Great place to get hard to find crafting materials as well as seasonal decor. Regular prices are a bit high but there are almost always good sale prices.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They were able to show me exactly what I was looking for, and several options. They were also able to help me figure out exactly how much material I needed and which material to purchase.Remember to download the app for a good coupon! I only go there a couple times each year so I had to download it before checking out. Its worth it. I saved $10 on one item - 50%.

Love the variety of their fabrics and all the other craft supplies. Staff was friendly while still multitasking and getting their designated tasks done. If you need craft supplies this is the place for you.

Price at the shelves was one and at the register another. Never knew 80% off 9.99 equalled 2.99 until now. Guess MY math leaves a little to be desired LOL!!

I mean its ok but dont try their curbside pickup unless you want to sit in the parking lot for 30 minutes only to be told the one item you paid for was out of stock. I called when I got there, waited, and I actually had to call again to find out. They would be much better if they hired more staff, didnt seem to be their fault at all. It wasnt even busy, theyre just that under staffed. A third cashier would help.

Just stopped in to do a return, but I love Joanns. This one is smaller than the one I use to shop at in Texas, but if you cant find it in the store you can definitely find it online.

Upset that you cant use more than one coupon at a time. I live in Indiana we could use lots of coupons there.Why not in Kansas or Texas?They should help the peoples out by saving the money at time. I have more crafts that I do with my kids and grandkids too.

This store is usually well-organized and has enough staff, but occasionally there is a line at the cutting table, and some staff are not as knowledgeable as they could be.

I came to return a defective chalk paint wax. I was told to talk to Cheryl. This manager is Soooooo rude. She woke up a the wrong side of the bed!! I bought a defective item there and she acts like Im a bother!!Im headed to Hobby Lobby where they are customer service friendly.OMG! So rude!!!!!

Wife likes them. They never have high ticket items in stock. Many times weve taken the little cards up to the front for a higher priced items just to be told they dont have any. Why do you put the cards out if you dont have the product?

I dont do much sewing anymore. But Joanns is the one store in Manhattan to have a wide variety of sewing materials. They have all kinds of material for clothing to sewing home decor. A good selection of Hobby supplies.

I can find most of the things Im looking for here, tho not all. Can always go online if need to. People who work there are helpful & knowledgeable, when you can find them. Sometimes they are just very busy, so hard to find help sometimes. They have some very interesting items for kids to make.

Great customer service! Topeka didnt have the yarn that I needed and when I tried to order the yarn online to pick up at Manhattan, I was unable to do so but the staff was willing to let me buy over the phone and had the yarn bagged up for my husband to pick up on his way home from work.

Nice, clean, store. The only reason why its not 5 stars is because certain areas seem overcrowded, while others seem well placed. (This may not be the fault of anything other than building limitations.) There are a couple of employees that are excellent sources of knowledge, which is helpful. Theres certainly plenty of goods to make the creative side of you happy.

Helpful staff and nice selection

I’ve experienced terrible customer service from multiple employees at this location. They answer questions with a rude attitude. If you have more than two fabrics to be cut expect to be met by a visibly annoyed and rude employee. Today I was met at register with a eye roll when I asked to apply the best coupon to my order. All products purchased have been great but the staff is causing me to take my business elsewhere.

Jo-Anns is another place I give him a good rating because its always fun to go in and look around even if I dont buy anything.

JoAnn’s has a good selection and some really great prices and sales. That’s the upside! The downside is the customer service! They have some incredibly grumpy sales associates. The last dozen times I’ve been in there or called to see if they carry a particular item, no matter how chipper I am, the sales associate has responded as though it is a real inconvenience for them to even answer a question. Too bad, because it is a really nice little craft store.

This Joanns is a little smaller then most Ive been to. They also seem to have many empty spots all the time. They are ok when I absolutely need so.ething, but not my go to.

I was really looking forward to having Jo-Anns closer to where i live instead of having to drive across town to go to Hobby Lobby. I have been here a couple times to purchase crafting and scrap booking supplies. Because this store is smaller than Hobby Lobby its obvious they wont carry items Hobby Lobby will, so i would ask an employee at the check out if they have a certain item and when they have told me yes, they would call someone back to the area wherever said item is to help me. Unfortunately, the three times, on different occasions, when i was told someone was being sent back to help me, no one came. From what i observed, on one occasion, there were three employees working, the woman i asked about the item at check out and then two young teenage girls putting things away in an aisle. The lady at check out called both girls to ask if one of them would help me but neither one came. When i left i drove to Hobby Lobby to purchase my items. In my opinion, it is worth driving to Hobby Lobby. Their customer service has been very reliable in my past experiences.

Bad customer service. Rude and not helpful at all. Find a new job if you are so miserable. It’s literally called CUSTOMER service.

Try to use a 60% off coupon and they told us we couldnt for that item. We told them no where on the coupon said that we couldnt. They still wouldnt honor it. We left very unhappy. Will order on Amazon.

Im a huge crafter and unfortunately theres little options in Manhattan when it comes to getting sewing, baking, and paper craft accessories. I love Joanns for their selection but hate this particular stores customer service. I have had a couple of pleasant experiences, but for the most part, I can never get help or a clear answer. I mostly have dealt with the same store associates each time I go (maybe because I happen to go at the same time of day each time) and when I ask for help or insight, they either just stare at me or are condescending instead of helpful. I find myself going about once a week, sometimes twice, but I think I may just make the drive to Hobby Lobby instead. I go to JoAnns because they have so many coupons but half the time they dont apply anyways because you cant use them on sale items and usually what I need is on sale (like $2 off) so then my coupons are invalid. This past weekend I asked for help finding some fabric that I had seen a couple of weeks prior. When I asked the girl for help she literally just stared at me with no answer. So then I asked, do you know what Im trying to find? Then she said try the back. Then I said I went up and down all the aisles and didnt see it. Her answer, Its in the back. Go to the back. To which I responded I was just over there and I didnt see it. She said Well, its back there. for the record, it was NOT. I then began looking for a different product and asked someone completely different where to find it. She said Its over by the paint Never having had bought paint from the store I asked Wheres the paint, she answered In the paint aisle. -_- So then I asked, logically, Can you tell me where that is? Aisle number? Area? She then rolled her eyes at me and said she would show me when she finished cutting fabric. When she was done, (taking her time of course) she walked super fast, led me to the back and said here it is. Then turned and walked off. Usually people will ask if you need any other help but that wasnt the case. The store had just opened and already these people were over it. I just want to be able to walk into a place and get help when I need it or insight, I dont ever get that here. If I ask the opinion of a team member on fabric or how they think I should sew an item, its rare I get an honest answer. Im better off asking other customers. When I do encounter friendly team members it seems I only see them once or twice and never again. Good place to get your crafts if you already know what you need and are not looking for help tackling new to you projects. They will make you feel dumb when you ask questions.

Ok selection of fabrics and craft supplies. Had a nice embroidery section with everything I needed to fix some silk embroidery.
