Brought my bike in for a repair that I thought was going to involve a new throttle cable and a ton of labor.These dudes had this thing fixed in five minutes.They were also kind enough to replace my sprocket and chain on short notice. These guys have a cool shop, lotsa stuff for sale, and staff with good attitudes.

I was in from out of town and needed a repair (notmotorcycle related). They were very friendly and able to help. I feel if they would do this for a non motorcycle related need they will go above and beyond to help with cycle related issues. Many Thanks!

I was looking for a new helmet about a month ago and a set of gloves too. I walked in and Bill helped me find the right helmet. He spent around 30 minutes with me going over them until I was satisfied. Today I walked in to buy a new jacket because I was so impressed the first time, Bill immediately says I know the one for you. Sure enough he took my upstairs grabbed a jacket and handed it to me. Perfect fit, exactly what I was looking for. The great thing about the staff here is they are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to spend time with you to make sure youre comfortable with your purchase. They also dont push the most expensive products your way, they recommend what they think will work best for you, and usually it does. If you want quality gear and quality customer service, you dont need to look any further.

This place is simply the best for everything motorcycle. Many shops dont specialize in sport bikes but the owner races crotch rockets regularly. Super knowledgeable staff, very fair prices, and wont charge you more than is absolutely necessary if something needs repaired. I wont take my bike anywhere else!

My wife and I needed a couple of helmets on short notice. Bill took care of us. My wife had the opportunity to ask all the questions she wanted and Bill treated both she and I with respect. Despite our lack of current knowledge about helmets, he took the time to explain everything and didnt try and steer us to the more expensive options, just gave us the information we needed and assisted with the decision making. Which resulted in us buying what were (to us) a couple of pretty nice helmets. He even steered me to one that was on sale! Dont know what more one could ask. Oh - we got a tour of the shop - cool. The only motorcycle shop in Kansas worth going to. Without out a doubt the most knowledge in the business. The staff has countless years of knowledge wrenching and riding bikes than anyone in the area. Iv gotten quite a bit of work done here, and its obvious he has the best mechanics in the business.If the knowledge and skill of their craft doesnt pull you in. Its the community. I can say without a doubt that this shop shaped my view of manhattan and the mid-west riding scene. The guys here are welcoming and are willing to help with all your riding goals. Many of the riders who frequent the shop are also active at the racetrack on the weekends and more than willing to share their knowledge to help other riders become safer and more confident riders.There is not a bad thing to be said about this shop. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. These guys eat, sleep, and ride motorcycles and it shows in the care they have for their customers.

Stopped in for the first time while stationed at Fort Riley since 2009. I just received my MC license and I was extremely impressed with the amount of inventory in such a small space. The Man who approach me had to be the owner because he was very professional and allowed me to browse without any scrutiny. That was a major plus. I must have looked at everything three or four times with absolute interest. I felt very much at home and will most definitely go back again very soon. Listening to the employees talk while I was shopping sounded very knowledgeable and professional. They will shoot straight with you no BS. I took my bike to Motorcycle Supply Shop because I could not get it up and running. I had a couple of people tell me that I should not use them that they are no good, but I did not listen to them.I dropped my bike off on a Thursday an by Monday they called me with the issue. Thats a quick turn around time and Great SERVICE.Not only is the Owner but his service personnel were great, friendly, very helpful, and professional.

I bought a set of Tires from Bill this week and Travis mounted them for me today.What a great experience from a small local service company. Travis did an excellent job of making sure my bike was road worthy before I rode it off!He double and tripe check the bike, took it for a road test, thanked me and told me to come back and see them for any other bike needs.Very pleasant experience!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

While on a road trip I got stranded with a flat tire, and then I pinched my spare tube. These guys fixed my flat for a reasonable price and then drove me 15 miles out of town back to my bike for free. Judging from the display bikes in the shop they seemed to tailor mostly to sportbikes, but after looking around I noticed they have a pretty good selection of gear for all styles.

Bill is awesome! Takes care of his customers no matter what and is honest about EVERYTHING and wont gouge you on repairs, maintenance or gear. I lived in the area for about five years and would consider Bill not only a top notch business owner, but a great friend. He took me to my first track day and took the time to teach me how to ride the proper way. Keep rockin MC Supply!

I am not at all a difficult person to work with, but time and time again, they act like thats the case. I am not going to beg someone to take my money. Unfortunately this is the only motorcycle repair shop in Manhattan. They did electrical work twice on my bike. Both times, I had to fix it, because their connections failed. Soldering is simple, but they use crimp or snap connectors. One of the ground wires wasnt a secure connection. This was easy to spot, but I took it in multiple times for a short, and they didnt identify the problem. I had new hardware put on and it came loose within a week. Tightening bolts enough and making secure electrical connections should be standard procedure. If I can find a better place in Topeka, Ill go the extra distance for better service.

Not many people in customer service take their time to understand what you need and what you want, but this shop does exactly that. They dont recommend the most expensive, they recommend the best and what fits you and your needs whether its parts or a new helmet(which they size to you perfectly). Also, I wouldnt trust anyone else to wrench on my bike, at high speeds a mechanical failure is not good, and the mechanics here ensure that isnt a worry when your moving at speed. The employees here are all experienced racers and mechanics, and know their craft!

Seriously, who do you want wrenching on your bike or getting advice about your next piece of gear, guys that work and race their bikes on tracks like Daytona and Road America, or some guy that might ride his bike if the weather is nice?? (Nothing against fair weather riders, I am one)So maybe you can get that new helmet you want online for $50 cheaper, but is it really going to fit you correctly? These guys know how helmets are actually supposed to fit so it can do some good during a crash, and will spend hours of their time to make sure youre in the correct size and shape helmet!! The customer support and information you will get is second to none.If you want a shop with a true motorcycle atmosphere this is the place to go. Ive been going for 9 years now and havent found a better shop anywhere, which is why I will drive 3 hours to Manhattan instead of 1 hour to Wichita or Tulsa.

Bill and the rest of the crew at Motorcycle Supply have never steered me wrong since I first started out as a rider. The first time I went to the shop, he had me test drive multiple helmets to find the perfect fit for me as different manufacturers build to different head shapes. What feels comfortable for five minutes may be throbbing after two hours. I felt ridiculous just hanging out in the shop wearing a helmet for an hour, but it definitely paid off after I found out Scorpion helmets were not as comfortable after 15 minutes of wearing them for me.After I dropped my Ninja 500, the guys saved me quite a bit by showing me after market blinkers, clip ons, and levers that were cheaper than OEM. It was hard to argue with the cost savings, especially since the Ninja 500 had the vintage 90s look to it and it was my daily ride, not some showroom bike. I ride to get from point A to point B, not to look good.Something telling about the place is that once youve been there a few times, you notice that the shop is a very close knit place. The employees like to work there and they arent just punching a clock. Each of them has a passion for riding. I think Ive seen Travis with a cast on more than I have without, but thats stunting for ya.As everyone points out, their prices arent the best in town, but I feel they make up for that with their level of expertise and level of customer service. The people working there have a broad mix of race, street, off road, and stunt riding experience.

I’m a moped man and I had some troubles with it and if these guys weren’t the easiest people to take it in there and drop it off. Super nice people can’t wait to see the kind of work they do.

Like any brick and mortar shop the most important part is their experience. Any time Ive had a question they have either been able to answer it in incredible detail, or point me in the right direction. Specifically they are incredibly good at helping you select a helmet that fits properly and fits your budget. Prices for helmets are very similar to online.A little bit of a limited selection on gloves/jackets/pants if you are picky. They also have a stock of parts new and used in the back. I came in with a broken mirror (wife learning how to ride), and the guessed my bike and came out with a very similar mirror in short order. I will always go here first before looking online.

I only wish that I could rate this place higher than five stars. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and really went all out to help me get my bike back in working order.

Great selection of higher end helmets. Most places just sell sub 150 dollar hemets. Which is ok, a cheap helmet is better than no helmet.

I upgraded my bike this year to a 2013 Suzuki GSXR1000. Everyone kept telling me I needed to be careful on it. Of course me being the way I am I had to learn the hard way. I hadnt even had this thing for 6 months and ended up wrecking it. I had done some much damage to the bike it was going to be a total loss. I talked with Bill and let him know my intentions with the bike. It was still mechanically sound just a lot of cosmetic damage. Bill never tells you what you should get or just tries to sell you something. All the items he sells he makes sure it is something you will enjoy. I have never seen him sell a helmet just because someone likes the look of it, or it fits OK. He always has someone try on multiple helmets to find the one that is right for them. So that’s exactly what they did with my motorcycle. They didnt just go through and slap new parts on it. They replaced the parts that needed to be and repaired what parts they could. During this whole time I was just worried about getting it fix. Bill took into consideration what I really wanted. Even though at the time I didnt know I wanted it. When I got it back my motorcycle looked, sounded, and rode better than when I first got it. For some reason ever since I got it I did not care for the look or sound of the exhaust. I had mentioned this a couple times to Bill. One of the things that was slightly damage was the exhaust but of course when we were talking big numbers for the repairs it was the least of my worries. Well yesterday Bill told me to come get it. Heading to get the bike I was expecting to go pick it up and it look close to new. When I got there the bike looked like it would if I had the extra funds to put on the modifications I wanted. All the damage I had done was gone and the new black Zero Gravity windscreen and Yoshimura exhaust really made this thing stand out. They managed to do everything that needed done and them some and still come in under budget. I would recommend Motorcycle Supply to everyone for any motorcycle need from oil change to complete overhaul. Even with it being freezing last night the ride home was nice. A huge Thank You to Bill, Travis, And Matt for all the hard work(and putting up with me).
