Best Buy Mankato has always been a pleasant buying experience knowledgeable sales staff and a really great manager
Curb side pick up works great but forget speaking to a actual Mankato store employee via phone. Which is rediculious policy that impacts sales for those who live 30 minutes or more away from a best buy store. This really encourages potential customers to shop someplace else where they can talk to an actual store employee at the store you intend to shop at.
They didnt have what I wanted on hand, but they were able to ship it to my house free of charge the next day.
Paola was very nice and fast. She quickly located what I wanted and I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Very good service. Red haired kid that I initially talked to swore twice, but she was more than eager to help instead and talk intelligently.
Kinda steep im price but they do have a good selection. Not as limited as walmart or target.
Not sure why I keep going back to this store, but today and two other times I recieved no customer service at all. Today I was in the store about 15 minutes and not one person come up to me to see if I needed any help. I wanted to buy something but no one wanted to help me. When I walked out of the store empty handed today not one of the 4 employees standing there talking to each other, asked if I found what I was looking for in the store
Smaller Best Buy, and a little understocked. But the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable.
Website is easy to use and you can order online and pick up in a few hours if your product is in stock.
Tentative staff on the floors but waited in line for longer than necessary. There was 1 cashier open and several at customer service and on the sales floor. Took the crew a bit before they called me over to the customer service counter (even though there were no customers there either).

The car audio geek squad guy was very knowledgeable and was patient with me . It was a good experience buy new audio equipment for my car.

Employees were a little on too if me like I was someone who needed to be watched but overall 7/10 for customer service found what I needed in less than 10 mins and was out the door.
Nobody offered to help but that was fine we only found one option of what we were looking for and it was an older version with less positive ratings. So we went online and ordered what we were looking for, a better warranty, better quality, better rating,, more for money and $30 cheaper.

Best Buy is a joke. The Geek Squad guys are good. But is there a correct price tag on or around most items. No. I spend more time looking for an associate than i do shopping. I have been misled by 90 percent of the staff. When they would only let you in by appointment, well I made one and as requested called when I arrived on time. Only to be told to make another appointment and hung up on, while im standing right out side. That was a supervisor who did that, ill leave his name out because thats what Im about. Entire company seems like they just opened yesterday and questions that seem up there alley and should be common sense are answered with false information. Best But do better or shut down. And quit over pricing the stuff you sell. Your the Wal-Mart of electronics act like it!
Phone hold time of 30 minutes. This is 2pm on a Wed. Paid for same day shipping and it was changed to a later date. My mind races with the kind of peril the store and its team members may be in. Why wont they answer? I thought of phoning a safety officer to request a wellness check, but maybe that is dramatic. The data suggests 2pm on Wed. is not peak business hours.
Staff were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. They earned the stars, unfortunately, the corporation eliminated any chance of a higher rating.My issue was that the Best Buy website listed a special on the product I intended to purchase and they would not honor the advertisement. I have always heard Best Buy was great to deal with and their price match eliminated any chance of walking out empty handed... Unfortunately they wouldnt even honor a special listed on their own website!
I hadnt been to Best Buy in awhile, but they sell inexpensive wireless headphones. My fiance already has a pair that he loves, so we bought another one for a Christmas present. Sony brand headphones that last up to 15 hrs. They are connected to each other but do not plug into your device, the cord just rests on the back of your neck. Only $24.

This review is specific to the Mankato location. Their staff has been great to deal with in every category. Best Buy shipped me the wrong product and the Manager spent 40 minutes helping me fix the issue. From a phone perspective, they answered every question accurately and provided me with the right information when it comes to mobile services. BETTER than the Verizon stores I have dealt with. I 100% recommend using them for your mobile needs.

Best Buy Mankato is always fantastic to work with! I love walking in, asking what I am looking for and then being taken directly to what I need, all while getting great advice on the product. Skip buying online and guessing what you will get and go to this convenient store and get it right away with help from a human! They price match most stores as well!
The cashier that checked me out, Didnt say hello or great me, instead she said are you ready? In a very rude and attitude way and she also rolled her eyes at me, I will not return to this store and that is because of that cashier, if that is the kind of people you want to employ they are going to lose a lot of customers.. I also voiced to her that she needs to learn customer service skills she was so rude!
I love Best Buy!! I now order online and they alert me when my order is ready and they walk it out to my car!!! The best customer service!!!!

Went to Geek Squad for IPhone repairs that were under warranty. Fun, friendly, knowledgeable crew. Even recommended good food nearby while we waited. They completed repair in one hour as promised.

Went in looking for a smart tv an got a bigger one for less.
I ordered online and did curbside pickup. I got there and was trying to figure out how to let them know I was there. Someone showed up at my door and asked if they could help, showed them on my phoneand in less than 25 minutes I had what I ordered. I will do that again really simple.
2 stars because the managers help was greatly appreciated for picking out auto gear, but as for getting the automotive department To call you back is very poor. I have called and left a message 3 Different times 3 different days with no call back!!!!
Im not a fan of Best Buy in general for numerous reasons but this Best Buys employees are probably the best in the area.

The managers, Brandon & Matt, took our situation that started out as a nightmare of miscommunication on both sides, and turned it around completely. I couldnt be more thankful for their professionalism in customer service. Their understanding and attention to detail was second to none. We had never had a problem like this before, and as far as I could tell, they hadnt either. It took 3 1/2 hrs. to fix our problem, but when it was complete, I was 100% satisfied. They made sure of it! I cant say thank you enough to them and their entire staff. They were amazing!!

I called to get information on a washer and dryer that I want to purchase. I went through the automated prompts and was put on hold. I waited for over 10 minutes and no one answered my call. It would have been nice if someone could have picked up the line and let me know they would get to me as soon as possible. Instead I listened to hold music and the phone clicking every minute. This is not the first time this has happened, but it is the first time calling this particular Best Buy.

You lost a sale today and I really wanted to buy from a MN company. I like when I can call and talk to someone and that speaks fluent English I must add. I had a simple one liner question but wasted most of my morning trying to but an unlocked phone. Bought it from another company and found something else you provide. Paid $20 less because they were nice enough to price match and had the other product for less. Never would have found this otherwise The $20 hardly covers the time I wasted, but I had a great experience with a knowledgeable person on the other end of the phone at the competition. Not everyone likes being forced into an online and phone waiting game regardless. Hire quality phone staff and enough!

I found the cable I need even when a worker told me they run out.
Charged $90 restocking fee to return a camera less than 24 hours after purchase. Due to Covid, sales associate came outside, recommended camera for our needs. Never was a restocking fee mentioned. He got it wrong, which we discovered when we got the camera home. We returned it the next day, never used, and they slapped us with $90 fee! Crazy. Appealed to the manager, no help. Appealed to Better Business Bureau, they said store would call us and ultimately claimed they’d called us. We can of course prove they never did — no voice mail or record of calls. We feel badly for all businesses trying to survive in this pandemic, but hitting a customer with a $90 fee when they were 1) unable to go in and compare products, 2) completely reliant on a salesperson’s (incorrect) recommendation, 3) never informed of the restocking fee is WRONG. We have been loyal customers for years, this is it. We can order online from Amazon or other online stores and get better service with no punitive fees for returns.

Geek squad is normally awesome to work with but the manager was very rude and not understanding at all today with my issues. The rest of the squad has always been amazing to work with, do not work with the manager if you go in. He very rude and not customer friendly. Poor excuse and example of a manager.

Just bought a TV for 1000 dollars I stood it up in the bed of the truck as told got home tv was shattered they will do nothing about it.
I am not happy. Went to purchase a keyboard and my check was declined by telecehck. Despite the fact that there was several thousand dollars in the account. Worst Buy company wouldnt even try to override. Wou give negative stars if possible. Last time for a while that I will go there
I was told that if I ordered an item that I would get it the next day. I could have driven to Shakopee to get it but if it would have been delivered the next day it would have been fine. All day the item said it was shipped then at 8:50, tracking changed to 3 days later. Had I known that I would have driven to the other store and just bought the item I needed.Bad service, full of lies.
The customer service here cannot be beat! The staff are so helpful and they will take the time to go over all your needs from one end of the store to the other.

I noticed my phone was fast charging intermittently. Sometimes it would take almost 11 hours to charge so I went to Best Buy and the sales guy tested my charging cord. We found out my charging cord needed to be replaced. I bought a new cord and my phone charges just fine now. I had just went to Sprint to ask about the same problem and the people at Sprint said I had to replace my charging port and they could do it right away for $75. I dont trust Sprint because they are on commission. In my experience, Sprint employees will do anything to make you part with a buck. I am very happy with the way my charging cord works that I purchased at Best Buy.
Best buy will go the way of sears and RadioShack within 2 years. Overpriced. More employee vehicles than customer vehicles throughout the day.

Found what I needed, after talking to a 2 associates.
My experience is not based on the service of all employees of Mankato Best Buy store but some of them were pretty difficult to deal with. There had very unfriendly and arrogant attitude as well as complete lack of knowledge of what they were doing. I am an elite plus customer according to their system but had pretty bad experience at times. Very inconsistent.
They didnt have the Samsung Note 8 replacement screen protector I needed, but they were nice & helpful.
We needed a new laptop but didnt want to spend too much thay were very helpful we found one for $650 ...but the store hours on the door are wrong it says 10AM that thay open but thats not right so check the hours on line
Customer service has went downhill with the newer employees!
