I recently purchased a brand new Honda CRV. My sales representative is Girma Mersha at Joyce Koons Honda. Buying a new car has never been a pleasant experience and I was hesitant to go through it again. Sales people tend to make it difficult and such an extremely long process. It can take almost a full day of back and forth. When I first met Girma in the parking lot I had such a great vibe and even though I wasnt ready to purchase, I knew I would go back and see him. I felt no pressure and I loved that. When I finally decided to purchase a new car, Girma was patient, informative and became my advisor on how to sell my old car for the highest amount possible to finally helping me choose the perfect CRV. So if you are thinking of purchasing a new or used Honda, make sure you ask for Girma and no one else but Girma. Thank you!

Brought our 2012 Honda Civic in for state safety inspection, tire rotation, oil and filter change. They also gave me a multi-point inspection. The car was ready within the time promised and I was informed that the brakes were ok, but near the end of their service life. The mechanic provided an estimate of the remaining service life and the cost to replace. Great service advisor, no pressure just facts.

It’s been about a month since I got my first new car! Special shoutout to Kebir, the sales associate. Super sweet, followed up with me, made the process easy and I really appreciate how he wasn’t overly aggressive with the sales side. I am giving 4 stars only for Georgia Egbers, who provided excellent customer service during my last visit. She was very knowledgeable and clearly explained all the service orders I needed for my car. She was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. Previously I didnt have that good experience and I was reluctant to go in this time but since it was closer to my work and just wanted to get the oil changed but I ended up doing Brake fluid flush as well. Thanks to Georgia for making it a better experience for me this time.

I had been shopping around for a Honda CR-V for about a month, going from dealer to dealer. Koons was my last stop before headed back to a different dealer. I’m so glad I stopped! Jose was amazing! He was patient, kind, so informative on the car and okay really nice. He wasn’t pushy at all, which I really appreciated! His manager was also super nice. Within a day my brand new car was having an issue with Apple car play, they got me right in and fixed within 5 minutes. This place had a great vibe, was relaxed and professional.

I received Excellent customer service, above and beyond my expectations. I needed a specific vehicle. They had one on the lot. I called and confirmed it was the correct vehicle and it was available. I told them what accessories I was looking for, if they were in stock, and that Im driving there now and its a 3.5 hour drive. When I pulled in Medhat, the gentleman I spoke to, was waiting for me. He had the car pulled up, ready to test drive and the accessories they did have were pulled and ready to install. I was in and out with a new vehicle in record time with all the Is dotted and the T crossed. It was an amazing experience. What made it even more impressive is they did all this during one of the worst automotive inventory and supply shortages ever seen!Their team runs like a well oiled machine. I am grateful this kind of customer service still exists in 2021, and Medhat made sure everything and everyone were on the same sheet of music.Seriously thinking about driving back up there, 3 1/2 hours, when its time to replace this vehicle. It is well worth the time and trip to work with a team like this.

Julio Montenegro is outstanding! He works hard to make the customer a priority. He listens closely to understand his customers concerns. He kept in regular touch with us -- on Saturday and Sunday! -- while our vehicle underwent diagnostic testing. The service technician, too, did a great job trying to address the issues with our Honda Insight. Julio and his team are 5-star Honda people!

I am a customer of Joyce Koons Honda since 2013 and the reason I am still going back to them is because of the trust that they earned in the past few years from both the Sales and the Service departments.Off late though, I have been having some really bad experiences with the Service department here:1. Around two years back I noticed a discrepancy on the receipt for one of the service where I was charged for something that I did not buy - after a call with the service advisors manager, they refunded the amount - but I was appalled that it had to come to that.2. A few months ago, I took my car to get a recall work done - since they were pretty busy on that day, I was asked to leave the vehicle overnight and pick it up the next day. The next day, when I went to pick up the car, I realized that my car key (along with with my keyring) has been misplaced between the service advisor and the technician - and luckily for me, since I had the spare key on me, they were able to generate a duplicate key for me (free of charge, they said) after taking 45 minutes of my time (on top of, of course, the two days the car was there). But the most frustrating part of this episode was that - between all of the losing-key/replacing-key business, the service advisor failed to tell me that the recall work that I went in there for was NOT done! Unfortunately for me, I did not even realize this until a couple months later when another person from Joyce Koons themselves gave me call asking to bring it in for the same recall work!3. This morning, I have taken my car there for a routine maintenance work (code A12) and even though I have an extended service warranty that covers all maintenance work (minus parts) that is done at Joyce Koons in the first four years - the service advisor said that the warranty is only for two years! When I reminded them that my extended maintenance coverage is for the first four years, they said two of the three items (all of which are routine maintenance) are covered - but the third one is not. Even after speaking with their manager, the service department is standing by their statement - and effectively I am ending up with being sold something that is not being respected at Joyce Koons!Overall, the quality of service and the trustworthiness has been steadily declining for me at Joyce Koons Honda. I think it is time for me to look for other alternatives at this point.

At Joyce Koons Honda for service. I have to say that the service Advisor, Julio Montenegro is one of the most knowledgeable and service friendly Advisor I have dealt with. My car went in and he is keeping me updated. He applied the coupon that I had without asking me for it. I drive from Fairfax to Manassas to do my repairs and car service at Manassas Joyce Koons Honda, because the dealership service and pricing is unbeatable. Julio is the best service Advisor and you should ask for him if you visit the dealership.

Update:Post car sales experience has been extremely rough. They initially put me through Honda finance with 0.9% and $500 off with a new graduate offer. Now they are saying Honda is not approving my auto loan despite having very good/excellent score. To connect to the finance guy at this dealership is a Herculean task. He does not reply to my email nor is he available to pick the call. This is utterly annoying. Please do not buy car here if you want a good after sales experience as well.--------------------------------------------------------------Car buying experience was good. I got the best deal through American Auto buying program. I purchased Honda CR-V here.However, after sales experience was not up to the mark. I had to call everyday but did not get a prompt response regarding my inquiries.

I have a 2015 suburban with an extended warranty. The service here thus far has been excellent! They have pushed through the repairs Ive needed with warranty company and gotten them covered. Ask for Bryant, he was our service representative. He definitely goes the extra mile to take care of his customers!!

Pretty typical for a service department. Theyre pushing for services your car most likely doesnt need but theres no way for you to verify, and then charge astronomical prices for labor. The only positive point, they picked up my car from home.

Love the fact that they came to pick up my car and dropped off a rental. I have spent too many hours at that location waiting…waiting…waiting all afternoon or morning for an oil change. The people I dealt with were very friendly. What I didn’t like was the fact that I had to pay to have 2 spare keys reprogrammed. I don’t understand why that costs so much but also why I had to pay for that when a couple years ago they had to do work to my engine and reprogrammed my main key but never my spare keys. When I brought this up to the person I talked to on the phone (I had forgotten at the beginning of the service) no discount was applied as I feel it should have been. They should have programmed all the keys correctly the first time.

Always get GREAT service from Joyce Koons Honda in Manassas, VA, where I bought my 2016 Honda Accord. Needed VA car safety inspection. Always wait for my car. Also received 20+ point car analysis (free!) and free car wash.Service rep reviewed with me the tread levels on my 4 tires. OK now, but approaching 50,000 miles on original tires. At my request, gave me a cost estimate to replace all 4 tires in the future (prices subject to change of course). This was helpful for budgeting my car upkeep expenses. My extended Honda service warranty expires in April 2022, so this GREAT help from the service rep helps me make an informed decision as to when I will need to buy ANOTHER HONDA.While waiting for my car, I get to look at new cars in the showroom and on the Honda lot - alone. When I bought my 2016 Accord at Joyce Koons Honda, Honda financing gave me 1.95 % interest on my good credit. Much better interest rate than all of my credit union accounts were offering.I highly recommend Joyce Koons Honda for new car purchase and regular service.

I have been to so many Honda dealers for service in the area and have never encountered customer service this bad. I came in for an oil change simple ha?), and the worker was very RUDE when i asked him to apply the coupon thats on their website. Dont post it if you dont want people to use it :). He also didnt do the inspection (which is part of the service i asked for) and claimed that i denied it. He even had it written on the receipt he gave me (Customer denied multi-point inspection) which i was never asked in the first place. When i told him that i didnt, his response was oh it takes a long time, and youre waiting here to pick up your car so that will delay you. Excuse me? I havent complained. I will wait for my inspection to be done. Unless you absolutely have to, dont come here.

Be very careful when purchasing service plans for your vehicle. I purchased one for my 19 Honda CR-V and was told that I could take it to any Honda Dealership in the nation when I bought the car in 2019. I was sent a book of coupons to use when I needed service. When I presented it to my local dealership in Maryland, I was told this was a program that is only available at Joyce Koons Honda in Manassas.I contacted Joyce Koons and was told that all they could do was refund the cost of the program and since my car had exceeded 12,000 miles I was not eligible to get the program that I originally thought I had paid for.Now 3 Months after I submitted the request for the refund, I still havent gotten it and was told it is still in process.Simply put, do not believe any promises from this company. They do not keep their word.

Joyce Koons Honda took great care of us during the sales process. Girma came out to our house twice for some pretty lengthy test drives of different trim levels, to make sure we got the exact car we wanted, and then came out to do all of the paperwork and contracts so that we didnt have to go to the dealership to do anything. Him taking the time to do all of that was particularly important during covid, since Im health challenged and cant afford to get sick. There was a little misunderstanding about price points when we got to the table, but all of the staff and managers we dealt with were extremely helpful, and worked hard to get us in the car we wanted at the monthly payment we needed, including all of the extra warranties and services we required. Ive already put more than a hundred fifty miles on my new Passport, and literally cant complain about a single thing. Hopefully, thatll continue as I put more miles on my new car. You might pay more for a Honda upfront than you might with other makes, but its worth the expense for the peace of mind that this manufacturer and dealership will take care of you if anything goes awry, and that your resale value will hold for years to come.

I bought a car here last year. The car is fine however my issue is with the service department. These people are so unorganized it’s mind boggling how they stay in business.First time I had my car serviced they called me a week later stating my service was due and asking me to setup an appointment. I told them I already had gotten my car serviced the previous week and “hmm weird” was the response I got.Now that it’s time for the second service:In the last 2 weeks I have gotten a total of 14 emails asking me if I would like to schedule a service with them. I responded to 4 of them saying yes I would and then got sent a link to set it up myself. I asked if someone could call me instead and was informed yes. Strangely enough, a whole week went by without and calls or emails, then I get another email asking if it’s okay that they call me. I say yes again. A couple more days pass and someone finally calls me. I setup my appointment and Hangup the phone. Within 2.5 minutes of scheduling my appointment I get ANOTHER call to let me know that I just set up an appointment. These were all from people, not some automated robot.I go, have my service and leave. Since I have left I’ve gotten numerous text messages and 6 emails asking me to review the service I received. It’s absolutely overwhelming. So this is my review. The service is fine but the constant badgering, pushing and massive amount of unorganized behavior is horrible. The car is fine but the company is not one I like to deal with at all and would never refer a family member or friend to buy one from Koons.

I recently had some problems with my 2019 Honda CRV tires, I was concerned because every time I bring it to the dealer at koons of Manassas, I was told that I picked up a nail, I was frustrated! However, after the service manager Kevin contacted me and assured me it was not unsual to pick up a nail frequently, ask me to contact him directly if I have any other problems, Thank you Kevin for taking the time to reach out to me and addressed the concern & provided great customer care service!

I thought I could get a simple state inspection and use the car pickup service. The driver was two hours late and couldnt drive a manual transmission, even though the car on file had been serviced here before. Whatever, no big deal, they assured me another driver was on his way. But apparently that was a lie because nobody showed up and I had to call to reschedule for the next day, and they were even nice enough to put an extra note to remind themselves that my car was in fact a manual transmission. The next day I had to call in to remind them of my appointment because again the driver was more than 2 hours late. And guess what, again the driver was incapable of driving manual, even though supposedly notes/reminders were left specifically stating my car was stick. Thanks for the gigantic waste of my time!

I usually do only oil change and basic services. Replaced my battery recommended by the dealer in 2016, but the battery dead in 2019. when I called them and told them need to replace the battery. Service team mentioned that. We need to run the diagnosis and identify whether it is batter issue or something else. when a other service centers says it is a battery issue. they didnt agree. Then replaced battery with Costco with good customer care. I would better not to come here in the future for my Odyssey.

After looking at another Honda dealership near home (first time mind you), it left a very sour taste. I’m so happy we found Joyce Koons Honda. Yes they were an hour and 20 mins from my house, but so worth it! They worked with us, were professional, friendly, and most importantly actually CARED. Our salesman was Medhat and he was very caring and understood our needs. The manager was just as friendly and they actually worked with us to get me into a Honda Accord EX-L! I absolutely love it. Go see them, you won’t be disappointed!

I dont usually purchase cars from dealerships due to their potentially shady deals and sometimes uncomfortable nature. However, this was the complete opposite of the experience I had. Mariame was our salesperson and she was kind, professional, and understanding. I do not even know where to begin. Let me start by saying a friend was in a disastrous crash in NY and her car was totaled (second time in a Honda. both times a tractor trailer took her out). My friend walked away both times. She messaged me to see what I could find for her car wise in the local area. I went to Edmunds, where I always begin. 4-5 dealerships responded with messages and request for me to come in. Joyce Koons Honda was one of them. But Joyce Koons Honda followed up immediately with a phone call...asked simple questions as to what is necessary and what is a no go. Within a very short time there responded with what they had and even more due in transit. We needed something quickly. I talked to Cliff (and I am sorry I forget the last name), he is a sales manager. He was kind, direct, and sincere. He worked with Frankys one of his associates. Together they stayed in constant communication. Everything was handles on the phone or email. Never would I have thought everything would go so smoothly and quickly. My friend is safe at home and awaiting delivery of her newest Honda! A giant thanks to all at Joyce Koons Honda! 100% A+++++

Brought my car in for a tire rotation and oil change, a regular service on Friday. 2 days and 2k spent, $700 of which was a service I never agreed to (when they said oops let me tell the technician not to do it, conviently the technician was already 1/2 way done) my car started overheating 20 miles down the road.No communication to the customers, or among themselves.Minimal effort to fix their mistakes. And everyone I talked to seemed to view my complaints as just another upset customer, just any other day at the job, nothing to be concerned about.I brought my car here for EVERYTHING since I bought my 2015 civic new. I WILL NOT be coming back.(a lot of the smaller issues left out to keep this short enough that people will read)

Great people to work with. I originally went to the dealership that I purchased my car at and they wanted to charge $1600 to switch out my radar. But the service tech here, found a different approach. And we were able to fix my car issue without replacing the radar. I definitely will come back to work with them. Barely write negative reviews but hopefully this will help the change the culture there. Nancy H, the finance lady here is terrible! Inattentive to customers and lacks communication. First off she was surprised I made over 3 grand a week and thought I made a mistake. That 3 grand was my monthly income. So she had start my credit run with that information she ASSUMED although I filled out the documents properly AND had pay stubs to prove income. She’s also not organized and very pushy to get you signing documents without explanation. Luckily I‘be purchased multiple vehicles in the past so I take my time reading and know all about the unnecessary fees, added maintenance plans and etc. As an out of state customer I’m disappointed. Happy with the vehicle overall but not her service. I would NOT recommend you dealing with this lady unless you don’t care about customer service. Better off with Fernando. When signing documents told I would be able to transfer my out of state plates with no problem. Week later no response, no call, not a word from her. Previously when she asked for information I gave her it the same day regarding my old vin and plates. Week after that I had to reach out to her since I did my own research and saw the transfer process wasn’t complete. She said she never received it, I told her check your email I’m certain it’s there. She said “Oh okay, I see it now. It’s all set. You’ll get it in about 2-3 weeks”. So if it weren’t for me being so pushy or chasing her it wouldn’t of been done? Also it’s not the time frame that I was told when signing. I did emphasize I travel hundreds of miles away from my tax home so I needed it an a timely manner that I could get the updated registration. Again, happy with my vehicle overall but not with finance! Also after writing my review I just got a call from Northwest Federal Credit Union about my lien information even though I was told I was signed on with American Honda by Nancy. Now it makes sense why American Honda said they have nothing on file with me. Please avoid her at all costs! The 1-2 stars about service here are accurate. So PLEASE be mindful

Im probably gonna start looking for a new repair place. I do overnight drop offs because I work late. I get a call at 9am saying my flat tire is fixed but they have other recommendations. I text back at 2pm that I dont need anything else. I show up at 4pm and they havent even fixed the flat. This is becoming a theme. They do good repair work here and a couple of the advisors are great but the coordination and communication are really really lacking

I have never had a car before or knew anything about financeing one, I was helped by Steve Hughes . He was so amazing throughout the whole process and very detailed . I love my Kia it fits me so perfectly . I love this place! My family has so far bought: 2013 Honda Pilot in 2014, a 2015 Honda Civic in 2015, and I just bought a used 2015 Accord this past month. It was very quick, I got in, looked at a few car options within my price range, decided on the car I wanted, and after the test drive went straight to financing.They were cautious of covid the entire step of the way, with hand sanitizing stations, wiped down the car before and after the test drive, see-through glass screens at every desk, but were still able to make you feel comfortable throughout the experience.Financing was also very quick, and from walking into the door to look at cars to finalizing the financing, it took around 2 1/2 hours, all in all a very pleasant experience, and I trust Koons Honda more than any other dealership Ive ever been to.

I was told my maintenance package expired before it actually did, so I ended up bringing my car in for service after the real expiration date, so that was frustrating. Mark called me to tell me this shouldn’t have happened, and gave me a free oil change to make up for the issue. I will be calling Mark directly for service from here on out

I received outstanding service from my sales rep Darius. I called on 12/31 with a request to buy from home that day. Darius provided outstanding communication throughout the process and then delivered the vehicle to my own, took time to explain the vehicle features, and followed up the next day. I originally was planning to purchase from a place closer to my home but received horrible service when I arrived to their location. Im so glad that I called Joyce Koons and so thankful for the outstanding customer service from my sales rep.

Definitely recommend giving this dealership a go if looking to purchase a new vehicle. Our salesperson, Medhat Salem was awesome. He was patient and answered all of our many questions thouroughly; very reassuring for first time buyers like we were. The General Manager, Shawn McGregor, was also very reasonable and fair when negotiating prices. We Bought a new HRV 2021 and love it.

I scheduled my first Valet service appointment today. Now the service rep did mentioned that the waiting block might up to 1 Hr from their supposed promised appointment time. Mine was at 8:30AM. Guess what no one showed, no one called and no email sent regarding the delay. Finally at 1005 someone called. I told him, Cancel the appointment. What kind of business runs like this? no curtesy calls? no notification about running late? I had used their service a few times in the past in -person and never an issue until today..... I will be taking my business some place else.

I bought my Honda Accord from Joyce Koons Honda early last year, just before COVID. But Ive been meaning to write a review all these months! I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. Our salesman Greg Mann was polite, knowledgeable and helpful, and -- unlike most dealerships -- there was no pressure to make a quick decision. We could tell that management cares about the people who work there and their customers. Everyone was friendly with each other and went out of their way to give us a good buying experience. I was also pleased with the price I paid and the excellent follow-up after my purchase. Seriously, I will always go to Joyce Koons Honda for future Honda purchases.

I got quote from Girma Mersha on July 1st, 2021 around 9:38 AM and he quote $22,481.for a 2021 Honda HRV EX FWD. Then he asked me when can I go to the dealer? I follow up try to figure out the total out of door price and he replied back for $27,107.45 ($4,600 for tax, tag, and processing fee???) it doesn’t sound right so I asked for the breakdown. Then Girma apologized and told me that’s for the AWD not FWD. Also the $22,481 was expired and new quote is $23,170 and out of door will be $25,881.69. Then I asked him if that’s the case, can I get the AWD instead for $27,000? Girma didn’t respond my tex and his manger Peter called me and apologized. He told me the $27,107.45 was for FWD not AWD. Basically all numbers they quoted this morning were all wrong quotes. Not sure if they did this all the time or only to me? I guess that’s why people are so afraid to deal with car dealership.

Recently, my wife and I purchased a new 2020 Honda Accord EX from Joyce Koons Honda. Initially, I requested an internet price from Joyce Honda and within an hour, I had an excellent offer from Girma Mersha, a sales agent. The initial offer included all the shipping and administrative fees so I knew what I was dealing with up front. The company was easy to deal with and we quickly agreed that I would take the car. We scheduled a pick-up date a couple of days later when I had time to drive up to Manassas. When we arrived, Mr. Mersha was there to meet my wife and I and the car was recently washed and full of gas. A quick test drive and we were ready to sign all the paperwork that had been completed before arrived. Within 2 to 3 hours of our arrival, the purchase had been completed and we were on our way home. I have bought a lot of cars over the last 60 years and I this was without a doubt the easiest and smoothed car buying experience I have ever had. I want to think Girma for his excellent assistance during this process and I would highly recommend Girma and Joyce Koons Honda should you be in the market for a new vehicle. Just FYI: this is the 3rd Honda I have owned, starting back in 1991 and I have loved every one of them, including this one.

I highly recommend Justin Fernandez and Joyce Koons Honda to any Honda buyers in DMV area. The process of buying a new Honda Accord was super smooth! It took only two hours from test drive to taking the new car home. The final price is exactly the same as quoted in text message and easily beats the other dealerships which I have contacted. They explain what you need to keep your vehicle running smoothly, not what you don’t need. I was in the process of texting a sales person Mansour Assadpour at Koons Honda Manassas and had about 20 texts to workout a deal on a HR-V and had the terms set until he unleased his manager Peter on me telling me only good until 9pm that night; I live in Maryland and no way could make that. When he circled back with me days later and again we thought we had the same deal it had changed to a much higher deal. There was some back and forth until he told me to take it to CarMax people in regards to a deal. My girlfriend is buying this car on a limited budget and every dollar is a big deal and she was a previous customer but I totally felt pressure and their tactics seemed totally unprofessional.She still has not purchased a car yet and it is a shame the dealer so close to her was like this.

AVOID dealing with these guys! I was given a price in writing and then it changed on arrival. Also, when I arrived there the salesperson was busy gossiping on the phone. I am standing right in front of him to buy a car and he was busy gossiping. Then he handed the deal over to a manager who thinks he is the smartest person on the planet. He changed the numbers on me and also offered 40% of the trade-in value from their site. I left and purchased a vehicle from another dealership for $2,000 less than their price and got full trade-in value for my vehicle. This place is run by crooks who promote bait n switch practices. Their sales team and leadership team need a makeover and management classes. Please do yourself and your customers a favor and take those classes!!

In my case the vehicle I was looking for turned out very hard to get, but those are the once that will last the longest. It took my representative Steve and his team to only find it in the neighbor state and on top of it a very hard transaction to make and at the end everything ended up very smoothly to my very satisfaction just the way I wanted the vehicle to be. I basically had an average experience here. I only went there for an oil change but immediately the service advisor was trying to get me to buy a package of items that was much more than I was prepared to spend that day. When I left they gave me a list of service recommendations and among them was Mount and balance for tires for $1,113. keep in mind this is for a Honda Accord so a set of tires could easily be had for $400 so Im concerned about their prices. the dealer is located in an area thats convenient to restaurants and other places where you could kill time while waiting for your vehicle to be ready.
