We go to this place at least once a week The kids love it. It is relatively a healthy snack for the kids with some nutritional value. I guess I dont feel too bad and dont consider this at the same level of ice cream or candy. We will continue to visit this local business. The employees and the staff are nice and helpful.

The Boba is decent nothing too crazy. Has lots of different options as well as snacks like chips and candy.

I like the coffee at Bobaloca and the prices are good. I can also tell that the owner/operator cares a lot about his business and exemplifies great customer service. He even brewed coffee early for me once when I showed up before opening. The reason for the three stars: every time I go in, he tries to up-sell me on size or item. Generally, I just want a simple black coffee or cold brew, but he consistently asks How about an Americano? or Is a medium okay? after Ive ordered a small. I know its well-intentioned, but its preventing me from coming back because I feel that he consistently disregards my order to sell me something more expensive. Good place with a good-hearted crew behind the counter. I just dont want to be up-sold when I come in knowing exactly what I want. This experience is true of my roommates and friends as well. This is not the best tasting coffee spot. I had an espresso, and it was not very good. The baked goods are not that great either, but they dont make them do it is not their fault. The service was good. The inside was a little dark. It seems to be a nice place for the regulars that stop by for the sheer convenience of the place.

Stopped here for some boba after spending the afternoon at Abalone Cove.No lines and the staff there was very nice and efficient. Got my drink about 2 or 3 minutes after ordering for me and my family.Drinks were VERY sweet and will probably ask them to cut the sweetener in half when I go back next time.

My milk tea tasted fine, if I ignored the lack of enough ice to cool it down and the unblended bits of taro in it

Almost 5 stars dragged me over to Manhattan beach to try this spot. Sadly my expectations were met with realism. This is a fine coffee shop. It has all the amenities and patash to round out this upper middle class neighborhood. The good... Its got a chill atmosphere and a lively group of regulars. The bad... The Teas are a bit on the sweet side, which by no means is a deal breaker but the Java offerings leave me wanting. With power house roasters within arms reach you would think these spots would partner up and feature those blends but no. They offer mediocre but hot joe. Internet is mediocre as well. The Service was fast and friendly. So not a bust but not 4.8 stars. Sorry no 2nds

Great boba and really nice staff!

Regular taro milk tea doesn’t have caffeine and comes with boba. I think it’s made with powder but still tastes good. The boba was soft and chewy. My drink wasn’t super cold, so that was nice so the boba pearls didn’t get rock hard. The drink was the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelmingly cloying.

Milk tea is delicious. I recommend 75% sugar or less though. It is very sweet

Boba loca is a great place to get boba. It was my first time trying it yesterday and they helped me pick out the right drink. The boba was amazing and I am looking foward to going next week.

I order yesterday 5 drinks from this place. I order for my self a coconut tea boba. When I took the first sip the taste was horrible. It tasted like plastic no coconut flavor what so ever. Never going back here to this place.

Absolutely love this Boba Shop! The boba has the perfect amount of chew, and the milk tea is sweet, but not too sweet. However, I dont personally enjoy regular tea in general, but the milk tea is to die for!

I came in on 4th of July. Only two workers at the time. They were very polite and hardworking. It was pretty busy and the women did a very good job. My frapp was bomb!!!

I had one of their smoothies. The smoothies taste great. They have a good balance of sweet and tangy flavor. However, the flavors are all artificial, if youre not into that.

I like them better that the one in Torrance which closed recently. Why am I not surprised - they were struggling for a while and started charging people to much. This location Almond milk tea boba and Thai tea boba are my favorite. Very nice and clean cafe.

This is a good little place to go if you want to work in the morning. Comfy sofa, tables and chairs and plenty of outlets. Staff are friendly and the boba is good! Gets a bit busy when schools are out though.

I just love Bobaloca Manhattan Beach coffee. There are better coffee at other places but this place is pretty damn good. I usually get the mocha.

Great place to study. Even though this is a really nice Boba place, they also have great coffee! I used to go here all the time to study and do work for school on their wifi. It always worked great and the workers here are also very cheerful and nice!

Love their boba and their sandwiches are really good too. There salads are huge. Although they stop serving lunch around 1pm. There have their parking lot in front and share with the other business there. I only had a problem parking once.

I am revising my review. The boba Smoothie has declined substantially. I had the Taro. It was watery and not that good tasting. The sandwiches looked good though. I havent tried yet. Not sure if Ill be back

AMAZING COFFEE AND PLACE!!!

Normally i would give this place 5 stars, but the price is a little too high. But the drink flavors make it worth the price. Now today i stop by for a drink, and the cups are smaller, but the price stays the same. I dont like cheap tricks. Not cool whats up Manegement?

Lady with septum nose piercing is bad and always seems to be there when I go. On phone sitting on the floor when working and rude. Also the new cups with the stickers suck because They always seem to drip and are smaller and less complete than the old ones. I only wrote this review so the workers and staff could see my complaints, drinks are good tho

The lady that owns the place works here every day until about 1pm. She will accommodate all requests. One time I asked for one BOBA in my coffee. Why would she appease such silly requests? I am not sure, but she did. Free internet all day, a few sofas, and 4 tables. Very chill space, good for work meetings or laptop work.

This is a great study spot. Its quiet, the boba & pastries are good and the place is kept clean. Friendly service is also a plus

Extremely friendly staff and I always feel like a family member when I stop by. Only four stars, though, because their boba is pretty bland and their milk tea has tatsed a bit off the last few times Ive been in (almost like theyve added too much creamer). Overall, I would recommend the place.

Love this place. $1 pastries after noon! I got a little experimental and added boba to my chai latte and it was surprisingly delicious. They are always super friendly and the environment is great if you just feel like hanging out. Great spot.

Ive been a faithful customer for over 10 years and have seen 3 turnovers of owners. Through it all the customer service has always been wonderful and friendly. I usually order the same tea drink every time I come in and the Baristas have gotten to know my order and usually has it ready before I even walk in the door because they recognize my car in the parking lot. 😁Boba Loca offers a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea drinks, smoothies and slushies. You can add on boba or jellies to any of your cold drinks for added flavor. They also serve a small variety of morning pastries. For lunch they also serve a small variety of gourmet sandwiches as well as salads. There is free Wi-Fi available and tables and sofas to sit and socialize or do some work while you enjoy your drink.

Stopped by on a Sat morning and the line was out the door. The coffee takes a while so it moved kind of slow. The pastries are from local joints like B Patisserie and Piccino among other places.
