I purchased a bottle of Blantons on Aug 31 for a wedding present for a friend. He informed me when he opened it that the seal was already cracked and the bourbon smelled slinky. How embarrassing!!! I called interstate liquors and spoke with Jenny who said she would talk to her boss and get back with me. No follow up! So I stopped in to see if they would do something and they said there wasn’t anything they could do. I’m wondering if they switched the bourbon out of the bottle since it’s so hard to find. I’ll NEVER purchase anything from Interstate Liquors again!!!

Just had a really awful experience at interstate liquors. A man came inside to buy liquor while my family and I were shopping. One of the ladies working there stopped him at the door and signaled at her coworker to I guess call the cops. When he wanted to buy a bottle of vodka she said ok, are you going to buy the one you took also? So now all of the customers in the store know that this man shoplifted. She proceeded to threaten the customer, loudly saying youre going to buy the one you stole and this one or the cops are going to take you, theyre on the way. The man complied the entire time. He went to the counter to pay and another employee would not let him check out but let all other customers check out before him, while the previously mentioned worker locked the door (is this even legal?). I in no way condone shoplifting and I believe this man should have paid for the liquor he stole. Embarrassing and threatening a customer was no way to handle this situation. Not to mention, if this man was at all dangerous, she just put all of of our lives at risk over what, a small bottle of vodka?
