A nice Subaru Factory Service Center associated with the Prime Subaru dealership in Manchester New Hampshire. This is one of the larger Subaru dealerships in New England, so they are well outfitted to take care of whatever you need. The service Representatives are friendly and theyve done a nice job of preparing printouts explaining the recommended work to go with their estimates. The waiting area is well-stocked with vending machines and coffee and they have a couple of small desk areas where you can do work while you wait.On the other side of the coin, while you will get top-notch service and of course genuine parts, you are going to pay a premium price for that service. In general typical maintenance items like brakes, filter changes and the like are going to cost you about 50% more than going to your local mechanic to get the job done. They are also going to advertise that you get the recommended milage based service done in a timely manner. On the one hand thats good and on the other, those recommendations tend to all be tailored to doing work at the earliest possible time it could be needed end for almost anything that might be a slight wear item. While this may be a good recommendation, it typically drives doing repair and replacement work sooner than you really need to do it in many cases. Those recommendations do not take into account how you actually use and drive the car and there is a great deal of difference in terms of where, depending on how you actually drive. The response you will get of course is that if something breaks it will be much harder to fix. Sometimes thats true and sometimes it is not.Ive always found the most cost effective way for an educated consumer is to take a hybrid approach. Have the dealership do the complicated work they do best, and look for other places to do more standard wear and general maintenance like oil changes, batteries, filters, and standard exhaust and brake maintenance. It really pays to shop around for those types of services.

Visiting from PA and my ac went out....90s temps...called yesterday late afternoonN0 appt, found condenser needed replacing, brought me back to my daughters, repaired the a.c., came back and picked me up, brought be back to the dealership and wished me well, All before 2:30 the same day!
