The staff were fantastic but the card readers to pay are a humiliating failure. Why does Dollar Tree headquarters prefer to humiliate every customer because they refuse to replace antiquated card readers that decline our transactions as if WE don’t have the money? It happened to every customer at checkout. I thought the guy in front of me was going to have a mini breakdown before the clerk had him run his card another 2 (two) times, that’s 3 (three) total, so the antiquated card reader could finally accept his payment. Then it was my turn to step up to the humiliating experience. Not ok.I think the world knows that Dollar Tree is making record profits so humiliating us must be for fun or for greed. The employees try their best to calm the humiliating situation but it still sucks for them too.

The manager is smoking and gossiping or in office. Now manager of clean organized new store. Waiting for the new one to be a filthy,messy store.

Friendly and quick staff. Every visit there is a line and they get through it so quickly. A lot of options.

Who ever is the new short black girl is you rock and keep it going you will get that store back together. I seen you for the past 3 days and you been fixing and dusting...proud of you for stepping up

Big, big improvements at the Manhattan Dollar Tree these days! I believe they have a new manager? The store is now clean and well organized. No longer items all over the floor or piled in boxes. I have been able to receive great help by employees who know what they are doing and seem customer service oriented. I’ve always liked Dollar Tree’s bargain priced party and wrapping supplies—keep up the good work—and thanks!

Always can find something cute for stocking stuffers, birthday baskets, etc. Place is always a mess, but so is my house. I guess its kinda nd of like having toddlers running around touching and messing with everything. Lol Employees are always friendly.

The store is a complete mess...

My most recent visit was subpar. The floors were disgusting, products just flung off the shelves laying periodically on the floor. The carpet desperately needs vacuumed, and carpet cleaned. Shelves were extremely disorganized, and not stocked. It was not a welcoming environment to shop. And quite frankly the dollar tree website is unfriendly to receive feedback. So a google review it is.

The workers are great. Management was really and short when being asked a question.

Nice clean Dollar Tree in a good location plenty of parking handicap accessible lots of handicap parking all of the parking is free the store is very clean well-put-together management is on site and helpful the staff is stalking or cashing people out and bringing things to the front of shells. I would recommend this Dollar Tree to anyone that needs to make a quick stop here or a long stop maybe getting stuff for your child on their way to college someone moving out or just to fill party birthday bags they have helium balloons and they do fill up for $1 and Medicine here also they have cards of every season you cant go wrong at this Dollar Tree everything in here is $1 from a quick stop shop to a long shop you wont go wrong at this one.

Walked in today at 5:00 pm to pick up some quick essentials like I always do and was greeted rudely by the clerk saying that they were closed. Their sign out front said that they don’t close until 10:00 pm so I am confused. I guess I’ll just go to Walmart and spend my money there.

I love Dollar Tree, it is a great spot to pick up decorations and supplies as a daycare teacher. However, this particular Dollar Tree is disgusting. The baskets are full of grime, there are items spilling out of the aisles onto the floor. Nothing is organized and it is impossible to find anything. I never see staff doing anything around the store, only standing up front. This place needs some new employees or management, it is not acceptable.

This place lets me get easy stuff for wrapping presents. Also great selection of candy, dishware etc. I love this place. They have a hard time keeping staff here I think but the ones I meet are so kind.

This place is always well stocked and they even have a grocery part of the store! The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean environment. The place is normally busy but well worth the trip to save so much money!

This is a huge store and that is the only good thing I can say about it. The shelves/hooks are empty and there are boxes all over. They never clean or straighten up or vacuum. This is by far the worst, most disgusting Dollar tree I have ever been to. While we were there they had one checker, Cherry dealing with a very long line and the other people working were in the office. We will not go back, ever.

This store does a great job. Just needs more canned food inventory.The Hanover products are exceptional.Wish they still had the smaller cans of baked beans.

This is absolutely the worst Dollar Tree I have ever seen. It is disorganized, filthy, understocked, short staffed, inconvenient, and gross. It looked like a bomb went off in every aisle. Stuff was all over the floor. It was hard to find what I was looking for and many food items were weeks past the sell by date. Halloween is a month out and they did not have a lot of Halloween stock out. The cashier was nice but overwhelmed.

Every Dollar Tree is a little bit different and I like this Manhattan store. Its big, well laid out, and of course everything is a dollar. The location is good and easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

I’ve shopped at many dollar tree’s and am always amazed by the organization and available products. But the Manhattan location, is a major disappointment. I would go once or twice a week at least, but now I won’t. The store is a mess, not stocked and boxes are just sitting in the aisles. Customer service is usually good, but employees are answering their phones while attending to the clerk position as several customers are waiting in line. The one and only line.

Love Dollar Tree & it was the most stocked Ive seen it in months. Dont understand why Mhks is always under stocked but any other DT is fully stocked??? When I arrived two employees up front chatting. They did greet me. However couldnt time be better spent stocking. When leaving a customer had a full basket, I mean full. Another clerk came & got me to check me out. Nice lady!

Everything a dollar pretty straight forward. I went in for nasal spray it works the best and cant beat the price, but they didnt have any on the shelf. A employee told me hed dig it out of the storage it took a couple days but he got it out ASAP.

Its what you would expect from a dollar store, shelves in slight disarray, many items of lesser quality. This store is better than some Ive been in though. Good selection of holiday items on hand.

Lots of inexpensive goodies for kids, crafters, and just plain folks. Household, personal, seasonal, and gift items abound for just $1! Cheerful, helpful staff and clean surroundings are the norm.

Never ever stocked and completely unorganized. Also feels and looks very dirty. Getting rid of the carpet would probably help with the cleanliness. Shelves are NEVER updated. Very poor excuse for a dollar tree.

I used to shop in this store. The store is a mess. Tons of items on the floor, boxes of store items to be stocked on the shelves are in the middle of the isles. They look like they are very short of staff. I hope management would look into this because this store used to be very clean and organized.

There were no shopping carts available, but the manager had 2 tied up with empty boxes. When I asked him to empty one, he said no. At least, thats what I think he said. It was hard to tell since his mouth was full of tobacco. They lost a good customer because I shopped there 2-3 times a month.

This store is disgusting. There is so much trash on the floor that its dangerous. It has been like this for quite some time. The management obviously is getting paid to do nothing. Someone needs to go check this out

Cant really complain because its $1 per item, but the customer service here could use a boost. No one is rude or anything but talking on your cell phone while you ring up customers is a bad look.

To the customer service woman that helped me on 9/21/2017 with my sons birthday balloons THANK YOU she was very nice helpful and pleasant its been awhile since I have been in that store and was able to find such great customer service I think I will start coming back again!!!!!

Worst Dolla Tree I have ever been to. I thought they were actually closing the entire store? It looked like they were having a store inventory clearance sale. Boxes everywhere, messy, empty shelves. The staff is nice and friendly.

I love dollar trees products however I cant give this location 5 stars because of their employees. Today the cashier smelled terrible, his shirt was inside out yet covered in stains and there was loads of dirt under every fingernail. His long red hair was a tangled mess and I was just too disgusted by his odor and appearance to bother waiting in line. The other cashier was slow and uninformed about their products.

Super duper!!! I had not honestly been here in a while. WOW! I actually found a lot of items I wanted and needed for my wedding.

Worst Dollar Tree we have ever seen. Looks a hot mess and very disorganized. Shelves look empty. Floors are dirty. Thus was our 2nd visit reluctantly. And they didnt have what we needed anyways. We wont visit again if we can help it.

Sorry... but this dollar tree is awful. Poorly managed is the only conclusion I can come to. Shelves are a disaster and they are out of many Dollar Tree staples almost every time I visit. Still boxed stock in the back is almost ceiling high and almost fills the whole space. I actually have found myself going to Dollar Tree in Topeka more often than this location. Hoping it will turn around some day.

The Dollar Tree in Manhattan Kansas, is the most disgusting store Ive ever been to. It is nasty and filthy. Shelves are beyond disgusting. Shelves are halfway empty and no organization. I have been to a lot of Dollar Trees and this is the worst of the worst. If you want to increase your sale, start with cleanest and instock.

Worst dollar tree store in existence. Filthy dirty greasy looking carpet, most merchandise thrown onto shelving as if employees just dont care. Dont even think about being able to use a shopping cart there are never any available to use as I was told by the manager it was too much trouble to go out and retrieve them from the parking lot. So they were put away in the back. Not a single person working there ever greeted a customer or asked if anyone needed assistance. The bathroom looks like something out of a truck stop nightmare and smelled akin to a sewage dump and animal rendering plant. With more dirt and filth in the corner than is needed to cultivate corn. This place is a total disaster.

This store used to be my favorite Dollar Tree, but now it’s in terrible shape. It is in need of major TLC.
