I guess stores like JCPenney are becoming rare. It is a clean store, well lit, and the staff was very helpful. For a smaller store there is a lot of inventory and deals to look for. It was a positive shopping experience and will shop there again.

Nice employees but if you want options, go to the JCPenny in the cities metro area. Not much here.

I was pretty disappointed by the selection of clothing, it was pretty slim. I found the sake signage misleading and generally frustrating. On the positive side the employees are very friendly and are doing the best they can under the circumstances.

Only one fitting room with only two stalls was open. Didnt have time to wait for one to open up. There were at least three closed fitting rooms that I saw .

Was looking for shorts, but couldnt find anything, they pretty much got rid of all their summer wear and replaced it with jeans

Loved to shop there but had an interview there and the lady who just took over managing it lied to me about why I didnt get the job there, had people fallow us me and my friends around the store when I have money and the store card just because she didnt like the way I looked

I was there with my wife while she was shopping. Not my thing otherwise.

Visited today, 9/6/2019. The sales make womens clothing very affordable. Two pairs of jeans, one pair of dress slacks, and three blouses for $106. One concern was that one of the dressing rooms was closed and there was quite a wait to get into another dressing room. Once in the dressing room it was such a mess that I had to remove the clothing left behind by others before I could even use the room. After I got all the other clothing out it was disgusting to see that the floor was covered in dust bunnies, loose threads and something sticky that looked like it had been there a while. Hopefully this isnt how they always keep their dressing rooms.

Getting any sort of service there is like pulling teeth, and they are rude once you do get their attention. If you are looking for a warm and friendly shopping experience do not go here.

I always get my sneakers at JC Pennys.. Theyre the only place I can find them..

The cashier who checked me out was all too friendly,no greeting or or goodbye which i feel that customer interaction is a must when working in sales. The girl literally maybe said two words to me the entire time I was checking out in line which did make it kind of akward. Other than that my shopping trip that day was pleasant the atore was clean and in order, everything i went there to get was easy to find granted there wasnt too big of a selection at the time due to it being a week away from christmas everything went great! I would go back to JcPenny to do more shopping in the future and would recommend this store to anyone who asks if this is a good store to get shopping sone with reasonable prices too. Never are they over prices which is always a pmus in book. 😊

Took my son in for a hair cut because great clips was a 2+ hour wait. Both great clips in town. So we got in here right way, and my son got a great haircut for $18. I think Ill be coming here from now on, because every time great clips has a massive wait.

Honestly love this place and the employees are always helpful and polite and the type of people you would want around when it comes time to shop! My only complaint is that they used to carry everything in my size and I would always try to buy it when it came out and not wait for it to go on sale so they would keep stocking my size but recently they have stopped carrying my sizes. They do offer to have it shipped to you or in the store if you cant find what you are looking for

Nice store with a sufficient amount of choices. Clean and orderly without a lot of bothersome sales people. Sale prices make it worth a visit, though the regular prices are still too high. Spring sales on a lot of merchandise makes it worth walking around.

So, I am now officially boycotting the JCPenney salon. The manager was incredibly rude today. I went in to ask about styling products and she was super nice to me until She figured out who I was, then made a bunch of snide comments about me getting her into trouble for the hack job they gave me back in january. her exact words were: oh, yeah. I thought you looked familiar, youre the girl who left a nasty review and then got us into a lot of trouble.

Lots of great brands there. Some really deep discounts at times. Not many associates to ask for help.

Went to salon. Didnt like the low lights put in, made my hair look gray. Went back the next day to get a partial highlight. It looked good but was charged full price. Just very expensive. Thought Id be charged only maybe half the next day to make it blend right but was not the case. I wouldnt have posted but I saw tonight my pillow case was stained from the low light dye. Now my pillow case is ruined. Kind of the last straw. Im happy with my hair but the price wasnt worth it.

I like JC Penny but I wanted a short sleeved shirt Stanford but all I found was white.

When buying a pair of shoes, the final price included sales tax. I explained that MN does not charge sales tax on clothing including shoes. The young cashier had no authority to try to change it. We went to an older cashier at a different location and it again totaled charging sales tax. She then applied a discounted price lower than the original price of the shoes for us. JCPENNEY needs to fix the glitch in the system - hence the 4 star rating. Thank you, cashier for the lower price!

Got a great haircut

Clothes are so poorly made theyre tearing after a single use. They arent even tight on me, I dont know how theyre tearing so easily.

As we walked in to go through the store to get to the food court, the red haired manager apparently thought it was important to say very loudly (for everyone was able to hear) why are there so many people in here? Wow. I understand you guys are closing but to be completely disrespectful to us and the other people getting ready to leave is unacceptable. I would like to think managers know how to be appropriate and apparently she thinks being rude and making faces is ok. Never shopping at this location. 6 pm 1-24-15.

Staff is helpful. Asked for a reduced price on a clearance item and got it. Easy to navigate shopping aisles with a cart. Shop there regularly.

Some deals to be found on the clearance racks, but overall the store looks like an 80s mall anchor in the beginning phase of a going-out-of-business sale. Its not the glorious JC Penney remembered from my childhood in the 70s and 80s. 🤷‍♂️

Why did walkthrough pennies a short time ago I understand that the shopping mall that theyre located in may be closing and so I just wanted to walk through and see what they sell had for merchandise and did not go there with the expressed intent of purchasing anything

Every time I go into Sephora I get more disappointed. The one employee that was there yesterday spent the duration of my trip there talking to friends, out side of Sephora in JC penny. Not paying attention to customers. I had to go up to her to ask for help more than 10 minutes after I walked in. I was looking at spending a bit of money there, but only bought one thing. Every time I go to Sephora I get more disappointed, if you don’t look like you have money or have a face of makeup on they won’t pay attention to you. I prefer ulta. Sorry not sorry, Ulta employees don’t think their better than everyone and actually provide good customer service.

I was ready to purchase several items at the River Hills Mall store today....when I took them to the counter, and the cashier told me one of the items was MORE than what the sign said it was....I politely said No. This is on sale for $14.99 Her response was Go look at the sign. Her attitude and tome of voice was enough to drop all my merchandise and walk out! Before I DID....I went back to where the sign was to verify the price....and I was right. I walked back to the cashier and said The price is $14.99. Next time YOU need to check the price I walked out without making any purchases! This is the 2nd time I have had HORRIBLE customer service at JC Penny in the past 2 months. Could be a good indication why I dont shop there more often!!
