Went today for first time and made more than expected to buy a new summer wardrobe for my child! Very nice customer service. Didn’t shop at all but looked like it had a good size selection of clothes to shop for. Very pleased with my experience and will be returning to buy and sell clothing.

This place is clean, organized, and well maintained. The staff is mostly courteous and I would return. You can trade in baby stuff for store credit; like other reviewers mentioned they are quite selective and you dont get much for your stuff. But that also means that the stuff you buy is in good condition. Their product seems to move well and you can usually find a good selection of things. Strollers seem a big overpriced for a used item but otherwise prices seem pretty decent considering the quality. The only reason there is not 5 stars is that it takes an excessively long time to go through your things. They will often expect you to leave your items there for HOURS while they go through it. It doesnt seem like that is the typical experience but worth noting its happened about 50% of the time for me. Overall a good experience and I would recommend for sure!

Disrespectful staff member, smaller girl with red hair was late opening store and very rude when i asked a question. I just took my stuff and left!

I go in here a lot. the owner is always friendly and helpful. Some of the staff make returns cumbersome and uncomfortable. Maybe thats the idea?

The quality and prices of the clothing here is great and the staff is always helpful and courteous. One of my favorite places to shop for my childrens clothing.

Great for kids clothes, and able to find unexpected brands like Patagonia, North Face, and Moutain Hardware. Clothes are never worn out (well apparently some brands come with holes in them already).

The overall amount of supplies here is staggering. There are so many baby and kid clothes here that its difficult to return a hanging shirt or bodysuit because the space it came from had been swallowed up by everything else still on the rack. Theres definitely no lack of options!Some items are great deals while others are not - white onesies were priced similarly or even higher here than brand new multipacks from department stores. We did find excellent deals on the fleece pants and body suits however. The gal at the front counter was super helpful and pleasant to converse with.

As a Grandmother of five grandchildren, I have been shopping at Once Upon A Child for over 15 years and have always been very pleased with the selection and the service. Fall has always been a time for me to stock up on winter coats, boots, hats and mittens and I know I have saved hundreds of dollars over the years. I would recommend the store to parents and grandparents looking for quality at a reasonable price.

I can replace entire wardrobes for my kids as they grow out of the precious sizes for around 100 to 150 dollars. You cant beat that with a big stick.

Love the variety of items and brands to discover! Especially enjoy the price of footwear, outer winterwear and occassional $1 clearance days!

My cousin and I stopped in. When we walked in the door we werent greeted. They were busy so we understood. We looked around a bit and went up to the counter to pay. We stood there for a few minutes before someone asked us if we were ready to pay. There was one other lady behind us as well. There were about 4 people just sitting back behind the counter talking. We finally got someone to help us and they were kind of rude as well. Not very pleased with the worker there. Will definitely be going to the one I usually do.

Love this store! Renee does such a great job and is so welcoming. I remember the first time I came to her store when we we first moved to MN. I was totally lost as to how to dress kids for the cold. She went above and beyond. This is really is a great business and a blessing to Mankato!

I love the fact of getting money for my used clothes and they are very friendly in the mankato store. They are very picky though they usually dont even take 3/4 of the stuff I bring and I feel my clothes look as good as the ones on the racks. But its a win win I get some money and then I do good and donate the rest.

Great place to shop and very affordable when on a budget. I love the variety and although it is a second hand store you couldnt tell with the quality. As my children grow fast its nice to be able to shop somewhere that grows with the childrens needs.

They were very nice helped me with a playpen even went above and beyond to clean it up for me so that i can enjoy my grandchildren using it

Good organized shoe selection. Find any size shoes that youre children might need at a discount price. The coats werent as noticeably discounted.

Pricing is very inconsistent. Yes, I know the information is entered into the computer which calculates the value. Being both a buyer and a seller, I see the inconsistencies with both.
