I have been extremely pleased with my experiences at Autos Of Europe with my Cayenne GTS. Over the last year I have had basic maintenance done as well as third-party warranty work done on my stereo system. Jeff has been extremely easy to work with, is very knowledgeable and is always on time. Last time I picked it up I also met Chris, the owner and we chatted it up about all kinds of things cars including a classic Ferrari he has in the show room. You can tell that these folks are knowledgeable and have a passion for cars! I will keep going back.
Very happy with the service on my Mercedes SLK350. Service was pleasant and thorough, cost was very reasonable. Recommended.
If you are looking for quality care for your car, specifically a European variety, look no further. Seriously, better than the dealer. Fair pricing, quality work for the owner who loves their car.
Were really good at trying to be fair and helping me to get my car running
Chris and his team at Autos of Europe have been great to work with over the years. I have a BMW X5 and I know that I am getting quality parts at the most reasonable prices. I always appreciate the honesty and recommendations for preventative maintenance on my vehicle. I will continue to recommend Autos of Europe!
They did a great job on my Jetta and finished three days earlier than I had expected!
Highly recommend. They provided great service, kept me updated on the progress, provided pictures of any issues, etc. In and out quick. Bonus - Even though I didnt mention it they even fixed my Key FOB which had a bad battery I had not gotten around to replacing. Nice surprise. thank you.
Boris and his team, Jeff and others, know our BMW, Mercedes, and LandRover very well for service and regular maintenance. Definitely competitive pricing! Highly recommend Autos of Europe!
AVOID THIS SHOP! I’ve not posted negative comments ever but enough is enough. Their so called repair has made things significantly worse & cost me more money than quoted.AVOID THIS SHOP! Sure, they’re nice enough but once you’re in for a repair your stuck, at their mercy, hoping & praying it will be repaired & you can drive away confident it was worth the extra money. It was not..... unless of course, I want to spend an additional “several” thousand dollarsDo yourself a favorAVOID THIS SHOP !
Polite staff and great work, highly recommended.
I was having a problem with my steering and needed some maintenance work done. I had seen an advertisement that this shop was under new ownership and thought I would give them a try. I spoke to Jeff about what I needed done, he told me I could leave the car now or drop it off in the morning. They told me that my shocks needed replacing, an inner and outer tie rod needed replacing and a front end alignment. They called me that afternoon told me the work was done and that I could pick it up till 6PM. I got there about 530 PM and met with the new owner Chris. He went over the repairs and a maintenance schedule. He told me that he had bought the shop a couple of months ago and has another shop just down the road. Really nice guy. The shop looks organized, Jeff was very professional and the owner was very pleasant. I dont see any reason why I would go anywhere else.
Only Autos of Europe works on my XK8!
Chris and the staff were very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and made sure the job was done right. Highly recommend them for service on your European vehicle.
Held my car hostage. Now my vehicle is said to be done a month out. Smh
Dropped off my Mini Cooper here hoping to have a specialist look at it. No communication in regards to repair or issues with my car. Stoppedby to follow up on it just to find out they had already worked on it. Almost $500 later my car still is not fixed. Guy talks a good game, but DO NOT GO HERE! Save your money, time and a head ache. Took my car back after same issue occurred after being told my car was fixed. I was told it would be at least another $2500.
Ive been taking our vehicles here for 10+ yrs and would recommend to anyone. Theyve worked on my audi S8, brought a 30 yr old Porsche back to life and keep my wifes simple GMC running great. Good, honest crew.
Run dont walk away from this character. What are the biggest and best liars and ripoffs Ive ever come across of in my 72 years. Ended up taking my vehicle to the dealer and saved twice the money and they told me that I was lied to.
Brought my car to a competitor who told me I had thousands of dollars of work to be done, so I went to Autos of Europe to get a second opinion and got it all done for just a couple of hundred dollars!! Couldn’t be any happier with their honesty and the professional work that was done on our car. Really appreciate walking into an environment with such friendly, personal employees. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone having car issues!!!
Jeff the service manager is very professional and explained all repairs needed and why. Great place to take my car.
These guys are great. Super trustworthy and will tell you things the dealership wont about whats really required for your vehicle. Great pricing too.
I had not dealt with Autos of Europe before, but when my 1970 VW Karmann-Ghia convertible needed carburetor work, I had Boris and Jeff look into the problem. After a free and complete diagnostic, it was determined that the 50 years old car with 85,000 miles needed some repair work. Not being a daily driver, the car needed some attention after several years of storage. The results were excellent and I am very pleased with the work done by Autos of Europe.
They are terrible place and I would never recommend them to Boone.
Every time I bring in my car they always fix it in a timely manner! 5 star mechanics! Definitely recommend.
Great people and great service. They have a customer in me for life. My highest recommendation!
Was given a direct price for parts and labor. When finished it was 3x higher than the given price. If you dont know, then say it was an estimate. Also, appointment was at 11am they didnt bring in my car til 3pm! Unbelievable! Did nothing to help compensate for my time waiting there all day. Will never come back.
Ive been to Autos of Europe many of times for different types of service. Im extremely satisfied with the quality of service and there pricing. Ive gotten to know Jeff and Boris over the years and I wouldnt have my car serviced / repaired by anyone else.
Called for service and they never called back!
They do a nice job on Foreign cars.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE SCAM ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi my name is Justin Brooks and I just recently purchased a vehicle from Autos of EuropeI purchased the BMW X5 from Boris the owner he informed me that it was a very Good carAnd prior to purchase informed me that the tires were new and that the vehicle had no issuesHowever after purchasing the truck. I encountered numerous of problems a week after purchaseI took the vehicle to Plaza BMW in Creve Couer and had found out it needed a oil change new tiresThread was showing on the inside of the tire and aswell needed 3,000 dollars worth of work thatWas required for it to be done. When I brought this to the owners attention he acted as if he knew nothingAbout these problems and assured me he will fix them. He worked on the truck all day then statedIt was ready for pick up upon me picking vehicle up it ran for maybe another few days then startedNot to start brought to the Owners attention he says bring it in when it does start and he will look at itSo I brought the vehicle to him he had the truck for about 7 hours and stated it was completeThen after me driving the vehicle same problem occurred again called him complaining and he statedAgain said I need to keep vehicle for 2 or more days so I can find out why its not starting I then drop the vehicle offFor three days then he calls me and say its ready he started the vehicle up over 125 times withinThe three days of it being there replaced cam shaft censor and assured me again problemWas fixed after having the vehicle back for one day visiting my family Downtown City the vehicleThis time did not start up at all and had to be towed to Autos of Europe on Manchester and 9 pmI have spent my savings on this vehicle and have nothing else and I have sent him a certified letter requesting my funds back he has theTruck and my money and I have not drove the vehicle for 30 straight days DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE THE OWNER IS A SCAM ARTIST
Rudest Condescending Stuckup Staff I Would Not Do Business Here If You Dont Want To Be Yelled At And Compared To Others
I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. The owner Boris and his shop manager, Jeff are very nice, honest, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to take care of their customers
So far so good
Great service these guys are very friendly and professional and the work is done with great care and quality
Great service and worked with us on pricing
I took my Land Rover LR3 to them. They searched for 6 hours to find the problem and produced no results. I took my SUV out of their care and put a complaint against my credit card company for bad service. They answered the complaint an I got charged. Really, you need 6 hours to diagnose a European vehicle and your answer was we tried. If you cannot figure whats wrong with a current model car, Dont take the job.Plaza Motors found the issue within an hour and fixed. Yes, I paid 50%more for a factory technician but it was worth it... Fixed!Dont take your premium auto to discount shop who has no idea!
Jeff and Boris treated me more than fairly and I would recommend this place to anyone with an exotic or specialty car that needs some TLC. These guys are the best!
I went there 2 years before, they charged me over 1,000 dollars which included a new battery. The battery died recently and the battery shop told me the one got replaced looked like my original battery as old as my car!
I took my 2006 BMW X5 to Auto of Europe because I had an oil & windshield wiper reservoir leak, need a battery, and a wheel alignment. I called and spoke to Jeff and was thrilled that they could get my car in right before Christmas.Once I got there, Boris checked me in and wrote down all of my concerns. He also stated a full bumper to bumper inspection will be down on my car for no charge. Boris was very upfront about payment; meaning if half of payment was asked of me, don’t be alarmed...blah-blah-blah. No problem for me.I received a called back, was told what needed to be done to my car. I authorized the repairs to be done...costing me $4457.02.One of my repairs was major. My engine had to be lifted out of my car to get to the alternator bracket gasket. I was concerned but continued on.A pick-up, everything seem ok. Was told to return 1-2 weeks after to check car for oil leaks. I returned 2 weeks later. I guess no leaks BUT was giving another estimate of $2300 for more work. As I drove my car, it started cutting off on me, my reservoir issue still existed, my wheel alignment wasn’t done right. My steering wheel wasn’t straight; more like 2 o’clock on a clock. Let me not forget....ALL MY LIGHTS WERE ON.... Brake/ABS/DSC 4x4.Voiced my concerns. Was told to bring it in. After 4 or 5 visit to this location, I wanted a rental for the weekend because I have been without my vehicle. That was granted on the behalf of Auto if Europe. On Monday, received a call from Boris. He informed me my TRANSFER CASE need to be replaced and the cost will be $1800. I decided not to do the work. I didn’t trust this business at this time.***Grand total on repair now $8600 🤔🤨At my final pick up for my car, Boris said my cost was $20. Why? Because he drove my car for 40 miles and put gas in my car. Seriously! After returning to your shop 4 plus times, you ask me for $20. I told him, before you decided to do any thing to my car, you got approval first and this matter required the same approval. My car is worst off then before you touch it.***Oh, the car rental was charged to my account and not Auto of Europe. I had to literally fight to be my money back. Boris and I had words. He wanted to short me $20 if he reimbursed me for the car rental. Not happening-After 2 months, I still have a reservoir leak and a bad wheel alignment that I paid to be fixed.Stay away from this place! Go to the BMW dealer or BImmer R US! You will have a place of mind and not regretting your decision like me.
They lie, cheat and steal.I wish I could give them negative stars!Terrible place with terrible communication and terrible prices.
Always gets me in and out the door quick, great service
We have 2006 BMW could not start at the Walmart parking lot, about 1 block from the Autos of Europe in Manchester, MO. It was only start problem, but they wanted to replace break, air filter, spark plug for total $2653. I wanted to avoid arguing and agreed to pay them and get the job done. They broke the spark plug and wanted me to pay $3674 more and total $6300 to get the car fixed. I do not trust them now.The car passed inspection about 10 days prior to the towed to the shop and we drove less than 100 miles. They claimed they found new problems, but they actually caused new problems.
I gave you a one star because you scam people out of their hard-earned money. They trusted you and you took advantage of them by turning their problems against them. Reading at some of the reviews, you have a very bad business practice and borderline illegal. Thanks to the reviews, I changed my mind and will not be coming to your shop.
At the suggestion of a friend, I took my 1999 Mercedes. I had had an earlier Benz serviced here and was quite satisfied with minor repair. However, this time was totally different. I called Boris, told him my Benz was stalling, going dead while I was driving and choking out. Took it in to shop, said he would call me with diagnosis. Called me 2 days later,,,told me I needed and oil change, transmission service, brake job, taillight needed replacing, radiator flush, etc., etc...would cost 3500.00 to repair. I said, I dont want all this Boris. Just tell me what I ask for. Well, he said, I cant do that until I fix these things because I want the car to be totally right. Again, I just want to know what the stalling prob is and I will only spend up to 2000.00 dollars. Thats what I have budgeted. Ok, Reverend, I understand. ill have it ready Tuesday. OK, but I will be out of town. He said ok. Can you pay me in advance? I should have been skeptical but I said OK and gave him 2000.00 on my charge. Upon my return, I picked up the car, my wife driving, before she got home, she called me and said the car had stopped on her. I called Boris, told him what happened, He said bring the car back and if its something I missed, Ill fix it for no charge. (red flag). I took the car back, he called me later told me he found the problem and it would cost me 1500.00 to repair. (Back to the 3500.00). I took Boris to court, Boris lied, told the judge I never told him the car was stopping and stalling. Judge ruled in his favor, I called Boris told him how disappointed I was with him. I said Boris, you lied. I said Boris, you know when I figured out that you were lying and untruthful, His answer, when? When you lied and told that judge I never told you what was wrong with the car. He says to me, if you ever need me to fix a car for you bring it, Ill take care of it for you. Total negative opinion. Never again!
Got a four wheel alignment on my Mercedes a year ago. Recently got my tires rotated and found my rear tires badly worn. The alignment was not done correctly. Not something a car owner can tell when the work is done. Only over time. Never go to this repair shop. High pressure tactics and lousy service. I should have known something was up when I dropped the Mercedes off and it was the only foreign car in the shop.
Communication was horrible from the service manager Jeff. He had my car for three weeks and I was always the one calling him to find out what the status was with my car. Even when he told me he would call me back he never did. The final straw was when it took him a week to find a part only to find out he ordered the wrong part.
They tried to charge me for parts that had already been replaced less than a month before they looked at it. Then I proved to Jeff that theres nothing wrong with those parts. So the owner Boras reluctantly reduced the cost on diagonosics but he still had the overheating diagonosics and they havent figured out what was wrong with it and refused to figure out whats wrong with it until a warrantied work from the past is done. Funny thing is that I had told Jeff about the work needed before I dropped it off and he said nothing of it. The owner Boras is even more ridiculous he slams his fists on the table, yells and has no respect for his customers. This guy is a scammer. I proved to him that he was wrong. Before this I had brought the car years ago for an estimate on a new head gasket and transmission replacement. He charged me 200 dollars for making the estimate not even looking at the car cause there was no doubt that the car needed a new head gasket and I asked him for an estimate and no diagnostics and he still charged me for it anyways. Theyre literally insane
THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DEAL WITH MODERN TECHNOLOGIES, THIS IS MORE OF A SHADE TREE MECHANIC.
The best mechanics in st louis
Post project, I am very concerned with work. Spent thousands. Its been a total disaster. Very very upsetting as I was really hoping for help with a restoration. Car still has many of same problems it went in for. Stay away from this place.
Thanks guys. Great job!
Guys are on point and committed to customer satisfaction.
Good shop to take your car to...
Had my Boxster in for tires and service. Friendly and accommodating, but at least for Porsche, unable to diagnose my problem. Had to visit Porsche St Louis to get it fixed.
These guys know Volkswagens inside and out. I only trust my car with them and they stand behind their work
Not impressed
