Just picked up my car from the Body Shop, after it was hit on the side of the road about a month ago. I cannot thank Amber enough for helping me through this process of getting my car repaired as well she continue to contact the insurance company on my behalf to get everything done correctly. We shopped around last time, because the EV we purchased was quite volatile in cost (as most EVs are in general)-lots of Nissan dealers failed to provide competitive quotes, or a quote at all (three of those, w/a few repeat requests)-every other Nissan dealer was just under a couple of thousand dollars more-this is the second EV weve purchased from Mankato Motors (2015 and 2020)-my only one complaint ever was, their EV quick charger is down every once in a while (happens to almost every Nissan dealer Ive been to, seem EV charges anywhere can be hit an miss)-great follow-up from our Salesperson Cary-best of all, they delivered our car 80 miles away to Twin Cities - that was really nice!

I’ve bought many vehicles from Mankato Motors! Our salesman Jason True is always great to work with. The only problem I have is with Service. Our normal service guy is great! Mark goes above and beyond to get the job done right. With that being said Dominic will never ever help me again. If we need service done on one of our vehicles we will wait for Mark. Dominic is rude, careless, and just plain full of himself. I’ve never been treated so terrible.

Let me start off by saying I normally dont write reviews, however I feel its necessary for others to know this since vehicles are not cheap. We purchased a GMC Sierra from here a couple years ago. Within not even a month of us getting the truck we had to purchase four new tires because they all kept getting low of air. After getting new tires and received the ones that were originally on the truck not one but ALL four tires had patches on them. Also it wasnt only one patch on each tire a couple tires had more than one patch on them! Then one day it was raining and I noticed water falling on me. I looked up and saw water dripping through the top of the truck into the inside! I am still very disappointed with their quality of work. I would never purchase a vehicle from here again or recommend them to anyone I know.

I worked with Hunter Ellis on purchasing a new to me car. While he is a sales person he knew exactly what I needed and found me the perfect car within my budget even if it wasnt a specific brand or the highest price tag. Every person that I spoke to at Mankato Motors helped me out, when it came to getting my interest rate lowered or explaining how a warranty works, I felt very supported. If you are in the market for a new car, I HIGHLY suggest going to the gentleman at the Volkswagen dealership. Thank you!

Brought my car in to have corrosion warrantee done, and got a run around about having parts, not having parts, then when the car came back, it was covered in bondo instead of replacing panels (found bondo on the tail light and between the bumper and fender), the paint was a disaster (didn’t match, and metallic flake was pooled up in spots), and the over spray was covering the entire car from the glass, headlights and taillights, plastic trim, and carbonfiber. Brought it to their attention and they made me wait WEEKS before going over it. I DO NOT TRUST ANYONE working for Mankato motors. They’re profit hungry and will lie to your face. They higher inexperienced workers so they can pay cheap labor and give subpar cars back. If it wasn’t for the fact that I do automotive detailing, I doubt anyone would have noticed the defects. DONT TRUST YOUR CAR WITH THEM, PERIOD!!!

Truly a wonderful place to purchase! In our case, our first vehicle! We have to rave not only the quality of the product but the quality of their customer service team! We worked directly with Gabriel who began the journey with us! Yes, purchasing your first vehicle is indeed a journey! We went to Mankato motors for the reviews, just like I’m writing today. We notice a trend with the associate Gabriel and we took a chance. We reached out and we were very honest about what we can afford and our credit score. We were given some options and went in. Gabriel was so knowledgeable about the vehicle and so helpful and explained the process to us. Not only did we feel that he went over and beyond of what the definition of “customer service” is but we could tell he had such a passion to help us find the right fit for us. As our first attempt to purchase fell through, we were treated with grace, kindness and he took a situation that was stressful and reassured us that he will help us find the right car for us and in our budget. We went home and yes we felt a little defeated but we felt reassured in working with Gabriel that we would get a car soon. A couple days had passed and we received a call from Gabriel letting us know he found a Ford Edge 2015 vehicle in our budget and we were approved!! He sent us a video of the interior and his team worked with us to pick it up on Friday 3/12. Gabriel and his team worked on our schedule and yes stayed after hours!! Who does that???? They do!! I work on cars. Came in for a programing on a key fob. They wouldnt do it cause check engine light and abs light. Was told I need a new bcm and need reprogrammed which is hundreds more. Well the abs light I fixed it was a broken wire on one of the hubs. Im extremely upset and telling friends and family about my experience. I came in wanting something done and they wouldnt do it. I have 3 kids and I need the factory remote start before winter comes

Sales was good no judgement. Service on the other hand they want to charge me to scan my truck that I paid over 20 grand for just to see if it was a faulty read on my check engine. Greedy and unacceptable. Found out it was just because of how I filled my gas. They tried to convince me that everywhere else will charge me to hook up to a scanner. Really sad to call yourself Nice then you try to take advantage.

If read only one review about Mankato Motors, let it be this one. My first experience here was awesome. Stephanie made my daughter and I feel comfortable from the first minute. At no time did we feel pressured to buy anything. We gave her our list of wants and she found the vehicles best suited to our desires. We test drove them, instead if pressuring us they encouraged us to discuss it over lunch. I will recommend these guys to anyone, and I will be back.

I dropped off my truck to get a drive shaft put in took several days which was OK but when I picked up my truck I noticed a small scratch and Dent under the extended cab door trim went open my extended cab door and it will not open I called the service department they denied everything did not even try to ask anybody in the back if anything went wrong asked to speak to a manager days have gone by yet I have not gotten a response back-and yes Ive called back several times still no response I notice there were some animosity because there was a new manager that should not have anything to do with me :Mankato motors made it right... better late than never

Jason True and Jason Wenk, along with the rest of the Mankato Motors staff are top notch when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. They listen to your needs and try to get you in to the best vehicle for those needs, not try to sell you the most expensive or most trendy vehicle. Had a very pleasant experience leasing a new car. No pressure from Cary, he was very helpful in determining what we needed as a family. Cary was friendly, talkative, and efficient. The whole process took much less time than we thought it would, and Cary explained the process the whole way through.
