I had a great experience with the Audio Express on Manchester Road that I would like to share. I have been a customer for many years without complaint but my recent experience confirmed that I did indeed go to the right place for my new navigation stereo. I know that I was treated far better the you would ever expect from a big box store. My install did not come without a few complications, both mine and theirs, but all was resolved and I left a very happy customer. I want to thank all the guys there for doing a wonderful job. I especially want to thank the manager, Ryan, who was there every step of the way making sure I received five star treatment. His dedication and professionalism should be commended. I am definitely a satisfied, lifelong customer.
Dave and the crew there were great. They were very knowledgeable and sold me what I wanted/needed, nothing more or less. They even fixed my remote start that Best Buy installed and after multiple times trying to fix, couldnt get it right. I will be going back there soon when I get a new car and have them enhance it for my tastes and needs. I highly recommend them, and Dave Fischer especially.
The workers were very kind and helpful! It was very easy to call and schedule an appointment. The employees clearly care very much about their job and their customers. The store manager, Ryan, made sure that we got the best products for a reasonable price. I will definitely come back to this location in the future!
Everyone was very very helpful and knew their product. They made recommendations that were needed for my situation. The work done was done perfectly. I would recommend this location to my friends.
I walked in asking for quotes on three different things. The employee seemed annoyed that he had to go outside. And then didn’t even bother to give me a quote. On the remote A/C. Definitely went to the wrong place. :(
Fantastic experience. We initially came to them to have a dropdown DVD installed, which ended up not being possible. They troubleshot with us until we decided to go ahead and just do headrest DVDs. They called in a guy from a neighbor store to get us taken care of same day. Then, when the optical lens on one of the units was went bad, they were able to get it fixed within an hour of me calling them. Great service.
Great! They did a great job with installation and customer service was excellent. Originally the Hazelwood location did a terrible install and really messed up everything from short changing wires and not installing my sub properly. This team here at Manchester were great. They redid the whole installation and did a much better job. I will always go to this location from now on and you should too.
Put a new system in my Wrangler and it sounds awesome! These guys know their stuff; especially Dave Fischer. Great job.
Quick professional service. In and out in less than an hour. Very reasonable pricing.
Ryan is the store manager and was very helpful when I was looking at getting a remote start and keyless entry for my car. He is very knowledgeable and informative and is very customer service oriented. I highly recommend Ryan and Audio Express. Currently looking to get a new car stereo and underglow lighting.Dave
The gentleman I dont with his name was Brian. It was very professional and had great customer service. You knew about the product and what would best work with my vehicle and what I was trying to get out of my sound. Also help me out with a special promotion they had going on. That would let me make a purchase and have interest-free for 12 months. I am actually on my way to go back up to buy more stuff from them and have it installed. I would deathly recommend this place to anyone and especially to deal with Brian!!!
This location has excellent customer service ! I went in to buy a new radio. The manager Ryan, was very helpful and patient.
I had a great time with my Charger. The guy Ryan was cool and knew what had to be everything about subwoofer setups
Awesome customer service, were able to help me out with my subs perfectly at a good price. 100% recommend
Decided to have my wife get me an Alpine car stereo for Christmas from these guys, as the factory unit in my 2006 Toyota Sienna was driving me nuts with poor display visibility in bright sunlight and the seek function stopping on EVERY channel whether there was a station there or not, which pushed me over the edge to replace the thing -- best move I ever made, and am IMMENSELY enjoying my Alpine CDE-BT265W! B-) Im thinking I will probably have her get me new speakers for even better sound for Christmas at the other end of this year (its January 31, 2017 at the time Im typing this). WELL DONE, Audio Express! :-)
I took my car into Audio Express because I was having problems with my iPod connection I had installed over a year ago. The guy who assisted me was fantastic. Apparently there was a problem with the initial installation. They re-installed it for free, right away. He even gave me an upgraded connection cable for free. I was very impressed with the way the remedied the situation. I would definitely go back.
Quick, great service! Made the buying process easy and took time out to explain the process/options!
This place has a good selection of car audio equipment and provide excellent installation.
They really take care of their customers. Highly recommend it.
Spent $1300 on upgrading every speaker in my car. Took it in to get installed and it was installed the same day. Picked up the car after hours and when I listened to music the it sounded as if the speakers were punching. Took it back in after the weekend and turns out, when they put the car back together there was something loose. Since they didnt do it right the first time and I had to bring my car in a second time, and wait an hour for them to fix something that shouldve been taken care the first time, I give 2 stars. Will not return for anything.
LIARS! that says it all, when I first brought my truck to them they looked at it they said they could install the CD deck that I had just fine for $280.00 I agreed but they did not have time to do it that day so I had to bring it back, so I called to bring it back and got Brian on the phone and asked to set an apt he said it would cost me $450 I said thats not what was said the first time I brought it in I was told $280 he said he could get it done for $350 I agreed and said I was bringing it in, I have to leave for FL in a day and really dont want to drive that far without a radio, when I got to the store Brian was there to help me he says it will be $450 to install I was like dont you remember talking to me on the phone and he said yeah but I didnt know it had stearing wheel controls I looked him right in the eye and reminded him I told him it had stearing wheel controls and he said oh yeah but I cant do it below $450, LIAR!!! now I am driving to FL with no radio thanks to this @#@$%^ with my three kids screaming in my ears, I will never use Audio Express nor will anyone I know, its this kind of childish behavior that ruins the American image.
Nick really knows his stuff, been doing car audio since I could drive but I still learned new things from the staff there, helpful, never try to upsell and are able to help you pick a product for what you need.Anyone who says they are overpriced you get what you pay for, order something half the price it will be half the qialqqu and wont push near as much RMS.
They did a great job with a quick installation and amazing customer service
Slow. Overpriced. Looked up $99 module, $30 on Amazon. They have done well for me in the past, but rep really didnt know product offerings/technical details. Maybe just a bad salesman today, so Ill give 2 stars for past success.
Store Appearance: Clean, Comfortable, Professional, Organized. Impression=High Quality.Salesperson: Dave Fischer (Store Manager). Personable, Friendly, ATTENTIVE i.e. great listener, Enthusiastic, Genuine audiophile. Superior product knowledge. He guided me to the right choices.Installation of Receiver, Dashboard kit, XM Antenna, Steering Wheel controls, Amplifier, Microphone: Clean, Professional - no aftermarket appearance, looked like a factory installed unit. Beautifully done, real attention to detail (color matched radio lighting to other dashboard instrumentation)Product Performance: Outstanding, repeat, OUTSTANDING. Far above my expectations.Service after the Sale: Responsive, Professional, Courteous. Only necessary adjustment was relocation of the XM Antenna which Dave instantly diagnosed on the phone and one of the installers, Logan, performed within an hour. Not because it was easy but because he is skillful.Do I sound like a happy customer? I did comparative shopping, I knew I was in the right place within a half hour. I found other people who appreciate quality as much as I do. I knew I would be spending large but I purchased what I wanted...Perfection.In my younger days I did a lot of aftermarket stereo installations on a myriad of cars I owned always demanding purity of sound and later, having owned fine factory installed systems in subsequent cars, I had forgotten the unequal superiority of aftermarket products. Consequently, today I am once again toe-tapping, finger drumming, hands free phone calling and smiling...smiling big. I drive 3500 miles a month as a busy salesperson, the comfort of music is important to me, the clean crisp, deeply resonant sound of the equipment Dave recommended has returned joy to driving. Now, as in my long-since past, I have caught myself sitting in my car to wait for the end of a piece playing...the system is THAT good.
I was referred to Audio Express by the Dean Team in Ballwin-Thank you Carl. If you need a VW go see Carl. Dave at Audio Express was spectacular! Actually saved me money and I drove away with a great sound. After installation spent time in my car showing me how to use all the features-Bluetooth-HD-Sirius and other Audio Features. Check them out first and compare them with the big box stores before purchasing anything. You will be pleasantly surprised. If you need any Audio, Alarms, Remote Starts or anything additional electronics go see Dave. A solid recommendation.
A few months ago I had a Viper alarm installed in my car, recently while working under my dash I inspected the wiring job and am not very impressed at all. Problems with wiring: 1. Ran horn wire through ac vent from drivers foot well to pass foot well. 2. A wire was smashed into the drivers side vent preventing me from adjusting the airflow. 3. The factory relay bracket in drivers side foot well was ripped off its mount and zip-tied back into place. 4. Viper relays are just being held up by factory wiring in drivers foot well area. I contacted them about a week and a half ago via email and have yet to hear anything from them. Next time I will purchase an alarm elsewhere and install it myself for half the price.
Was asked to purchase something that would cover taking the starter out of my current car (which they installed) and installing it in my new car for free.... And now they are saying they dont offer that service.... Uhm ok, what the hell did that guy make me pay for then?
I do not recommend this place.
On Saturday March 31 I went to AE to see about buying a new head unit w/ iPod integration for my car. That day, I was pleased with the service and explanations given of the various choices and work that would be done. The store did not have the dash kit required and neither did anyone in the area so they decided to request one from Arizona. I was told that there would be no problem getting it from AZ for my April 6 (Friday) installation appointment. On Friday, I showed up to get it installed. I gleefully handed over my keys and left with my fiance to run an errand. 30 minutes later I get a phone call that my dash kit had not arrived at the shop. The employee informed me he had done everything he could..... EXCEPT I pointed out that he did not do everything, as they should have called me to re-schedule before I even got there. He did not even apologize. This was infuriating, inconsiderate and irresponsible! I live 30 minutes from this location and had taken a personal day from work to get this done. In the end, the manager refunded the amount of the dash kit and set an appointment to finish the job the following weekend. The following weekend I returned to AE to get my new head unit installed. It was installed much more quickly than expected and works great. One of the employees apologized again for my first experience and I was on my way.Despite my bad experience, I would probably return to AE in the future if the need arises.
Very convenient location and hours. Showroom very nice, clean, and organized. I was going to attempt a complete radio install from Crutchfields until I met Anthony, Shawn, and Kyle at this Audio Express store location. This crew definitely helped spec out one kick-butt sound system, better than what I could have done from going it alone with Crutchfield. Crutchfield is awesome, but even better to have a team to turn to, get advice in person, hear it in person, and feel it in person. I ended up having this Audio Express install a complete system that included a new head unit, 4 new speakers, tweets, amp, and subwoofer (in addition to sound dampening material in front doors speaker location and car trunk). AWESome WORK BY Shawn Welch. Very impressed how the system was installed and tuned. Anthony and Kyle also provided excellent advise and value to picking out the right components after great customer-sales dialogue to understand what types of music we like to listen too. In the short conversation we had, this crew understood what would meet our needs and beyond. Anthony provided excellent customer service.I look forward to working with Anthony, Shawn, and Kyle in the future.
To start with after reading the reviews from others, attitude is everything.1st) I came into the store a couple times and have always had a good experience with Ryan the Manager, always polite and went out of his way to find me the answer with some complicated questions.2nd) I do allot of research on the products i am looking for prior to just walking in and wasting everyones time, which time is something they have always given when i come into the store.3rd) I shopped around the area for prices and found this store gave me the best prices i could find. Everybody knows this is a business and to stay in business you have to make money, after shopping around they didnt pay the rent off my deal for sure.4th) they were kind enough to let me watch my installs (three cars remote starts) the installers were easy to talk with (no stupid questions helps, they are working!) but got the job done. The install was clean, no damage that was observed to my seats or dash, all wires were soldered/covered and tucked away.So if you are looking for a good price on some good products give these guys a chance, as for the others with negative replies it sounded they did what they could do to resolve the problem, but there are always some customers you can never please!
Everything in store is junk and over priced. They will say anything to make a sale. There is a reason why they dont do cash refunds.
They dont do window tinting but they will change your tires and wash your windows......AE43 is your one stop shop!
Recommend to all my friends
Go to best buy.
Sold me and my friend blown speakers $1,285.00 wasted
