I enjoy LL Bean s store but it is very pricey. The c lothes are made well and Ive never regretted purchasing anything from them. They dont carry wide womens shoes in their store which is disappointing. I believe you can order them online. They have handicapped parking in front of store but the non curbed entry is not in front of the doors, which is inconvenient. They do have restrooms that are handicapped available. We went in to purchase a coat for our dog but there wasnt a great selection. They also have big spot lights at the front of store that makes it hard to see towards the back of store. All that being said, I still enjoy a walk around. They have all sorts of outdoor gadgets, great canvas bags and goodies as you check out.

I had the best experience at this LL Bean! Ever since the beginning of the pandemic I have wanted to get into kayaking, but wasn’t sure how to start.Finally I decided I was ready to ask for some help. I was greeted in the kayaking area by the store manager, Peggy, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.She not only walked me through everything I would need to get on the water, she even offered to have her experts, John and Ryan install the equipment on my roof and mount the kayaks, showing me exactly what I would have to do later when it was time to do it myself.McKenna, who rang up my order was also awesome! I’ve been on the water a few times now this year and couldn’t have done it so confidently without them. Thank you guys so much!This LL Bean store is well worth the visit!

The store is open and service is helpful.Went there looking for slippers. Too late in the season for slippers in store. I guess I will defer to on line shopping. It was a bit of a bummer that they didnt have the slippers in the store to compare.

Called the store to find out if the had a particular water shoe for my kids. The woman on the phone put me on hold, comes back and said “he said we have Sandler and flip flops” . When I asked if they had the one I was looking for she just said “ well he didn’t mention that one so I don’t know”. Useless!I’m not driving 45 mins to find out if they do or don’t have it. Terrible attitude and terrible customer service. Very surprised by this from LLBean.

Back in November 2017 my mother purchased some LLBEAN moccasins for me as a gift. When she purchased this product she was under the impression and given information that they were covered under a 100% Lifetime Satisfaction guarantee. In 2018 LLBean return policy changed but all product purchased before this date would still be covered under the policy when purchased. So today I went to the Mansfield Ma location to exchange my moccasins for the second time because they are worn and have torn where the lace is held but was told I could not exchange them due to the return policy. Even with proof of purchase from 2017 they would not honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee. I then called the customer service line and they would also not honor this guarantee. Later emailing their customer service just to be sent a generic response of their current return policy and that they never offered a lifetime guarantee. I find it extremely disturbing that this product was purchased with intent and under conditions of a 100% satisfaction guarantee that is apparently no longer being honored. Show some integrity. You need to honor the terms your products are sold under.“L.L. himself always said that he ‘didn’t consider a sale complete until goods are worn out and the customer still satisfied.’ Our guarantee is a handshake – a promise that we’ll be fair to each other. So if something’s not working or fitting or standing up to its task or lasting as long as you think it should, we’ll take it back. We want to make sure we keep our guarantee the way it’s always been for over a century.”

I went to LLBean for kayaking gear. The manager marked 2 of the PFD vests down 20% to help move year end stock. I like the bright PFD vest with the pockets. That way if anything happens people can spot me. I purchase three vest total one grey one same style. Plus they have high backs so you can still sit comfortably in the kayak. Also found light spray ain jackets good for kayaking. On sales as well...

Great store with friendly staff and decent deals. Called ahead and got moccasins reserved for me and staff was amazing about it.

My wife and I decided to try this store, big mistake! We were approached by a store employee in the clothing area and asked her for help finding sizes. She replied she didnt have much in the size (the sizes seem very limited from xs-xl only). The employee looked my group over and at my daughters African boyfriend, and asked us if we seen the affordable jacket! She left and returned with nothing, apologized and suggested we try kohls because they were a more affordable store. Will never return here again.

Unbelievably clean, this Bean is my favorite. They just did a remodel inside that really brightened it up. And of course, they are ready to help and always asking how they can. Also, lots of covid precautionary partitions and register lines.

I’ve been shopping with LL Bean for 40 years. The quality today and service is a terrible disappointment.Purchase slippers and after 5 1/2 months they began to fall apart and LLB claimed not defective!What happened to this once good company? Now selling overseas trash products and not standing behind them.Will likely go the way of so many other retailers and fail.A shame!!

Great LL Bean quality and service. But variety and stock isnt up to par with either the Freeport, ME or online stores.

They have everything pretty well sat up and everything you need is within store. If cant find they will find a store that is carrying it and have them hold for you. There prices are very high...but you buy these clothes If anything rips of years they replace. They back their label up no questions asked as far as I know on pretty much all there retail! But I would ask first before you buy to make sure.

First time at the Mansfield LL.BEANthe mall is right off rte.495.great easy location. Plenty of parking. Always a great store to visit.plenty of help,easy to find products. Quality products. The costs are up there,but you pay for the quality. Restaurants also in this mall.

The quality of clothes and goods here is excellent. However they stopped guarunteeing their products for life. That was a huge selling point for me.

Location doesnt have much for outdoorsie activities just a lot of apparel. I bought a water bottle, the LL Bean Brand, which was comparable to the Yeti. The LL Bean one was $15 less, held more mL, and more hours to keep your drink cold. If youre lookkng for camping gear like tents or water activities go to a different location.

Products don’t last as long as expected. I had a pair of slippers that had to be exchanged because the stitching had come undone previously. Less than a year later the same thing happened (poor craftsmanship?). Before driving to the store I had called to confirm they would abide by the return policy and was told “yes you can exchange them for a new pair.” Drive to the Mansfield LL Bean and was told by the manager that they wouldn’t accept them as a return because they were “normal wear and tear”. Garbage customer service. Garbage management. Garbage overpriced product. After buying all holiday gifts from here for the last few years, this will be the last time I shop with LL Bean.

After chatting online with an associate I was told I could return my jacket for a replacement. I asked about it being bought for me from a company I used to work for and was told I would still be able to return it..I drive approximately 1 hour to the nearest store and was told I had to have the company I used to work for return it. Not contacting a previous company that fired me after 9 years to ask therm to return it. Thanks for nothing and wasting my gas and time.

The store carries a good cross-section of items that are in the LL Bean catalog. They stock clothes, footwear, and various types of outdoor gear. They dont have everything that is in the catalog of course, but you get to see and try on those items plus get helpful guidance from staff.

Best place for outdoor equipment and clothing

I was in the Mansfield store on March 22nd. I was looking to try on some footwear in person instead of ordering online due to a recent foot surgery. The store was practically empty and I couldnt see an employee anywhere to ask for help. I wandered the footwear section for a good ten minutes and was never approached by anyone to ask if I needed help. I finally left frustrated. I will never go back. There are too many other places that will be eager to help me out and make a sale. I expected better of LL Bean.

Staff take a long to time to process returns, but they are nice and the new updates to the store looks make the store feel bigger and more open, like the great outdoors.

Since they have changed their warranty from lifetime to only one year the customer service is Gone down the tube as far as Im concerned. We love LLBean. Great customer service and great products. Purchased shoes and a winter jacket. Not a lot of sales but the quality makes all the difference.

Id like to rate this place less because of how high their prices are, but they truly stand by their products. You pay a premium for anything with an l.l. bean label, but if anything ever goes wrong with it, theyll replace it for free, with no hassle. You cant put a price on that.Aside from that, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the layout of the store is well thought out. I didnt feel lost at any point in the store. Ill be shopping here again.

Went there specifically for the flannel in the commercial. The comercial where it shows it up close first. They had that bad boy on display! In and out in 5 minutes. Women at the counter was friendly. It is, however, quite pricey. It pretty much takes seeing a hypnotic flannel commercial hundreds of times over the course of a month or two. Till the next comercial, mr.bean.

Its the LLBean you know and love, in a bright, cheery, modern store with friendly and helpful staff. Never seen a bike rack here even though they sell bikes and encourage an active lifestyle. Go figure. Dont know about public transit to this location.

Disapointment, fine quality Poor sizing. Almost 2 sizes difference between Bass outlet . And others LLBEAN 2X is everyone elses L . Shoes and Boots likewise.

So I am a procrastinator and signed up for the bike part in a triathlon, to honor a great kid Will Golden tomorrow morning and have not checked my bike since last spring. At 830, I found two flat tires and no special piece to inflate thin tires. I was frantic and quickly googled bike shops in area. None were open but LL Bean still was. I called, semi explained my dilemma and admitted i was worried the tires were not the only problem. He told me he closed at 9 but had what I needed, and I was on my way.vThe mechanic had his gate open when I got there, waiting for me, gave me the silly $1.50 piece, inflated my tires and gave my bike a quick touch up :) An angel just when i needed it, what customer service !!!!

It is a shame that this store, and perhaps this company values their customers privacy so little. I love the merchandise, the sales help is very good, but they are very sloppy, or just plain untrustworthy to deal with. I cannot tell which. My wife and I went to the grand opening sale, and we bought a bunch of stuff. They asked us to,open a L L Bean Visa account, and we agreed. The clerk Bob told us that the computers were down, and that we had to do a paper application. I hesitated, but a women (I think she may have been a manager) came over and assured us that it would be safe. That was a month ago. After three weeks without hearing from anyone I checked with the c. c. issuer, and was told that they never received the application. I contacted L L Bean and they basically did nothing. So, did the app get lost? Did someone in the store steal it to use, or sell to identity thieves? I dont know. As for L L Bean, well. they just dont seem to care at all about it. Be very careful with these guys.

I have shopped at Bean for years and never had to take advantage of their return policy. This year I brought in my winter parka, circa 2004 that had worn fabric exposing the waterproofing. The staff at Mansfield was amazing. They took it in trade and gave me credit for what amounted to a new coat. I appreciate not only the company policy but Mansfields pleasant and helpful walking through the process. Every new coat will be an LL Bean.
