Top notch Kaffe Klatch place in downtown Manchester. Heavenly scents and service. Excellent croissants too! Whats not to like?
Summer was very polite. Great place to chill. The blueberry tea was delicious
Legit best espresso/latte Ive ever had, zero bitterness, great crema, beautiful foam art, and an aroma like tiramisu. Super nice staff too. Will 100% be returning anytime Im in Manchester, and definitely plan to try their gorgeous-looking selection of teas.
I came here and ordered an espresso cream soda but they were out of seltzer so I chose a London Fog tea instead and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to go back next time Im in Manchester. Delicious tea, great service!
We absolutely LOVE A&E Coffee and Tea!!! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I love the atmosphere, the layout, decor, informative staff, and the smells! It comes together all so heavenly. Best tea and coffee in NH if not the Northeast. And their seasonal concoctions--AMAZING!!!! They never disappoint! You will not regret it!
Cutest little coffee shop! ☕ mocha latte, Peppermint mocha latte were nice, and the blueberry muffin tea was amazinggggg. Nit a tea drinker but enjoyed holding the warm cuppa, and smelling it while my SO was driving
Excellent customer service. Coffee is freah and delicious. Bagel was cooked perfectly.
This place is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I I need a good lunch, this place comes straight to my mind. best and varied food and a rich menu.helpful staff members, and agreeable spirit. Also important, the price is reasonable. I suggest this restaurant with no doubt.
Got a mocha iced coffee. Is very good. Smooth. Will go again
Seriously some of the most delicious coffee beans Ive ever tried. Ive had to recently switch to decaf due to a pharmacological conflict with caffeine, and their decaf is the ONLY one Ive found that feels like a delicious, gourmet, high-end coffee.
Thoughtful, intentional, skilfully made coffee and tea beverages backed up by a staff who clearly cares about their products and everyones wellbeing.Bonus points for immediately enforcing their store mask policy. A rare gem in a sea of cardboard coffee.
Best Lattes in Manchester. The salted Carmel latte is my new favorite. I get it almost everyday now, I’m hooked.
This place is great! I got some tea to go and bought some loose leaf tea to bring home and both were delicious. The workers were really friendly. I will definitely be going back!
Wonderful experience! Coffee and service were fantastic. Got a red eye that was full of strong flavor and a hot latte that was smooth and delicious. Will be back tomorrow!
I have been a customer of a & e for many years now. Though I no longer live in Manchester when i come back to my hometown I try to stop in for a coffee. Today I went in as usual to order my coffee and buy a bag of beans to have the barista rudely tell me to put a mask on. I calmly told them I have a medical condition and cannot wear a mask. I was at the register with my card ready to pay and had already ordered. Instead of just ringing me up she told me I had to go outside and order again in the cold...then refused service entirely when I said I did not want to stand in the cold. Even when I stood outside the doorway and ordered as she requested she refused service. This is an unacceptable way to treat a long term customer who has spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars at this establishment. I was nothing but kind and calm to the baristas. My business will now go to cafe reina across the street who made no comment whatsoever about a mask...no mandate or law requires people with medical conditions to wear masks. I am appalled at how I was treated without an ounce of compassion for a condition out of my control. Truely shameful elitist behavior. Due to her arguments I spent longer talking inside of the shop than I would have if she had just cashed me out. If the point of the masks are to reduce the covid spread it would be more effective to quickly serve those of us who cannot wear masks than to rudely harass people for conditions out of their control...I always tip 30%+. The CDC said opioids were safe too...
Always amazing service & the best coffee in town!
The Golden Spice tea is amazing
There coffee is top notch and and the employees know what they are talking about. I love the lavender honey or the cinnamon latte and my partner loves the bullseye! If your lucky enough to go on a day they have chocolate croissants grab one they are amazing!
My fiancée and I stopped in this morning after doing a bit of research on a good coffee spot in Manchester. AMAZING experience. The manager walked us through the beans they had for sale and we chatted about brew methods, beans, and A&E. So glad we found an awesome NH owned roaster/cafe! CNt wait to try our Thundersnow Espresso 😍.
Love the vibe, staff are kind and informative, coffee is delicious.
Love love LOVE this place. Awesome drinks, excellent food, the vibe is relaxing and welcoming for everyone. This is my favorite place to study, work, and read a book. Lovely little place right on Elm Street. We will happily support A&E for a very long time to come.
Ive been to this place in Manchester only a handful of times. First, I liked the hipster vibe of the place, but when it came to dealing with staff and the order itself things got really ugly. First, they charge almost 5$ for the smallest cup of latte, second, I ordered a meal to go that apparently cost me 6$. Please see the picture Ive attached. The girl on the register looked very aloof and disinterested in talking to me.Absolutely plain, toasted English muffin with an egg and a piece of bacon. These two items cost me 11$. Im still not sure if thats a joke or not, but i took a bite maybe once and then it went in trash.
Amazing staff and helpful staff, I cannot recommend this place more
Not wearing a mask all set will go else where
Wonderful little shop focused on tea and coffee. I appreciate the organic options. They take care and pride in selecting quality products, roasting and blending their own original coffees and creating their own unique blends of teas. I plan to take advantage of their online store and have some coffee and tea shipped to me. Our lunch selection of avocado toast was excellent and worth the wait despite slow service.
Its a small shop with just a couple tables. I was greeted warmly and my order was easily placed while the barista was accommodating to my taste. (My preference wasnt on the menu). The coffee was fresh, hot and satisfied my desire.
My #1 place to get coffee! Blows everything else out of the water. You can can really taste the coffee 😂And on top of that, that staff is amazeballs. Well informed and knowledgable about the product. And dont forget to grab some beans to take home while youre there!
Fantastic coffee drinks and great service. They are always friendly and are willing to help you find the right drink (there are a lot of great choices). You can also get Tea, Breakfast Sandwiches, and other pastries. They source their ingredients from other NH small businesses, so you are enjoying a lot of what NH has to offer including La Cascade chocolate. They recently rearranged their seating and it is great, more seating and more space at the same time.
Quirky little coffee shop. Its small, maybe only sitting room for 8 people. Its got coffee related nick-nacks all over the shelves and counters. Theres some nice artwork on the walls painted by the employees (owners?) and its got a cozy feel. As for the coffee, I dont consider myself a connoisseur, so all I can say is the cafe mocha is excellent.
Adorable little coffee joint. Great selection of drinks and rather quick. The several times I have gone there I have always tried something new and have never been disappointed.
Super neat coffee joint in downtown Manchester. If youre looking for a classic coffee shop feel, this is it. Great food, and great coffee.
They roast all their own coffee, plus they always have a great combinations. I got the thyme after thyme delicious! I visit the location on Elm St., right next to 1000 Elm, it faces a little green space with trees, nice to sit in front on a warm summer day! Fridays starting at 4 pm live music too!
Best coffee. Service everyone is wonderful... Only complaints is- they need to open earlier in the morning as I’d rather here than Dunkins. And when they are slammed with people they tend to move very slow.
Used to live in Seattle and work above Pike Market. This is the only coffee in NH that compares.
Smaller than the usual coffee establishment. Cozy, unique drinks, house made flavored syrups, funky music, hippyesque owners. Trivial pursuit cards on the table, eclectic atmosphere. GF options for baked goods. Lavender lemonade! A sweet spot!
Best coffee in town. Locally roasted, friendly staff, convenient location and many flavor options. The tea and mocha options are delicious.
New to area and happy to have found this great coffee spot! Cold brew is terrific.
The location in Manchester has very nice people working, but the service is soooo slooow. The employees just have no idea that those that are working cannot wait 10-15 minutes for a latte! Delicious coffee. Tell them to make the coffee hot. Nice vibe, good people, polite.
Great place for the whole coffee shop experience. Chatted with a very friendly barista about some dietary needs and had a delicious latte. We will definitely be going back soon.
The environment here is awesome. The workers and other customers are very friendly However, if you’re a fan of chai for its spice, this isn’t the place to go. The iced chai was little more than a glorified cup of sweetened milk. Would not recommend.
Great little local place for coffee and a quick snack. The baristas are always super nice and quick to help. Wish I could give more stars!Favorite latte is the iced mocha which Im told a local chocolatier assisted in developing.Good small breakfast sandwiches and good pastries too.
Best coffee around and very friendly, knowledgable baristas. Highly recommend!
Let me start by saying Im thankful to have a third wave coffee option in Manchester. However, my experiences with A&E have only been OK. Out of the 3 times Ive been they have had to remake my drink each time. Two pour overs that failed for various reasons and one milk drink. Its really frustrating when you pop in for a coffee and end up waiting 10 minutes in what should have been a brief stop. Especially for a pour over which already takes roughly 4 minutes anyway. The coffee itself is pretty good. Many of their beans are roasted too long for my tastes, but regionally its what people like (dark strong coffee from Dunkin, Starbucks, etc). Their whole bean prices I feel are pretty high for what theyre asking for. Especially compared with other roasters (none local though of course) are asking. But it is a captive market here so I can understand that bit.The only other thing that is troublesome are the hours. Not opening til later in the morning (forget about stopping by at 630 or even 7 for a cup) and closing early in the evening. Im sure this was done for a reason but is nonetheless disappointing. Oddly, their baked goods have been consistently delicious! Unsure where they source them from however.
Excellent coffee and espresso drinks. Love the tea, too.One thing I dont think some people realize is that this is a specialty coffee place, not some fast food Dunkin Donuts or Aroma Joes. If youre in a hurry and you see a line of at least three people while the staff is running around making multiple orders, dont expect your meal or drink to be popped out instantly. They work fast, but they value quality and will make sure you have an EXCELLENT high quality latte over a rushed and sloppy one. If time is of the essence and you dont care about how good the espresso drink is, then maybe consider a fast food joint. Ive never had a sub par drink here. Theyve only ever been delicious. Great music, awesome service. Beautiful atmosphere. The big window is really lovely and has a great view of the outside, a perfect spot to sit at on both sunny days and rainy ones. The people working there are fun and friendly, and you can tell that they take their work seriously. (Bonus: Very artist friendly!)
Not from around here. Place looked nice. Pistachio muffin was perfect. Coffee was great, my girlfriend raved about her chai tea. Friendly service, reasonable prices.
Good coffee and friendly employees. Ever up buying a pound of coffee in addition to the drink we purchased.
First time trying this place. I purchased the vanilla lavender latte... great stuff!
Best local place for specialty coffee and and nice selection of single source roasted beans.
Lovely place with very friendly staff. I went in knowing nothing about what I wanted and the staff was able to quickly assist me and provide a drink that I now love!
The milk foam was really stable the texture was fantastic, the espresso was absolutely delicious, obviously high quality. The service was excellent, kind folks and quick service. The only feedback i have is that the chai tea i got was over steeped, and the spices under extracted. In a traditional chai preparation the spices are extracted into a mixture of milk and water ahead of time and then add the tea and sweetener immediately before serving.
My favorite Manchester coffee roaster! They always have the freshest beans for making coffee at home, and they make a great latte!
I go here all the time. Expect incredibly kind, eager-to-help staff who know A LOT about caffeinated beverages (but are not going to shame you for not knowing what youre doing). When you go here know that youre getting access to not only a large variety of teas, coffees, and an array of brewing equipment, you are also getting excellent service.
Best coffee in Manchester. The latte has good strong flavor and nice equipment to make them. The place has a nice cozy feel to it with seating outside.
Loved their coffee, very kind girls. I hope to visit soon.
Tiny shop in good location. Good tea, but expensive. The drip coffee was disappointing. Perhaps an espresso beverage next time. Great staff, friendly and professional.
Trying to enjoy my tea, and staff is talking about Systematic Racism in the USA. I disagreed and asked them to cite or provide places for me to see actual systematic Racism. They declined to give me any. Wanted to end the conversation because they didnt want to talk about Systematic Racism while they are getting paid to work. The shear ignorance to talk about Systematic Racism to each then say they can talk about because they are working is outstanding. Not good.
The coffee was a little strong and the flavoring was a bit weak, but the price was decent and customer service was great.
The baristas are experts in making a perfect cup of coffee or tea. This is easily one of my favorite coffee shops in Southern NH.
Probably the best coffee shop in town. Artisanal baristas. Wonderful staff
Great coffee. Lovely people. I like.
Fair trade, organic, and the secret ingredient of love. Best coffee and service in the region. The beans are all roasted at the Amherst location.
Best place to get coffe and beans
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Company really cares about sustainability and ethics in coffee business
Delicious coffee and very friendly service.
Cool little coffee shop, lots of options for drinks, plus they all freshly roasted beans
Cozy, but needs more yummy tea flavors... herbal please!
Maybe the coffee roaster from which they obtained their beans was having an off day because the cappuccino i had was very acidic and sour in a very bad way. Im not sure if i want to try their coffee ever again....maybe the teas will be better.
Small but cozy downtown coffee cafe. Not the quickest coffee shop, but the laid back staff were down-to-earth and super nice.My wife and I ordered a couple of iced mochas, and although the espresso was a nice quality, the actual mocha drink was just ok. Not great, but not bad, just ok.On a positive note, I would firmly recommend the pistachio muffins. They were absolutely perfect. Fresh, moist/not sticky, and very delicious! This is a good place to go if you are walking the city, but theres no immediate front door parking. Youre at the whim of city street parking, or near by garage. There is outdoor seating available for nice days.
Excellent coffee, I drink a minimum of two lattes a week. The service couldnt be better.
Convenient location, but poor comfort, average service and poor gluten free options.
This shop has some awesome bodies working for it. The baristas behind the counter are always super helpful, funny and serve some mean Latte drinks.
Great staff & a nice selection of Central American & African coffees
This Girls are the best! Mind, efficient and good coffee.
Friendly folks, great coffee! Seating space with sunny windows right on Main Street.
Small coffee shop like a small cafe with very few seats to eat in.Located in downtown Manchester near city hall tucked in a small plaza. Not much bakery items. Decent range of coffee & tea types available. There are special coffee/tea drinks posted on the wall.Ordered a large skim latte which came with 2 double expresso shots and came out to be $6 including tax which is relatively PRICEY!Generally, its less than $5 at most other coffee shops Ive been to, though some cafes only offer 3 shots instead of 4. Always ask how many expresso shots in a Large sized coffee specialty. The latte was good, though, but its still pricey!Free wifi is available and the special drinks look good but hesitant about the prices if the latte was indicative of the prices.
Best coffee in town, only place I buy my beans
The worlds best coffee and muffins
Love this place! Sarah the barista is awesome!
Best coffee in Manchester! They know what theyre doing!
Very cute little place with great coffee!
Coffee was normal. Better than dunks but the staff was pretty rude.
A great spot for coffee & tea downtown!
Fantastic. State of the art beverages.
Best place in Manchester!
THE AESTHETIC 👌🔥
Friendly staff, good soup and coffee
Fantastic ❤️
Best coffee around
Too expensive, however.
Great for lunch
Great staff and Coffee
Lovely
