Poor service, several times meat are bad and I don’t like to complain but yesterday Saturday the chicharrón was bad, went out of town and called to let the then know about it and the cashier was rude, I told him I was going back the next day and when my husband went back to return it they only gave him partial of amount paid, we should get our full money back, we couldn’t even eat it and we bring back almost all of it, I paid almost 16 and we only got 11. Not big of a difference but if I call health department that will be bad for the store!I don’t want to recommend the place knowing there is no good customer service and chances of people get sick from food poisoning

For a small Mexican grocery store, they have everything needed for an excellent meal. The beef fajita meat is outstanding! I always buy extra!

The people working the registers need to know the difference between someone that has really low blood pressure versus someone on drugs. I hadnt taken my blood pressure medicine My blood pressure was real low and the girl working the register took my license plate number and called CPS and told him I was on drugs. Thanks for putting your nose where it didnt belong.

This is the only Mexican store in my neighborhood,I really like this place,people is nice and the products are so great,with a lot of variety,like it❤

I was looking for churros and cactus and I found them both there.

Had 5 items. Somehow the meat didn’t make it into the bag. Called and was told the couldn’t do a refund to my card. My only option was to drive 40 minutes to get my food or my money. No apology. No effort to make it right. I’ll take my business elsewhere. And the tablitas were frozen. So you get the 1/2 pound of moisture that wouldn’t be there if they were thawed. Rip off.Best of all. Their covid sanitation consists of wiping the counter with Windex between customers. That’s so hilarious just smearing around germs. At least get the fabuloso out. SMH

Felt uncomfortable, will not go back. I wanted a tamale plate so I could try the tamales before ordering several dozen. No, you have to buy an entire dozen. I assure you, if they would open a dozen they would go quickly during the lunch rush. Lady behind the counter didn’t speak any English and nothing was labeled! I had no idea what anything was. I have read all the reviews about how nice and helpful all the employees are and that they are bilingual??? Not my experience, went around the corner to Guadalajara restaurant and was greeting in English, got my tamale plate and ordered several dozen for Christmas. Always a good experience there. My husband is Hispanic and speaks limited Spanish and warned me about going to the Carniceria....he was right! Never again. Sweet bread is subpar. Marques bakery in Arlington has much better!

Great marinated meat or should I say the best in Mansfield TX, yes is small but it does offer that unmistakable atmosphere of a mexican carniceria(meat market) plus more, the flour tortillas that are made in there are quite simple the best in town or the whole metroplex for that matter, the produce section is not high on my list but it does offer the basics, other than that, it will probably go down in the history of Mansfield TX as the best mexican carniceria in town.

As Daphne says below, after being a long time customer, I accidentally left a bag of items. Went back immediately and all they said was cant help you, see the sign? Not responsible. Rather than try and remedy the problem, they talked behind my back in Spanish like I didnt know what they were saying because Im white. I got it all and will NEVER STEP FOOT in this place again. Horrible customer service by a couple of kids.

They have the best conchas! Their Mexican bread is so good. They have a nice little selection of Mexico items and meat. They have a small restaurant inside too. It is always busy at this store. There is a great demand for their products in this area. Everyone is always very nice too.

I can’t complaint about the meat, it’s very fresh. However, besides some items being overly charged I notice they’re selling items that are expired. I was there Thursday to buy tortillas and today as I used them realized they were Best Buy yesterday’s date. Tortillas are stale now. Didn’t realize it. Once before I noticed the tostada bags were oily and old looking and noticed the expiration date was wiped out. I brought it up to the cashier and hoped for the best since it’s easy to pick up something quirky from here. However, I am disappointed. Please check expiration dates before purchasing!!!

Everyone that works here is very nice. The butcher and cashier were great and I felt very comfortable here. The quality of the meat was A1 and I greatly enjoyed eating it. Will definitely come back anytime I visit Mansfield

This was my first time there. My son told me about it. Service was fantastic! I wish I were bilingual but they speak English and Spanish which made it even nicer for me.

I will give it 2 stars because it is convenient if you need to find some spices for your Mexican dishes, but this place has very poor quality meats. You would expect to get some really nice cuts when youre paying 8 dollars a pound for fajitas. Whatever they are using to marinate the meat just dries it out. I would definitely go to another meat market

Delicious Menudo on Sunday mornings (if you can get it before its sold out), and amazing cuts of meat for your weekend barbeque. Their salsas, fresh pico de gallo, and hot tortillas are always on point. Love the easy way the staff can switch from English to Spanish, depending on who theyre serving.

Only Mexican store in the area of Mansfield so you know that they take advantage of that by the high prices. If you can, just go to the Michoacana or Monterrey el Rancho even better for prices and freshness in the produce.

I love the Pan dulce! Always fresh and tasty. Carnitas, chicharrones and barbacoa are delicious, as well. Some of the produce and other products are priced high. But I just got for the Pan dulce, barbacoa, carnitas, & chicharrones. Other than that the staff is helpful. The bread is good. Cakes good.

I went there solely to buy cow cheek meat (called Cachete) which is what makes the best Barbacoa Street Tacos. Some people say cow tongue (called Lengua) but I think its a little too soft almost mushy. You can get Cachete for $3.47/lb and is available Tuesday thru Saturday. For $8, of cheek meat and 8 hours in the crock pot, you can make a bunch of tacos that cost almost 2 dollars each at most Taquerias. Dont forget to buy tortillas, limes, onions, cilantro and your favorite salsa. This Carniceria is also a Store and a Great FAST Food restaurant to get tacos, medudo, caldo de res etc.
