who submits the forms? No way am I gonna trust that.
Nice selection of new and used bike plus no pressure from saleman!
Couldnt get anybody to talk to us, but they went right over to the people who came in after us. Missed a customer w money. We drove over an hour to go there.
No one in the showroom to ask questions. Was there for 15 to 20 minutes. No help
The people were very helpful in my selection of what bike I wanted and one that would suit me best. They explained everything thoroughly and In a way I understood. The day I went to buy the bike they specifically tried to find the one for me since they were all sold out.Very nice place definitely recommend.
I bought my 2020 Kawasaki Z125 from here. Joe was extremely helpful with any and all questions I had, and the rest of the staff was very courteous, I will definitely buy more bikes from them in the future.
Called in to get new rings and gaskets installed and they said we do that by the Sesone it shouldent go buy Sesone it should go buy it needs fixed then fix it thats your job
I recently traveled from WV and purchased a used Goldwing, great staff, friendly, great experience. Bike is running strong.
Was impressed by there inventory for a small town. Employees were great to offer help.
Went to look at bikes and parts...had a wonderful experience with their sales people and manager, VERY competitive prices and ONLY 1 doc fee...no other hidden fees or other charges! Their parts staff is nice and friendly and have the same awesome prices as the Columbus store! Got some nice tips from their service department to get my bike out of storage and things to check on! GREAT DEALERSHIP for the area! WAY TO GO IRON PONY!!!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Who dont constantly try to sell you things. Pretty layed back, organized and clean
Awesome place
Love going here on free time and great people
The staff is very friendly and helpful
Work done in very reasonable time. Labor $90.00 HR. You have to purchase tires from them to have tires put on. But will price match! Found one bad bearing on rear wheel and only charged half on Labor since wheel was already off for tire change. Nice to know they can be trusted!
Took my Polaris Sportsman in for a recall. Staff was friendly and helpful. Took a friends Sportsman in at the same time for some warranty work which took 2 weeks to complete. Communication could have been a little better but work they did was good. Would use their services again.
Just bought my first new bike from here. They were easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. Great place to buy a bike from.
Good prices, but the online selection is better than the store. Dont bother trying to find some sizes unless you are XXS or some oddball size. Columbus gets all the selection.
The staff are extremely nice and professional. Applied for a small loan through threm two separate times and got denied. (735 credit score, paying on student loans 8 years). Second time was with a co-signer and still was denied. Other than that this place was great.
This is a dream place to motorcycle lovers, all kind of accessories, wide variety of brands and models. A new guy that work in sales, Daniel, treat me really good, extremely professional, took all the time and answer all my questions. I definitely will come back any time needed.
I work on my own older bikes. Had to order parts. At least location not far away to be able to get parts. Non Harley
Ok. Never been there. Only made phone call and they did not have what I wanted but seemed nice enough.
It would be great if I could ride every bike in the showroom. The sales and service staff are knowledgeable and courteous. If you are looking for a great ride, go check out their enventory.
They act as though its a bother for them to do anything for you. Basically feel you have to beg them to take your money because they could care less!!! Will not be wasting anymore of my time going here. I will drive to Cleveland or Columbus.
Stopped in for a quick visit. Always clean, with friendly service...
Great prices but horrible selection on helmets only small x small and xx large
I had my Kawasaki VN750 carburetors rebuilt about a year ago and they are already leaking! The choke never did work properly after having them service the carbs, the mechanic said I should replace the throttle cables when I went to pick it up. I think he bent them while working on the bike. There was nothing wrong with them when I took it in. The bike only has 2,500 miles on it, no way the cables were bad.I called today and they said theres nothing they can do about it...6 month warranty on service work. What a waste of time and money...$250 just to having to take it somewhere to have it done right.I would not recommend this service shop for any repairs especially carburetor rebuilds!!
Took 4 wheeler in and they were going to charge almost 2k at pony to fix plus they charged over$100 to diagnose took to another shop and cost $300 for parts and labor. Was told it needed a lot of parts but it only needed 2. Will not use them again. Consumer watch who you deal with it may cost you your savings just saying .
Im used to Iron Pony and this store was about an 1/8 that size, but customer service was excellent!
Grason the salesman was very helpful and polite the rest of the staff wasent so friendly like having a store close to home i hope the customer service improves we will see
Sells men took great deal of time with us an answered all are questions
Good place but takes awhile to get work done...
Hey, just a heads up, if you have a older bike these guys have no clue what the heck they are talking about. twice now I have called about getting work done on a 1997 Suzuki intruder, they actually told me they its hard to get parts for this bike because of its age ( its not hard at all every part is available through any Suzuki dealer ) then they tell me I will have to pull the carbs of for them to rebuild them..... uh Im not a motorcycle tech and thats why I called them because they are suppose to be the motorcycle tech. so in my experience these guys just dont want the work or just dont know how to do the work either way your better of taking your bike somewhere else
Had a part ordered for my motorcycle that came in sooner than expected. The part was installed quickly and well done. I highly recommend them to anyone needing service/repairs and/or looking to buy a motorcycle. Will be returning for any service in the future!
Im the Mansfield and the Columbus area this is the only place to go. Buying a tire and rear tube was more than 150 dollars cheaper than another local place. I was in and out of there in less than 40 minutes. I would defdinatly refer anybody to go there. I was also surprised at the cost of some of the new bikes on the dealer floor and nearly all of the used bikes. These guys know what they are doing.
Not alot of helmet size selection
Great shop and customer service huge selection of motorcycles and quads
Place is awesome. Great prices.
So much of a selection to choose from!
I like that place everybody so helpful and you can look at the motorcycles without anybody aggravate
Has everything you need and the prices are very reasonable !
The service was good and the salespeople were very helpful.
Nice show room, but the young sales staff limited smart mouthed knowledge.
Called to get an appointment for an oil change and the dude on the phone didnt know what a Yamaha MT-07 was. Asked me if it was a scooter. Ill just stick to the Columbus Ironpony.
Very reasonable on rates! Friendly employees!
Showroom was very crampt you couldnt even sit on a dirt bike it was so tight in there. Didnt get the feeling they really wanted to sell bikes either.
On the corner of Ashland Road and 6th Avenue, Pony Powersports has a good selection of Hondas, Suzukis, and other bikes and 4 wheelers. They also have well trained mechanics to keep those bikes in good condition.
Was not very impressed went in to see about getting qualified and would not even run me because my son was only 3. So sale is going else where!
Great place to find all gear.
Picking up parts. Gentleman was polite and very helpful.
Great experience Gert customer service very happy with my shopping experience today
Small shop is packed with new and used motorcycles. Big collection of gear and accesories. Well lite and well organized. Sell KTM, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki.
Mccunes cycle world is a wonderful bike shop. If they dont have the parts I need they are always right there to order them as soon as possible for me. And they always give the best oponion on what brands of 2 cycle oil to run in my bike and what spark plugs and gasoline. Every time I go it is a wonderful experience
Small but very friendly and helpful!
Its OK....a lot of nice off road KTMs
Great place with friendly and helpful staff!
Very nice selection of bikes and quads
They are very helpful and know what they are doing!!!! Thank you for great service !!!! And a great selection of bikes and accessories too!!!
Employees in entire store thanks, great customer service.
Knowledgeable staff about what I was purchasing. Great customer service.
Found the problem withy bike quickly and didnt try to add imaginary problems
Horriable place to go! Me and my husband have spent over 30000 dollars there and you get treatedg like it doesnt matter. We sent our Honda Shadow motor cycle in and range atv. We was told it will be looked at by the end of the week and should get it back with in 2 weeks. We got it back a month later. There was zero communication the hole time. We keep calling in and we keep getting the run around. No one cared to answer questions and everyone just wanted to pass us off to someone else. We were giving prices in the beginning that we said it was fine to do. But when we get it back it was double the price we was told. We got it picked up to do a tune up on our 2yr old atv and one back tire on our motorcycle. They put 2 tires on and did turn up. We were told the total would be around $600 and it ended up being almost $1000. The day we was supposed to get it back they were supposed to call us to do payment over phone and they never did. So we called them and they didnt even have us on the schedule. Lucky the sale manager brought it to us. We did a complaint while they still had it and no one ever called us back. Very unorganized and needs new management. I will never go back and will never go to the one in columbus also. No thanks
This is Part 1 of my review.....new customer, first choice since moving up from Texas(where riding is year round and your mech becomes your friend). Yall have been awesome. Christian has been very good with communication and keeping me up to date on my Gen 2 Hayabusa. Parts took a little while to get....weather and the season helped with that. I look forward to hearing her, riding her, and completing this review as well. Expect another 5 stars and Ill for sure check out your shop in person once good riding weather hits. Thanks for everything folks.Part 2....😑 so, got my Hayabusa back, 4 weeks later. Covered in oil residue/finger prints, fairings(right side arent mounted all the way), metal guard on the right side of the headlight isnt seated right and 1/2 inch out of place, and when I tried to adjust my fairing, one of the plastic mounts broke. Bike was picked up and worked on at 100% cosmetically. Came back to me in worse condition. Not pleased.Part 3......glad to say that these guys are still taking care of me and the Busa. I gotta say the customer service is second to none and if mistakes are made these guys go above and beyond to correct them. Honestly wish we had this kind of service from brand stores in Texas. Thanks guys. Seriously. I was perturbed before, but you all really are some of the best.
Yep, got a helmet! Nice staff...
Great help to me thanks
My 16 year old son took the rear wheel to his pit bike in to see if they could change the tube. He was told that store policy is to only change the tire and tube, the tire would be another $30 so it will be around $40. He wanted his pit bike for a race this weekend so he went ahead and told them to change it. After the work was complete and he went to pay they told him that there was about $20 in service fees. Completely understandable but to a 16 year old that has never taken something to a bike shop it was a surprise. Everywhere you go these days you sign an estimate first, even an oil change! Iron Pony should really institute this process to save confusion. Very disappointed in their customer service.
Just was there an hour ago very fast and courteous service will go back again for sure
What a joke. I call and get a price and a part number on a part and when I call back 2 days later the price doubles and I get a line of bs and they won’t honor the price quoted. Their website shows $70 for the part and was quoted $70 then when I go to order it’s $143. I refuse to deal with them again!
