My heat pump system was on its last leg after almost 15 years. I was researching Trane systems online and came across Performance Heat and Air, Inc. Wow, what a super great experience I had. I called to inquire about a new system and John Jacobs was out in the next two hours. Very nice guy, he made me feel very comfortable with the whole process and answering all questions with trust. They searched for my system to install really fast and was out in the next day. Installers showed up right on time 8:00am perfect. Abraham and Armando worked together connecting my new system perfectly. Very nice guys. They answered all my questions during the install and was very professional. The part I liked the most is Abraham and Armando was very friendly and let me have nice conversations with them while they were working. Kuddos to these guys and the company. Had a freon leak causing older unit to freeze up. After getting quotes on repairing older unit vs. replacing with new unit, we decided on replacing. On the day of install, the crew was on time, and worked hard the entire time they were here, despite the 90+ degree day. They left the space cleaner than when they got here (put down heavy duty drop cloths, and I believe I heard a vacuum cleaner!). Would highly recommend!

Performance heat and air did a great job replacing two plenums and installing dampers in my home. They had someone out to inspect my HVAC on the same day I called and were out to do the repairs shortly after. Victor did a great job! Would highly recommend.

Performance Heat and Air replaced my leaking evaporator coil due to a manufacturing welding leak, even though my warranty had just expired less than 3 days before. Tyler from Performance Heat and Air came by with the coil within 1 week and had it installed and working in less than 3 hours. Very professional bunch of guys. I will be letting everyone know where to get great HVAC service from now own.

I purchased a home brand new that came with the performance hvac unit. Every year since I’ve had the Unit my air has went out since the 1st year I have had the unit. Then when I call for assistance I have to continue to pay $800 for labor. This is how companies continue to keep a cash flow from homeowners. There is no way a brand new unit needs maintenance every year. I do maintenance on my vents and change my filters regularly. Totally disappointed in their processAfter having them come out to do another check up on my unit the Trane unit that was provided was not working and Mr.Shane did everything he could to get me a whole new unit. I really appreciated that it has been a trying time but I can say that he got the job done and reached out and righted the wrong of the Trane company

Built a new house that came with a warranty through P H&A. The Trane parts have gone out a couple times but PHA came to the rescue quickly and efficiently each time. Danny fixed us up today and went out of his way to fix our issue when the new part was found to be bad as well.

We called performance air this morning at 7:45 AM with an issue with our fresh air intake system. They were very friendly and professional. They asked for my address and said that they would have someone on the way. The gentlemen showed up as promised and was very friendly and professional. He fixed the system and explained what had happened and what he did to fix it. Then thanked us for calling and said if we have anymore issues to give them a call. Definitely will be using them again. On January 15, 2021 we met with John Jacobs with Performance Heat and Air. At that time I had a long list of questions that I was asking each of the three companies we met with in hopes of making an informed decision for this major purchase. John answered all my questions but he also educated my husband and me regarding so much more relating to having a new HVAC system installed. On January 20, 2021 Performance Heat and Air installed our new Trane 18 Seer Two Stage XL-18i AC with the compatible heating system. The entire installation process went very smoothly and the install crew was friendly, efficient and cleaned up everything when they finished. I think they went above-and-beyond. Because it is only January I cannot comment yet on the AC portion of the system but right now I am excited about how the heating system is performing. I can certainly recommend a 2-stage system because it is so efficient at keeping the house at a constant temperature and doing so quietly. With the old system it was either too cold or too warm.I can, without reservation recommend Performance Heat and Air!

I highly recommend this place!!I had a repairman come out to my home because my house kept getting hot. It was a weird problem, because it would not happen all of the time, and normally it only happened on hot days. Said repairman looked at my system for about 10 minutes before he decided that it was low on refrigerant and needed a whole new system. He left an estimate and took off. So I called one of my friends that works in the a/c industry and told him the story. His name is Chad and he works at Performance Heat and Air. Chad personally came to our home and looked over our system. He found that a capacitor had not been properly installed. Once he rearranged the wiring, the unit started, ran, and started cooling the home. He hooked up his tools to the unit and found that the unit was fine and that our 7-8 year old unit doesnt need to be replaced quite yet. Chad did confirm that the unit does have the old refrigerant in it, !and at some point we will have to change to the new stuff, and explained why. Also, instead of just dropping a price and leaving he spent a while explaining all of the different options and what to be preparing for when the time comes. I know he is a friend, but we were prepared for him to tell us the same thing. Its good to know honest people like him in this world. Big thanks to Performance Heat and Air, and of course Chad. We will be using only you guys from now on.

I had to replace my HVAC system and got several quotes from companies I found through Home Adviser, which were all over the board. In the end, I went with Performance Heat & Air, which was highly recommended (not Home Adviser!). I couldn’t be more happy with the entire experience: the manager communicates and is fantastic; the crew arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable and they did more than I expected so that everything is now updated and to code. I didn’t even have to clean up after them. I highly recommend Performance Heat and Air; great service from beginning to end and definitely deserves 5 Stars!

We’ve had Performance out a of couple times for A/C issues. This last time was late in the day on a Friday in August. From the time I called it was right at one hour and the technician was here to make the repair. I can’t speak highly enough about their professionalism. Call them without hesitation.

After calling 5 times about receiving a receipt for the payment I have yet to receipt it still.The work was done on the 2nd of July & it seems that would would’ve been plenty of time to e mail that receipt. You sure wanted your money ASAP on the spot, now I want the receipt.Danny parks

Dwayne and his son provided the initial inspection and quote, he was the least expensive of six different bids by over $300, and applied zero selling pressure at any point in the process. Omar and Justin did a great job on the installation. They were courteous, friendly, proficient, and knowledgeable. They explained the process along the way and Omar showed me how to use the new thermostat. The city inspector said the installation was perfect. I highly recommend this company.

It took a 1 star rating to get them to call me back after two weeks of waiting. Once I gave them that rating, they called immediatly. Unfortunate that was what I had to do to get them to follow up with questions I had. The service overall was good but too soon to me from the last time they provided a serivce requiring the same part be replaced which was under warranty and not theirs but still frustrating.

The 3 gentlemen that came out to our home were very professional, since the moment I opened the door. They were on time and very cautious by wearing face masks do to the virus issue going on at this time. They gave me a time frame of 3 hours and they actually finished a bit before the 3 hour time frame I was given. They were Very polite and explained what was happening and how they would fix issue. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs repairs on a central air system.

Very impressed with Performance Heat and Air Inc. for many reasons. KaCee, office manager was awesome to work with while getting quotes. She was very helpful, explained things, and was up front about pricing. I got many quotes for my AC job and this was one of the few companies that didn’t try to up-sell everything. Other companies I got estimates from were pushing the sell so hard it was painful. Performance gave me a very fair, competitive quote for what I actually needed, not all the upgrades and commission products most other companies push hard to sell. Their quote was actually the most competitive by a long shot of all the ones I received.Repair/maintenance day was equally impressive. Abraham was a true professional, very thorough and detailed, spent extra time to explain things and did an awesome job. Put tarps down throughout the house to ensure no mess was made, left the space cleaner than when he arrived. Very friendly as well. No extra/hidden charges and even helped troubleshoot other issues not even related to the repair job.This company gets a solid 10/10 from my family. It’s good to know their is still dependable, honest, reliable companies out there looking out for the consumer. Awesome. My landlord sent out someone who quoted over $2800 to fix an issue; thankfully, I saw these good reviews and got a second opinion from Performance Heat and Air. Their technician arrived, fixed the issue within an hour; re-assured me his plan; and the fee.... only $580. A/C is working well and they will be our first phone call for our business. As a small-business owner, I have to applaud their professionalism and quick response to our clinics needs.

. The problem with my non-functioning heat pump was caused by 3 leaking AAA batteries in downstairs thermostat. The tech, Ruben, told me incorrectly that the batteries should never have been installed by Dwayne and Ritchie in mid 2016. He took them out, which then allowed the HP control software to function. Later I spoke with Casey and she confirmed that the 3 batteries are actually indeed necessary to preserve temp settings during long power outages.With all due respect, I think the tech should have absolutely known that thermostat battery information, in order to properly inform the homeowner.

I chose Performance Air to replace my old central heating/air system with a new heat pump and so happy I did. I cant say enough good things about them. I liked Richie Blackman right off and had a good feeling about using this company and I was right. The installers were polite and respectful and so quiet. They did a remarkable job. The old unit in the attic was in a horrible location, a cramped spot which was in the way when entering the attic and also made it very difficult to work on. They relocated it, made a floor for it to sit on with easy access to it and it made the attic look completely different (in a very much improved way), I couldnt be happier with it. They are very reasonable in their pricing, they do a good job and they are prompt in their response to you and Im glad I can say I have a great A/C company that I can depend on. The customer service is excellent. Everyone Ive dealt with has been courteous and knowledgeable and a special thanks to KaCee who was so patient with me and all my questions and concerns. I moved into my home 6 years ago and the heat always had a cool feeling to it as the air blew out the vents. My air handler finally gave up the ghost over this past winter and oh my god what a difference the new air handler made! The air actually exits the vents warm and my electricity bill has dropped since replacing with a more efficient unit. When the heating system on one of our 3 HVAC units started failing recently we decided to get bids from a few companies and replace all of the HVAC systems in our home. I found Performance Heat and Air online, I read the reviews and decided to call them to get a bid. I am so glad I did! Chad came out, looked at our old systems and asked us what type of system we were considering getting for replacement. I told him we really did not know what our options were, we just wanted something that would be efficient and would properly heat and cool our house for many years. He sat down with us and explained the 3 types of systems available, and their differences and advantages. He did not pressure us in any direction, just let us know how each type worked and what made them different, and allowed us to choose what we thought would be the best fit for us. Purchasing 3 systems is a huge investment. We were getting bids from other companies but price was not all that I was interested in. I wanted a company that had a good reputation, sold a good system and really cared about the customers and providing the best possible service. I really think we got this from Performance. The other companies were telling me what they thought we needed to get, Chad took the time to educate us and let us decide what we needed. We chose to purchase 3 variable speed Trane HVAC systems and I must say they are amazing! We have only used the heat thus far but the comfort level of our home is 100 times better than it was. If you need service on your HVAC system or are considering a new system for your home I highly recommend you call Performance Heat and Air! Do your homework, shop around, but make sure Performance is on your list. I talked to a total of 4 companies Performance was the 4th to come out and bid and I can truly say I saved the best for last. They gave us the best price, the best service, and the best system!

Not at all happy with the service and lack of care with the company. They held the contract for our development all New homes. The installs were done incorrect causing major damage within the walls and resulting in large drywall repair in many of our Brand New homes. Then we have had several issues with the Brand New unit of which is under warranty and they continue not to honor. After having a tech come out to say the unitis fine no Problem, then months later that faulty part caused massive damage, said tech comes back out to say, yes it caused that damage but will repair not replace, when faulty part is under warranty that caused damage. End result wanting US to pay almost 600$ for repair on a Brand New under warranty system... Scam.... I understand labor fees but they do not honor the warranty. Not at all areccommended company will be reporting were ever I can have also talked with friends that provide commercial building an due to similar issues they no longer use them AS well. Please do not use this company!!
