AFT charges a 25% restocking fee even if you return the items promptly and unopened. This disclaimer is buried at the bottom of the order confirmation AFTER you placed your order. I guess thats where the name AFT come from. Ill not be ordering from this company again.

BEWARE of AFT Fasteners! This organization advertised products, made (inaccurate) claims regarding the products availability, accepted my order(s) for the products on back-order, claimed to not have the products after the time specified, did not make contact with me to let me know that I would not be receiving my products, offered to cancel my orders for the products (infering that I will receive a refund), then -- they keep my money!I had to file a complaint with my bank to get the funds back from a debit card purchase (nearly $700), and I am in the midst of the same process with my bank about a purchase utilizing my credit card (nearly $800). Additionally, I made contact with their accounting department utilizing an email address from their website and was promised a refund via a check mailed to me -- since it was claimed my credit card information was no longer available for a credit. However, its now been two-weeks and I have not received the check!Now, they have an active complaint on file (by me) with the Texas Attorney Generals Office. I encourage anyone to file a complaint like I did if its warranted -- sometimes it helps (I once received restitution for a complaint filed in IL over something similar to this).I am not a lawyer, but its my understanding that charges for theft of nearly $1,500 is a Felony (i.e. Grand Theft in the Third Degree for valuation between $500 and $50,000) for an individual -- but we all know that a Corporation is NOT a person -- so no need to worry about that.WARNING: If you value your time and money, DO NOT even consider doing business with this establishment. As I have presented my matter, its clearly more than (very) bad customer service; its witholding (i.e. theft) of funds paid for products that were never made available or delivered -- though I waited eight-months for the back-order to arrive before finally giving up and cancelling my orders.

Ordering was easy and my orders usually ship the same day. Customer service was friendly and helpful and always gave me my tracking number to track my order.

A young lady at reception named carrie (sorry if i spelled it wrong) answered my call. she had to be the most friendly and sweet receptionist ive ever spoken to. she seemed so nice and genuine i couldnt stop smiling! Ive never personally done business with AFT but when the time comes i will certainly remember how i was treated when i called in.

Sales person who took my call was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products I was inquiring about. My quote was provided within minutes and when I placed the order, my screws, bolts and nuts were all exactly as anticipated. The plating was excellent. I will use this supplier again.

Eventhough they did not have the item I was needing, I appreciated the time they took to search. Everyone was extremely helpful, polite and serving minded.

Ordered 2 smoke alarms exactly like the picture on the website and got the wrong items. Beware of the disclaimer saying that the items may be different than whats described. Pure buyer deception and they didnt even pay for my return shipping of product. Very dissatisfied. I wish they would apologize and try to compromise. I do not recommend.

So I purchase barbed staples, they sent the wrong staplesWhen contacted AFT they gave me the run aroundFinally this was their response for sending the wrong productThey are trying to tell me that the tip of the staple is the barbed on it ....Avoid using this company they wasted my time and moneyHiI’m sorry to inform you that Michael is no longer with us, but I will try to help resolve your issue with your order.I have contacted our supplier about this item and was told that these staples can come either smooth or barbed and they have no say in what is sent out by the factory. I have looked at other factories also and have been unable to find barbed fence staples in this size. From what I understand, however, the tips are considered barbed tips.Thank you,Kristin

AFT does not pay its suppliers. Do not sell to them on credit.

The ladies that I talk with about my orders are great to deal with! They know what they’re talking about and go above and beyond to help! Orders ship out in reasonable time frames and if ever there is a problem, I know it will be handled.

Great people to deal with and everyone one needs to understand with this situation everything ship..s slower. I will buy from them again.

We had a good initial order experience with them, and the second order was an utter disaster with salespeople too busy to do anything to help. I can only hope that communication opens up and mistakes corrected so I may change the review.Meanwhile I have to agree with the other reviewers that you take your chances. The one good order does not make up for the wasted time and expensive lesson learned by the second order.

Description of item is exactly what the picture showed when I ordered. 2 months later when I actually cut into the boxes they turned out to be the wrong item. I can not believe they wouldnt take the screws back. Now I am stuck with $150 worth of screws I cant use and these guys could sell again. This company wont (or shouldnt) stay around very long. Order elsewhere.

My online order shipped immediately and arrived the next day.
