No barcode scanner available and the receipt doesnt show what exactly you bought. Its an old school way to mask so that customers dont know what price each product would cost them. Many products doesnt have price tags on them. 1 star are just for availability of different brands.Con : Very ExpensivePro : Location
Its nice to find Indian Grocery shop near by. Owners (Uncle and Aunty) are very friendly. They helps locating the stuffs in store. Almost all the Indian Grocery items are available. Rices, Wheat, dry fruits, tea, snacks, spices, vegetables, paneer, etc are available. Shop location is good. Mango are delicious and samosa are very tasty.
Best place to buy Indian groceries, very friendly owner and prices are reasonable.
Manchester seema is very gud quality wise and everything. I always prefer seema.
One of our weekly grocery shopping locations. We always find a good deal on something that we need here. The staff are generally friendly too!
Nice small store with everything pile up. Friendly uncle helped me to get everything I had on my list.
I love this place it always has a bargain. I always spend too much but thats okay I love it here. And everyone is friendly and helpful.
Great selection of products. Nice and friendly staff who helped me find what I needed. Will be back!
Good for North Indian.
Our go to shopping spot for all traditional Indian cooking needs. Staff is supper friendly, prices are extremely affordable, store is stocked with a bunch of quality products!
This is a good place for Indian groceries. Most items are arranged neat on racks. South Indian rice and flours are available.
We found whatever we needed there - dettol, kesar, lays, thums up :) frozen theplas and khandvi
I have been visiting this store for over 20 years; I know most of the owner’s family members and when I used to work in Maryland Hgts area I also used to visit the other Seema store in the area. Manchester Seema’s owners Nalin and Jagruti Desai are very nice people. Always helpful, very knowledgeable about the store items and with a sharp memory about item location and availability. Anything I need I just ask them and they will get it for me. An added attraction in the freshly prepared food like samosa, kachori, dhokla, jalebi etc. During season, the fresh mangoes from Mexico are great plus the fresh veggies available year round. The Dosa mixes are nice too; good for a veggie meal along with home cooked masala and chutney.
Great little market. Wide variety of spices, dry goods, drinks, and produce. Friendly staff.
Good variety of vegetables and Indian grocery stuff. And specially, If you want real Surati Khaman, this is the place. All snack items are awesome.
They have good options in stock. Its true that you have to check the package date before you purchase anything. But In this store it seems fine to me. 3 stars because of the over pricing. You can find same product in less price in nearby stores. So please go and checkout the price for same product in near by Indian stores.
Nice and clean store. Friendly staff.
One of my favorite grocery stores. If you dont know what something is this staff is more than willing to tell you what it is and how to use it.
This store is great. The family is friendly that run it, prices are really reasonable, better than your chain stores. It is mostly ethnic foods, so you find lots of wonderful spices and flavors.
Good place for Indian groceries.
The Owner is very good.He response right away for any trouble or issue have with you.Great Guy and great store
I heard a lot about this store and I wanted to try once and when purchased items from here and I was surprised to see the prices as they are super expensive compare to the other stores and I always buy the same items in other store and I came out silently and I am never going back to this store again. They need to look into the prices.
Very helpful & good prices. I will be back for sure.
Excellent selection of produce that is always fresh. I can find everything here to cook like my mother does. Staff is helpful and remembered me the very next time I came in.
Wayyyyy EXPENSIVE..
Generally good stuff. The owner is friendly. There is free warm tea available most of the time. Conveniently located.
Love there personal attention.
AVOID THIS STORE, most products are expired or missing expiration dates. This has happened more than once. The store location is convenient but all products are highly expensive then other stores. Dont buy vegetables from this store, they keep stale vegetables outside. The samosas and the yellow dhokla are kept in the open without proper cover, I almost fell sick past weekend after eating their stale dhokla. This should be reported to health department. The lady at the counter was very rude when asked about details on the receipt. The receipt doesnt show any product names and also no weight on vegetables.
Gotta try the Thumbs Up soda and hit this place on the weekends as they have fresh fried Somosas! You can find all sorts of vegetables either fresh or frozen and everything is quite affordable.
Good selection!!!
Great stock and affordable prices, the samosas were very tasty and felt like homemade!
Terrible experience and no price in anything you will know the price only at the time of checkout and poor attitude Teller or Owner doesnt want to talk or respond. Dont want to again.
They are having expired stocks like 10 kg kerala rice package. So do always check expiry date for all the products when you buy. They sell loose products like rice in small packages with no expiry date .Apparently they are packing it themselves. How can we be sure that these are not the old expired items?. Staff is friendly though.
Friendly and hard working owner with exceptional memory skills.
The owner is always helpful and very humble...
Well I just bought a Packet of Namkeen from Seema Grocery on 03/29/2020 and open on that same night and had some and suddenly after an hour i start getting Stomach ache and while checking the packet i saw its expired and i would like to suggest them to check their items before they open the store every morning please
Great selection of indian food items
Good variety, good prices, honest service....
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
If you are looking for indian grocercies, dont go to this store as most of stuff is over priced at least 25% more than the regular price Like1. Yogurt2. Dal (Pulses)3. Vegetables4. Indian Cookiesand lot of other things. The guy got very rude when i asked about the prices. I just went one time there and it was a very bad experience. There are 2 more grocery stores in St Louis which are pretty good as compare to Seema Enterprises.1. Global Foods (Kirkwood)2. Mid East Market (Ballwin, On manchester Rd.)
All I can say is do not go. If something urgent you can end up here. But not on usual days.
Clean and well managed Indian grocery store.
Stock was old. Prices are a bit higher than normal.
Great service

Most of the stuff is overpriced..will not go back there to shop again...
Ridiculously overpriced
