Just wanted to give a shout out to Michael for great customer service. In one month I received two chips, he fixed them both without any issues. He really knows his job. Thanks Safelite and thanks to Michael!

We arrived for a assigned appointment and was met at the door by a tech who took over and fixed my windshield quickly.

Used Safelite through insurance to have a tiny chip in my windshield repaired. The chip was originally about the size of a mark from a Sharpie. Almost didn’t have it repaired because it was so small but was worried it could get worse. The repair caused a small crack which was annoying to look at but only about a 1/2 inch. After a few days, the crack spread and after 1 week the crack splintered off across my entire windshield. Safelite refused to replace the windshield.. I will never use Safelite again.

Customer service was very friendly, took no time to do the job, so far very satisfied. I suggest maybe making an appointment easier.

I took my van for them to fix a few rock cracks, less than a quarter in size. My insurance USAA paid for it. I’m giving 3 stars because I can still super see one of the cracks and because the day before I went there to ask for prices a guy told me it was 130 for the first crack and 20 for the second and 10 for the third one. Next day after the repair When I got the receipt it said that My insurance paid in total $65. How that works? No idea.

Fast service and good service thank you

Good service pre-covid and was happy with the work fixing my chips. Post-covid you go to the national answering machine and cannot get through to a human let alone someone in the local office. For that reason they wont get my business anymore.

I would give 0 stars if I could! Poor customer service and communication. Dont call you back when they say they will (even from the manager). Took 3 visits and its still NOT fixed correctly! I couldnt be anymore frustrated then I am now! Not to mention the marks that they made on the inside of the car while changing the windshield out twice. My husband takes such amazing care of his car and keeps track of everything that is done to it and everything has been great on it until now! We have used Safelite several times in other locations and always had great experiences but not this time with the Manhattan, Ks location. Not sure if we will use Safelite again in the future. Maybe if its a different location. We will see.

Michael at Safelite in Manhattan, Kansas repaired two chips in our windshield and did a fantastic job. The repaired spots werent even visible and the process was quick (20-30 minutes). Well be back if we have more window chips in the future! (Also, I scheduled and got in the same day for the fix. Excellent service!)

Good place to do business

I was in and out in a little less than an hour. Cleaned up the mess in the car better than I do it.

I had my brand new car for a week and a rock flung up and cracked my windshield. Was super upset and was afraid Id have to replace the whole thing. Remembered someone I knew used Safelite, so I figured Id give it a try. Got the appointment set, and found out that my insurance covers repairs! Alexander was my technician and was AMAZING!! Will forever use this company for any future damages.

I had my windshield replaced and the windshield camera recalibrated on my 2016 f150. I picked up my vehicle from Safelite and on my drive home noticed that my rear view mirror was loose and shaking from the windshield. The next day I came outside to find my review mirror and camera mount completely disconnected from the windshield and hanging by wires. My vehicle is no longer drivable until I can get ahold of an agent on Monday morning to fix this issue. I will not be coming back to Safelite after this experience. There needs to be quality checks done after installation.

Great on time on task personal service

I visited website to get a quote for my windshield that I needed replaced. Im kind of slow. When it comes to the web. But their site was easy even for me. Got my quote which I thought was reasonable. And I was done.

Broke a $500 piece of trim on my car and only made excuses about how its fragile and always breaks on every car. I did all the body work on my car and I removed them myself with no problem. didnt replace it but gave me a $50 discount on my already super expensive windshield replacement. Didnt use the right weather stripping on top of the windshield and now theres a trough that holdings a nice amount of water when it rains. Its perfect for creating the real life rust effect. 10/10 will not use safelite again.

Very informational and kind people. They are very fast and they let you know if anything changed in then way they worked before when they put thing back together. I will definitely be going back for my other window.

The service was great. The gentleman that came kept me updated on what time he thought he might be there so it was easier to plan my day. They did come to my job site which was nice but I had to pay a 34.99 mobile fee. Ive used Safelite before and they didnt use to charge the mobile fee to come out as that was part of the marketing scheme and gave them the advantage over others. I did have a piece that wasnt flush against the side and they happily came back out the next day to fix it. The gentleman was nice, professional and knowledgeable.

They have seamless insurance billing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The windshield repair is the best that I’ve had. They were quick and days later and a couple hundred miles later the repair is still good.

If you want your windshield to get worse, come to this place, they did a great job doing this

Quality, professional service

I saved $35.00 by bringing my vehicle to their shop in Manhattan. I had an 0800 appointment, I didnt want to hang out there for the wait so I walked across the yard to IHOP to meet some folks for breakfast. Before you know I got a text all done, WOW, only took about 45 minutes to install, took me longer to order and eat! The new windshield looks great, no leaks, were very pleased. They even had some K-tag replacement stickers from the State, just need to go online to transfer the number to the new one. Overall I had a super experience and will recommend Safelite to everyone!

Wish I would of given them no stars. What a lousy company! I got my windshield replaced with out no problem. But 34 days later the windshield randomly cracked in my garage. So I called the company told them what happen they is no problem we will replace it. Tech came out and look at it and was like sorry cant replace it with out charging you because their is a impact point. Do you see it? No, I dont sir... Sorry I am not replacing it unless you pay for it. I dont see any impact point at all I see a crack in the glass. Then he said well if the glass wouldve cracked it would of done during the 30 days.So my complaint is cheap glass and no customer loyalty... Its funny how they can see an impact point when there is not one there.. nice way to rip people off!!! Company standard the tech said glad its a company standard to be a crook and really bad customer service!!!! I will make sure I never recommend this company ever....

Arrived on time to our appointment, and thought they waved us into the garage. The two standing facing us, as we pulled in, didnt tell us to stop, and another person jumped out from around the corner to wave us out after pulling in. The two thought it was funny instead of stopping us before pulling all the way in.

Broken windshield from a turkey yesterday. Called safe lite about 11 am. Alexander was there this morning at 8:30. Done in 1 hour! Super efficient!

Clayton came by my apartment and immediately got to work. I really liked that before he started he let me know who he was and also what to expect at the end of the job. Throughout the process he remained very cordial and social while remaining attentive to his work. All around this was a positive experience and I would definitely recommend.

They replaced my window, they worked around the fact that i had to take my husband into work and came back to me once they finished up their other appointment. The service was quick, friendly and professional. I highly reccomend going to this company for any car repairs you need.

I got my windshield chip fixed efficiently in a short amount of time.

We were told on the phone when we made the appointment that the failure rate was less than 1% for fixing a chip in the windshield. However, at the appointment they cracked the windshield and at that point in time told us the failure rate was a 50% chance. They then failed to produce the receipt we signed that supposedly said we understood the 50% failure rate. Later, when on the phone with their customer service line, this shop apparently claimed they had offered us a discount on a replaced windshield, but that was never verbalized to us at the store. We feel that we were purposely mislead and that this shop doesnt conduct business honestly.

Went to get an estimate on a chip in my windshield (the chip occurred a couple of days ago when a semi threw a rock up) the guy went to check it out and proceeded to tell me that I’ve already had the chip fixed?? I told him I have not have it fixed and it only occurred a couple days ago so I need it fixed before it spreads. He continued to tell me that I’ve already had it fixed and there’s nothing they can do for me. I think I’d know if I’ve had my windshield repaired??? Ridiculous. Worst part was, he then asked me if I’d bought the car used because it could have been there since I got the car and that the previous owners had it fixed??? I’ve had the car for a year, so no. Very mad and gladly taking my money elsewhere.

Had an appointment for 8am, did not get my car in shop until 8:45 because they were holding a meeting. However they did get my vehicle done within a reasonable time. After my appointment I had to go into work so did not to get to check their work all that well until I got off of work that evening. Found that my seal was torn (my vehicle a brand new vehicle) My seal had just been flapping in the wind. Would not recommend to anyone.

Wouldnt recommend. They claimed the trim piece was already broke before they put windshield in. The trim piece was just fine before I took the car in. Now the trim is laying broken in my backseat.

Had a windshield replaced. They scratched up my A pillar, left tons of dirt and grime on my dash, and didnt fully putty the interior. Absolutely horrible job, and would definitely recommend going elsewhere!

I had them fill two chips. They came when expected and sent me notice of exactly who would be coming, including his picture. After repairing the chips in my windshield, you cant see the chips at all. Companies I have used in the past did not give the same results.
