Picked up a nail while we were in town doing a tour of the prison. Spoke with Andrew and he got us in and out in 15 minutes. Great guy and great service!! We appreciate them getting the job done for our drive home back to Cincinnati!

My experience was excellent. I had stopped because one of my tires kept losing air it was discovered that there was a bolt in it. The Manager Paul was quick to offer options suitable for me as I couldnt afford replacing that tire let alone 4 tires all at once which was definitely needed. I was able to apply for the drive card and was approved. My tires were ordered and put on within just a few days. I refer everyone I know there for all their needs.

I’ve been going here for a year now. They always greet you as soon as you walk in. Paul the manager is awesome. He treats you with kindness. Always has a smile on his face. Excellent service every time!

Store Manager Paul & the stores mechanics all have great customer service. Being female, I know some shops try to sell us what we dont need yet just to make a buck. These guys will take you in the garage & actually show you whats wrong or point out why something may need replaced later down the line. They will tell you what needs emergent attention with your safety in mind. That goes a long way & is greatly appreciated to not be talked to like Im incompetent just because its a vehicle.

Paul and Nick were awesome! Great prices good service. Called Paul and worked out a deal on hard to get tires. I had my doubts about their ability to get my 275/60r20 wildpeak at3w tires but after a few days Paul called and after work we got it done. Nick was on top of the install. He knew his torque specs and pressures unlike a lot of shops Ive seen. He even used an actual torque ratchet!!!! They took the time to seal the tires instead of just throwing them on. They were friendly and made the time just fly by. Paul was very knowledgeable about the products and services. These guys really know the job. It makes me feel great about my family vehicle. First time I didnt have to come home and recheck the job. Will definately come back again!

They are very quick to help you out, even without an appointment. They dont run around on prices, and will even help you out if on a budget. 15 mins of being there and they immediately put my car in, switched rim from old to new tire, balanced, put air in all 4 tires, and had it ready to go! Definitely coming here more often for (god forbid) any other issues that arise.

I was looking for just an Oil Change, nothing more. Being the “new kids on the block” and being a customer of the Kroger Marketplace in the same center, I decided to give it a shot. After I got my wheelchair out of the car and assembled, my service dog in training, and was about to go in the door a gentleman came out and asked how he could help me. Told him I was there for an oil change, he let me know since I did not have an appointment he could not fit me in, perhaps the next day. So ended up putting my Service Dog in Training back in the backseat of the car, transferred into the car, disassembled and packed my wheelchair. Then went searching for another place that could fit me in. Was going to go to Possum Run Walmart, but I pulled over at the OSP Post at OH-13 and Hanley Road and googled for another oil change place and found that there was one further west down Lexington Avenue. The street it crossed was accessible just past the entrance to Walmart. So I had my oil changed, transmission fluid topped off, washer fluid topped off…all in FIVE MINUTES and they got my $40 instead of Tire Choice. Oh well, I am willing to give them another chance when I need some auto repair done and I am nearby. But this first experience was a total “non-starter”.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. If 6 stars was an option I’d give them that. Always fair, always nice and always doing a great job. This is the only place I come and will come for a long time. The GM and assistant GM are two of the most stand up guys you could work with. Highly recommended.

I don’t normally go to big box mechanic shops because prices are typically higher and they like to tack on all kinds of stuff by using scary words. This shop is NOT like that at all. I had to go in a pinch a few months ago and had a great experience so I decided to take my wife’s car in. It wasn’t just a one time thing. The guys that work there are truly amazing people! They did not give up when they couldn’t find the issue immediately. Not only did they not give up they made sure it was a very personable experience. The way Andrew manages the shop should seriously be modeled in every mechanic shop in America, it really sets a customer at ease. The mechanics Matt and Lee aren’t just great mechanics, they operate in the same capacity an owner would. They both put their heads together and showed teamwork finds results. These three guys have such hospitality that you would hope to get anywhere you go. As long as I live in Mansfield and these guys work here, I know where our vehicles will be going.

Very pleased with my service at this location. Andrew and his crew were fantastic got my car in the night before with a pretty decent amount of work needed to be done and they had me a quote by the end of the day and ordered my parts overnight and had it back to me next day and the car drives great! Very impressed, down to earth guys. Dont know what these guys get paid but it should probably be more! Will definitely be going back.

The staff here went above and beyond to help me and my friend after we had a break down on a road trip to Niagra Falls. They drove us around to a couple of local businesses to pick up parts that they did not carry in order tk repair my vehicle. They also explained the problems with the truck, stayed after late to fix it and still had us back on the road in less than 2 hours. THEY WERE AMAZING. IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND SUCH GOOD FOLKS AND TO FIND THEM IN A BUSINESS SETTING AS WELL WAS A RARE FIND. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!

We had the most excellent team at Tire Choice work on (my fiances) Bradley W. Joness truck. Our caliper blew and all 4 brakes, rotors and pads had to be replaced. There was a lot of back-braking and tiring work to be done. We were in a bad situation and needed it done quickly and at the least cost we could manage. We so recommend this company and team highly to everyone!!! We will continue our great service with them. They most certainly give you options, they special order parts needed and they keep in touch letting you know the progress. This was the first time going there, but the huge delightful impression will NOT be the last. They will always have our business. Went to Monroe because I was experiencing rattling when I was turning. The young gentleman quickly diagnosed the noise saying I needed new breaks and rotors, he even showed me what they looked like. He was very thorough going over everything with me. Quick to get me in and I wasnt there very long. Great, Quick service and everyone working there was super friendly. I went in for an estimate to repair my truck exhaust, which had come loose. They gave me an outrageously high estimate for recommended repair, which I declined (were talking several hundreds of dollars), and (this is why I gave them 4 stars) they were very friendly & didnt give me a hard sell attempt after I declined their service, with no charge for the inspection. BTW, I drove down the road to a mom & pop car service shop & got the repair done in 30 minutes for $25.

The moment I pulled from my garage to head out of state my vehicle scared me with a horrible wheel flapping sound and vibrating steering wheel. I pulled up my maps app and asked for the closest tire shop. Monro came up and I immediately headed that way. Then I gave them a call to see if they could look at my vehicle quickly as I was on my way out of state. They said sure, bring it on by. By the time I arrived - about 10 minutes later I was in a terrible state of nerves for all the noise and shaking the vehicle was doing. Alisha came out and met me at my vehicle with a very calm reassuring attitude and said theyd take care of me quickly. After a quick test drive they put it up on their lift and began checking the tires. I liked being able to see them work from the office/waiting area because of the windows they had between the area I waited and their work zone. It turned out that when my husband had replaced my brake pads the left front tire didnt get tightened enough and worked its way loose. They made sure all the tires were tight and recommended I have them rechecked at my destination. They were efficient in their work and very sympathetic to my heightened nervous state. Im very happy to have met them and find they are not far from our new Lexington home. I plan to see them again and will recommend them to our family and friends.

I want to thank everyone at Monro on Trimble Rd, especially the managers Alicia and Evan for providing my mother and I not only excellent customer service and quality service but for the many extra things you do for my mother and I that go above and beyond. Friendly service, but beware youre not being scammed of $. I took my car in for an inspection after it started making some noise. The woman who works here was very friendly and kind, and actually brought me into the back to show and explain to me what was wrong with my car which was extremely helpful. The inspection was free, however I am giving 4 stars due to the fact they wanted to charge me almost $1,000 for repairs. They offered to price match/give discounts, but when I called a different shop who quoted me less than $500 for the same repair it made me question the integrity of Monro and how they charge their customers, so I took my car to a different shop.

I called the manager the day before and asked for an estimate to press out and press in a wheel bearing. He gave me a quote over the phone (I thought it was high but I didnt know all that was involved). He spent 2+ hours on it. Im sure he thought it would be a half hour job but the bearing was seized and he had to bust out the blow torch. Whats amazing is he remained true to his estimate. Im grateful for that because I was low on funds. As long as he is the manager of that store I will be a loyal customer. Thanks a ton!

January 2018... I had an appointment to go in to this Monroe store to look at new tires for my 2016 Toyota Rav on a Monday morning,,, Sunday, I got a flat tire and carefully cruised in to a near by store parking lot... called AAA and then the Monroe store explaining my situation. The manager, Bernie said, no problem, just come here when you get your spare on and I will go ahead and take care of it for you today. I bought a different brand than I had planned, on the recommendation of the manager and they have been great! I have been from Ohio to SC on to Louisiana and now to Houston... wonderful ride and control, driving in all types of weather..have and will continue to recommend this store and Bernie!

Went in on New Year’s Eve they had me in and out in no time I believe it was Evan and Chris that worked on my car, they really helped me out big time, I thought I was going to have to pay a lot of money to a dealership to fix the problem and they came up with a solution no problem! when I first called Evan I explained what I was told by the auto parts stores and he immediately made an appointment for me to come in so he can take a look himself. Very good place to do and oil change! 1/2 wait and only cost me 19.56 .. I was very satisfied! Cant beat that price any where..Important to remember ? ( Only if your veh taked up to 5 quarts of oil!) Anything over that will cost you more!

Prices are high, but the service is amazing. They go out of their way to thoroughly check for problems, and inform customers on what is being fixed in the vehicle and about any possible future repairs. No complaints yet, and Ive been at the shop at least five times for repairs on my Ford pickup.

Today 2/20/19 I stopped by Monro Auto Service on Trimble Road in Mansfield, Ohio and was treated to a rarity in the consumer service world - treatment by the staff of Evan, Alyssia and third gentleman as if I was part of their family. Not only was the oil change performed flawlessly and quickly but a past issue that had developed (2 cylinders were misfiring causing the engine to periodically surge) was addressed under the warranty of a prior job.When I picked up my truck it ran perfectly with no hint of the past misfiring and the invoice was for the oil change only.These folks and their company must be congratulated for the delivery of a service to their customer that was totally wonderful but very unexpected. Thank you Evan, Allyssia and the unnamed third person, you are true champions.

Monroe scheduled me in as soon as I called and was able to remove a stuck lug nut that Blevins tires in Perrysville stripped/broke the day before. They got it removed very quickly and did an awesome job. Highly recommend!

We have had all of our maintenance done here for the last 5 years. The older gentlemen are amazing and they always take good care of us. Ive had a few instances where younger/newer guys will push unnecessary add-on costs so I honestly just dont make an appointment unless the regular guys are in.

After I few good experiences, the last one voided those ones out.Dropped my car off at 9 a.m after calling the day before asking about getting some exhaust hangers welded up, was told no problem. I called them at 12:30 and they said they were just getting ready to call me because they didnt know why I wanted a hanger on it. Called back at 3 and it was still not done.7.5 hrs later I get one bracket and a bent fender from them lifting it wrong. They denied doing it at first, took pictures to them and they said Well cant you just fix it?Thats not the point. You guys literally put the arm of the lift under a part of the car that says Do not lift here. Was told they will send pictures to corporate, this was Monday, still havent heard back from them.

Fast work at great cost

I came to this monro for a tire rotation & alignment. Not only did the guy have an attitude with me like I didnt know what I was talking about, they did the alignment & it was worse. Had to immediately take it to the ashland location for a second alignment. DONT go here, theyll just screw your car up.

Any time I get a nail/screw in my tire from a job site they get me in and out quickly with the tire fix. they save me a lot of money for there speed.

I got a flat tire at 6:15 PM in Kroeger Parking lot and frantically ran down Monro to see if they could help me out. Even though they had 2 other trucks in their shop and were supposed to close in 45 mins they offered to help! I drove my truck down from Kroeger with only 20 mins left before closing they STILL helped me! Both employees I spoke with were extremely professional and helpful. I only ended up needing my valve stem replaced so it was a quick fix for them. The mechanic working on my truck even pointed out a few things on my truck that needed addressed without trying to pressure me to pay them to do it. He told me what needed addressed, gave me some small pointers and said that they could do it for me if I wanted to give them a call in the morning. Phenomenal customer service and whenvever I need service done on my truck in this area i will be returning to Monro!

Honestly, I used to love taking my car to Monro! But Ive had it in the shop probably four times in the last few months trying to get my exhaust system replaced. I needed to do it bit by bit because I couldnt afford to do it all at once. It was cheaper for me to buy my own parts and bring them in and they let me do that, but didnt bother to tell me if the ones I got were exact fit or not, and that ended up causing a lot of problems. Also, considering Ive had my car there as much as I did, I thought they would remember the work that they had done on it and be able to give me estimates for what was left, but they couldnt. Every time I needed to bring it in to get an estimate. Finally, my tail pipe broke off from my muffler and I called to see what it would cost and he said by looking at my paperwork it would be around $600 to $800 dollars!! Took it to the Muffler House in Galion and he custom bent a pipe for $60 + tax!save yourself the time and money and take your car somewhere else. I know I will not be back.

I took my car in for an oil change, I had never had problems with leaking oil or with my oil pan and monro is the only maintenance shop who has serviced my car, upon leaving I was informed that they had stripped the threads in my oil pan and my car then leaked oil. I am highly dissatisfied with my maintenance and will never reccomend monro again due to their lack of care when changing the oil resulting in an expensive fix needed to be done on my car.

Went in to inquire on cost for an oil change for full synthetic on a 2014 silverado. They quoted me 5 quarts when I told them I take way more than that. After getting a price, I asked how long it would take as I saw a vehicle on the rack already. The guy behind the counter just started shaking his head and said no, you aint getting it done today. Easy enough, I go to the competitor.

Our car broke down on our way home from vacation - the alternator blew - so we were essentially stranded. Monro was the only place open at the time so we towed it there, thinking as a big name chain they would be fair and reasonable in the price. I was wrong. An alternator is not a tough fix. I could have done it myself if we werent out of town. They tried to charge me $1000 (including trying to get me to buy a new battery, even though the battery is fine). I tried to talk with them and figure out how such a simple repair could be so much, and they cited the expense of the part. I looked it up online, and found the part for as little as $250 on a major autoshop website. If I could order it for that low a price, certainly they could as well? Well, thats when the shop guy got all huffy. I called around, and found a place that was able to do it for less than $400. I had them pull the car out and told them they were trying to rip me off. Even with a car rental and extra tow I was still coming out hundreds less than these guys were trying to take me for. I not only will not use this Monro, but I will recommend to everyone to stay away from all Monros.
