I really like food Lion I like that its hometown and I also like that it has a variety of things that you might need the one thing on my dad could you please get peace propel water Ive asked year after year Im right now ordering it from spring Street and its our family owned store and we love them but in those big jobs they absolutely order it for me and it can be done it just bothers me that I ask and ask food Lion and they never would but I will never leave spring Street over this thank you and meantime food Lion my husband shops there my daughter shops there we shop a lot of places but I always have a special place in my heart for spring Street grocery I was raised up here since I was 23 years old Ive always lived here and Im from Manchester good luck in your hunt at food Lion today and that theyve got it put back together cuz they didnt stop business to get the things that we needed but we got we got everything they had keep going sweet love 😘💕💕 everything subject to change and I still have my hope for peach propel water I dont like any of the rest of them but I love my peach thank you Brenda Trail

Its clean and has everything you could possibly want out of a basic grocery. I basically only go for the ice cream selection and produce. Other than that the prices are a little too high for my liking. Ill stick to Save A Lot except for the ice cream and most of my produce.

They were open, but in the middle of a full remodel. So, there was a lot of partitioned off areas and fixtures that were not in their regular spots. They had done a great job of making things serviceable and safe, but it just wasnt attractive at that moment. Im glad they made the extra effort to stay open because I was charging my electric vehicle nearby and needed a restroom, a drink, and snacks during my time there. Im sure it will be great looking and fresh when they are done. Ill update when Im passing through again.🙂

Great produce, best prices. Updated store has more variety, healthy choices. Even the cashiers have improved attitudes.

Great place to shop. Its always clean and products are where they should be. I love the sales they have. Having a MVP card is very beneficial. Ive gone in and had my groceries add up to almost $100 and using my card to get the sale prices has brought the total down to around $60. Im always saving between $10 and $40 every visit.

We moved here a couple of months ago and decided to give Food Lion a try. Its definitely a smaller scale grocery market compared to what we are accustomed to back home. I belive the store us currently under renovations but despite that, the store was very organized. The stand out for me was the exceptional service provided. All the staff I encountered was friendly and happy to answer my questions as I navigated the aisles bewildered.It was pouring outside that day and one of the staff was out with umbrellas ready to lend a hand and escort customers to their cars so they didnt get wet. That indicates to me that this store cares about its customers.I will certainly go there again in the future.

Produce selection is limited. Many times basic ingredients are not available like cilantro, parsley, lettuce types are limited.

It is being remodeled and in my opinion it is 10 times nicer then it was. Also they have the best customer service. They treat you like family.

Theyre location is in the middle of town and no car in a wheelchair my husband can walk me there get what we need use one of their shopping carts to take my groceries home and bring it back. The employees are awesome they go out of the way to help me with me not having legs they dont treat me any different than anyone else. Good food good prices.

Sharon the cashier has ZERO customer service. Extremely rude. Did not extend a greeting, did not bag blue for cold and white for dry items. Threw our groceries around and didnt take pride in her work at all. Also I witnessed her being rude to another gentleman needing to cash a check from work. Will not be returning.Side note, the kids sticking shelves her helpful and polite. Keep of the great work!

The produce and flowers have improved greatly over the last year. Love seeing the bright fresh fruit and veggies when I come in.

Ghetto store. It was trashed. I had things in my buggy that were on sale when I got there but it changed while I was shopping. 1 toilet for the entire store. It was packed too

They are as American as it gets. Very friendly and always ready to help out if needed. We do all of our grocery shopping here even with all the big box stores in the area. You will not be dissatisfied with this hometown spot.

Good place to shop. Looks like an older store but they have good sales and if you have a loyalty card and look for bargains as I do then you can save quite a bit. Used to use Walmart’s program savings catcher but they have since discontinued it. Food Lion has shop and earn where if you buy so much of a certain category then you’re loyalty account is credited to spending on you’re next trip. Saved quite a bit doing this. Good place to shop though for sales.

Only place open till 11pm around here.... its always clean and they are willing to help you find what u need....

Service seems slow most times however the overall customer service is decent and would return to this store if need be

Its very clean..The layout is very nice and convenient..Things are easy to find.Also displayed in a nice order for your viewing. Making it easy to make your selection.The store never feels crowded. No matter how busy the store may be..Checkout is easy and doesnt take a long amount of time..Its overall a good place to shop. Also to get discounts on specials and in store products..I recommend this store..For an all around positive experience. For any shopping tast..Weather small or large amounts needed. Great service, easy layout, helpful employees - and if youre looking for a custom cut of meat, just ask the butcher. Did you know that Walmart doesnt have a butcher? Food Lion DOES and its an excellent experience. Deli is fantastic, too. My go-to store!

When I moved to Manchester, I was surprised to see that they still have a Food Lion.Even more surprising is that while this an older grocery store, the people who work here take very good care of it.The produce is always fresh, and I have yet to find any that is wilted or out of date. Unlike other stores, when you buy produce here, it isnt rotten in the middle.The store has a good meat selection as well.The best thing about this store is the attitude of the employees. They care about the store, and you can tell. If you need help, they will gladly drop what they are doing and assist you, not walk off like they do at some of the larger stores.

Foodlion is great when they actually have their shelves stocked and not bare. I go there maybe 1-2 times a month when they have sales on the stuff I need but when I get there the shelves are scarce if not empty. Example they have Yoplait yogurt 10 for $5 and they only had 4 of what I needed for my almost 2 y/o girl and I had to get 6 different flavors that we dont even eat just so I could get the discount. Its literally like that anytime I go in there and its left side of the store that has the cold food is mainly where that always happens. But other than that I LOVE their coupons for free stuff so I stick with them!

Great staff! Willing to go out of their way for customers. Priced a bit higher than the other grocery/big box store in town, but the service is worth the difference.

One of my favorite markets, Food Lion offers an adequate selection at very competitive prices. Be sure to register for their VIP card to qualify for weekly discounts which are substantial. Their wine and beer department is quite extensive. The deli/bakery could be a bit larger, but Ive never left dissatisfied. Best of all, the store is easy to get in and out of.The store is being renovated and modernized with new fixtures and revised selections. Food Lion puts out a weekly flyer (copies available at the front door) that lists their special offerings and sale prices. While their regular prices are competitive, the sale prices are really good. Get a Food Lion VIP card and youll get even more discounts.

I have shopped here for years and like the staff, selection, location, the convenience of a smaller store. It is very rare that they do not have what I need plus a variety of some selections not found elsewhere in Manchester, including my furbabies very selective needs! As an added bonus, theyve added the to-go service, and Ive just ordered and paid for this weeks groceries while relaxing at home....I love not having a shopping session at the end of a long work week!

Rude, refused to sale me a grill lighter that had no lighter fluid in it😂 I needed it that night to grill. I recommend going over to dollar general next door for better customer service .Dirty Store, Staff aren’t friendly, also gave me incorrect change

Best Grocery Store in Manchester. Great prices, awesome selection, clean and organized well. The employees are always friendly and helpful, most are even open and talkative when engaged in conversation. They run weekly sales which helps a lot when budgeting a household. Location is good. It stays very busy and checkout can take a few minutes at times, even then, its well worth the small wait.

Only place I’ll buy meat! Do shop sale items n never buy bread because the price on breads is crazy! Clean everyone nice as can be! Sure better the other store in town!
