I have been a customer for over 20 years.I tend to keep my vehicles for many years (from 8 to 14 years) and have always been very satisfied with D&Ls repairs and maintenance on all my vehicles.Lewis, Larry and Brian are great to deal with and are very honest with their repair recommendations. They give you options when available and do their best to keep the costs down. They have even told me when to stop repairing a vehicle when it just didnt make sense to continue dumping money into an old vehicle. Many repair shops would just keep repairing and take your money. You can trust these guys to look out for you even if it is not to their advantage to do so.Service is excellent and prices are very reasonable and certainly less than any dealerships. I wouldnt go anywhere else!
Very good service. I’ve taken my vehicle to them for anything and everything it needs, and always come back happy with their work. These are guys you can trust to take care of what you need done. If you are a softshell and can’t handle people with a bit of a rough disposition fixing your vehicle for you, stop being a pu***.... you aren’t there to make friends, you’re there because your vehicle needs service... (This also in response to any negative comments that I’ve seen on here..) easy 5 stars for you guys!
Normally I would not do a review like this.. I’m more geared toward the positive things. But today I had the most unprofessional experience with a company in my life. I’ve used this garage on and off for 15+ years. Admittedly not for every repair because when my husband was alive he could do most things our vehicles required. In that time, however, I referred quite a few folks saying that D&L was honest and fair.Several weeks ago I called for a quote for a friend and prefaced the call with Larry by saying that as well as the fact that I was at work and busy but that I trusted his honesty over the garage my friends car was at as the price they quoted seemed exorbitant. Several phone calls were traded over the quote and in the end my friends ex husband did her a favor and repaired the car.I called D&L today to inquire about a repair for my nephews van. After identifying myself Larry replied “ I’m not playing this game again “ and hung up. I called back and he said it again. I asked if I could explain and his response was “ I called you 3 f**king times and you treated me like a f**king chimp. Don’t ever call here again” and once again hung up.I’m sure I’m not the first person to call for a quote and then not use them. I’m sure others have not called back to schedule a job after they’ve researched a price. This level of unprofessional conduct and viciousness was unwarranted at best.
I have been bringing my car to D & L Auto for many years. I have not had a single bad experience. The work is done when they say it will be. I know the cost ahead of time. They accommodate my (difficult) time constraints. They are very helpful and I feel comfortable knowing my car is well taken care of. They kept my last vehicle going 250,000 miles before I decided to trade it in. PS...dont confuse them with the car dealership in front of their repair shop. They are not related.
I was a fleet manager for over 80 cars and D & L Auto was our go to mechanic. They were very competent and knowledgeable, both in diagnostic and repair. I even took my personal car to them after I had paid another repair facility over $500.00 to fix the problem which never got fixed. D & L Auto, diagnose the problem and made the necessary repairs for considerably less than my original bill. They are fast, do what they say they will do and do it right.
I love D&L Auto theyre always taking good care of my cars my cars last longer because of the Care and the work that they do they always give me good advice on what kind of car to get next theyve never steered me wrong I will not go anywhere else theyre devoted to the cars they work on and Im devoted to them.
Please dont be confused with the dealership in the front of the building, we dont sell cars so how can you get mad at us for a car you bought from them.
*I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS*I was already in a kind of bad mood from having to pay to get my vehicle towed and so, I figured that maybe I would talk to someone who would at least be nice enough to just level with me, but It took every fiber of my being to not tell the guy at the front desk (Over-weight with glasses. I think his name was Bill) to go fu... Well, you know. In the short amount of time I was there (About 5 minutes) he was able to be so rude that I honestly was glad I had my significant other with me before I brought myself down to his level.Do yourself a huge favor and do not go here unless you’re a fan of being talked to like you’re an idiot or just enjoy bad service.

0 stars! The owner is beyond rude, the worst service I have ever had. Over chargers and couldnt even fix my problem then got mad at me for his miss diagnosis. I told them I am just going to bring it Els where and left with more problems that it went in for. Totally offal, how they are even still in business just amazes me. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!
It says a lot when you purchase a car from them for 2 grand more than KBB & they manage to botch and lie about everything. 02 Navigator with a non working AC, oil leak, and complete lie about brand new tires, missing back seat, supposedly a fixed gas gauge which isnt fixed. Just like they fixed my DVD player which still does not work, they fixed the front power outlet by ripping out the dash and by shoddily super gluing it back together which fell out when I took out my charger. Cruise control switch was broken off and like the lighter, glued back on and fell off. I figured since I left it with Matt for 4 days to fix it hed fix it. Runaround about their schedule, pickup dates and when you try to work around their schedule despite living 90 min away, they dont know what their maintenance workers schedule. Even their loaner cars transmission was shitting the bed but their price for it hasnt lowered either. Pooooooooooooooor customer service with call back about Hey hows that car we ripped you off with? No call since I picked up the junk I was warned about by a random civilian. So I decided to warn other customers DO NOT GO HERE!Or if you do, do NOT work with Matt Wenrich. Hes the epitome of the negative stereotype for a used car salesman. In other words a SCAMMER.UPDATE!Ive now had this SUVsince September and these are additional problems that Ive encountered with this vehicle.Heater no longer works wellThe spare tire was a 17 all weather tireThe pumps that hold the hatch open stopped working about a month ago and just found out that the hood pumps to hold it open dont work anymoreThe drivers side windows tabs were glued back on so I needed to find a new one.Ive replaced the battery twiceI already need a tire balanceI have also since found out that the all wheel drive Navigator that they said it was is nonexistent. Its rear wheel drive but I have no proof since the original ads were taken down.What I find disappointing especially is because I told him about my past poor experiences with buying cars and he willingly sold me this junk box. I offered 4600 and even confirmed it the day before I went to check out the car but instead of putting my offer in they put in their original asking price. I was confused with the total but signed anyways. I thought oh APR, warranty, admin fees ect.I also found out that when they were trying to get me approved they LIED about my income. They applied to multiple different credit unions and banks for up to $10,000 when I offered 4600 and they already knew I was putting $2000.00 down.Now it wont even start and its not the battery or the alternator.

Literally the worst garage I have ever dealt with! Went back 4 time to have my car fixed covered by second street auto. Each time it came back worse than it came in. But an inspection sticker on the car when it did not pass. Very rude. Terrible place dont go here!!!
