Family Dollar Matlock In Arlington never has anything. Shelves are always empty. Manager needs to be replaced or whoever is in charge of inventory. Covid can not be an excuse for everything people. Plenty of decorations to make the store look good but what’s the point if you can’t find anything. We will be visiting Walmart or Target for hopes of a bigger and better selection.

This location on mansfield hwy needs some tlc everytime I go in there the cashier be so rude act as if they dont want to be at work on they cell phone listen to there music a mess all over ... they choose when they want to open and close clear as day it say they close at 10:00 pm but it 9:18 and they hollering they close air has not work all summer like wth this is getting to the point I rather go to the one in mansfield TX at least I will get some good customer service skills

The store upgrades and reorganizing is awesome. More products on the shelves including name brand merchandise much lower than grocery stores. I commend this store on such an amazing job.

Had everything I needed. Its the day before Thanksgiving and the cashiers were amazing. Big shout out to Brandon the cashier friendly and fast at check out.

The clerks were busy, but friendly & the store was well organized.

They have the necessities. Plus, they hsve these Jamaican meat patties in the freezer section that I look too. Theyre a good snack.

Cheap stuff to get but the prices of drinks are kinda weird a 12 oz could be 2 dollars while a two liter is 1.25

Awesome place to find good deals. Employees are very helpful and nice. Older gentleman who checked me out at the register about 11am today was very kind and helped me out to my car with my potting soil. Thanks for having a great staff, will always be a customer. 🙂

Nice sized Family Dollar. More variety of items than the smaller stores. Clean bathroom, friendly cashier. The only other thing important to mention is that it does not have a baby changing station at this time. That is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Store super clean the staff was kinda rude but a good visit

I give it three stars because it is clean and good location but one cashier in particular must have bad days when she’s at work because she’s not very friendly. Example: I went in last week and there was a young man ahead of me she was checking out and was all laughing and giggling with him. When I stepped up, I said hello and she just ignored me. Okay I’m thinking maybe she didn’t hear me. So after she handed me my receipt, I said “thank you” and she still didn’t say a word. So then I said “have a nice day” and she finally said “you too”. I don’t know her so I don’t know what that was all about but I guess because I’m not a man, I don’t deserve courtesy I guess. 🤷🏽‍♀️

They would not honor their own app coupon. $15 comforter sets. Cashier said district manager said to immediately cease as desist honoring the coupon, even though it is valid.I asked why, she said she didn’t know.

I had a good experience today. I found several prices that were lower than elsewhere. Employees were helpful and friendly. I will be back for the things I saw. Thank you for the experience

When i go their i always get what i need.

I,giving this location 3,stars cause its near my home and there are some nice employees in the afternoon but In the morning their is this one particular older Caucasian lady cant never get her name cause her name tag isnt noticeable but she isnt very friendly and dont care much if she has line of people waiting or if people waiting at the register to be cashed out she moves at her own pace . I inquired about her to another employee one day and she told me she was the asstiant manager I sure hope not cause that would be just disappoint ing if family dollar has employees who are not passionate about the job and arent the friendliness when there at work

It hasn’t been open for long but it good location. One cashier likes to delay the checkout line though. She answers her cell phone while ringing customers up.

This is a cool Family Dollar its always stocked! The employees not so friendly all the time and thats why I gave 3 stars.

I dont know how to give half a star. I bought items that i didnt use and would not need them so i returnsd them with receipt in hand. The cashier hands me refund receipt to sign showing 6.98 refunded. So i mention it shouldve been 7.25 plus tax refunded. She asked how do you figure. I bought 2 items @ 2.00 each and 1 item for 3.25 = 7.25 plus tax still not accounted for. She explains well everything is 20% off. Okay, but i didnt purchase them at 20% and have the original receipt. So she goes to explain the only way of correcting it w/o her drawer being off is to sell the items first and then refund me the differnce then. So i told her that makes no sense since everything is 20% off. My throat hurt, i have no voice, nor the energ to further discuss this issue with the cashier. Especially over .30 cents plus tax still not included.
