After attending a very personal family function we decided to go out to eat and chose the Nautilus Diner. We were a big group but the staff there took great care in accommodating our needs. We were all tired and hungry the food was very good and the staff was very attentive. Great place, good service, great food, what else would you want. Thank you Nautilus staff you were great 👍.

Loved it...had the huevos rancheros and loved everything!! Eggs were perfect, sauce on the side, chorizo just the right amount of spice..and cooked perfectly...beans...delish. and corn tortillas warm...perfect!! Paired with a bloody mary...really surprisingly excellent!! Would definitely go back and order the same thing...my friends had corned beef hash and eggs and also loved it. My husband had ham and eggs...and wasnt crazy about it🤷‍♀️

Ive been a customer for many years. Every time I visit, the Diner is a must. Portions are huge and the food is great. Waiters are nice and polite.The cakes are great as well. My absolute favorite are the Burgers. Cant wait for my next visit, as soon as the pandemic is over.

If I could give this place a 0 rating I would. Happened to be in a Trader Joes next door and I was hungry. Decided to give this place a try and I was very optimistic. However after receiving my order I quickly realized this place wasnt going to measure up to my expectation. I ordered a medium well burger and I got a over cooked dry burger. The sweet potato fries lacked taste even after putting salt on it. The service was ok however the waiter didnt come back to check on me until I had about one bite left of my meal.

Place seemed nice from the outside. I understand that Sunday mornings tend to be busy for diners, however this does not justify not being served. We arrived and was seated promptly. However this is were the good service ended. We sat waiting to be served for about 20 min. I then brought it to the attention of one of the waiters were he assured us in 3 mins someone would come to our table. Another 15 mins passed as I watched other families that were seated after us get served promptly. We decided to leave and on our way out informed the waiter as well as the manager. Unfortunate because the place seemed nice.

Ordered a steak medium rare Got a cold Chewy steak. Ordered a cheese burger medium rare got a dry burger with cold fries the cheese wasnt melted the fries were cold and the lettuce was a huge chunk of ice berg lettuce. I asked for Aw sauce the bottle was literally empty.And this was when the restaurant absolutely empty on a monday afternoon.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

One of my all time favorite diners in Mamaroneck. I have been coming here for years the food is great feels like you are at home. This diner is my favorite place to get breakfast with my family or have late night conversations with friends. If you are ever in the area I highly suggest going. New items show up on the menu regularly, their new panini sandwiches are amazing.

We were seated immediately on a sunday afternoon. huge menu, lots of options! food was good, service was good. our waiter looked overwhelmed though, he was waiting on almost every table we walked by. give him a break and hire a helper! lol. if i’m ever in the area again i will consider coming again.

Food was great, ALL the wait staff was also amazing. The only Reason I am giving this place three stars is because of the female Caucasian manager. She was so nasty and rude to her staff. No one should be legally allowed to be in a leadership role when they treat and talk down to their staff. I hope you learn to respect others and not take out your miserable power trip on hard working employees you monster.

Decent diner at times. Long Island family owns it and they co own another Nautilus Diner in Massapequa LI. Food is average at both locations, service is great! Only suggest if you need a quick early breakfast.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Terrible service! Came in on a Sunday to have breakfast with my family and was not served anything besides water. As a person of color, I dont appreciate being overlooked while 3 other Caucasian families recieved service after our arrival. After sitting for 20 minutes with my water and bringing it to the attention of a staff member, I continued to wait another 20 minutes until I decided to take my family to another establishment.

My grandparents love this place. We have been eating there since I was a little girl. Because they est there almost every Sunday the staff is very friendly with them. That is nice and heartwarming, but it doesnt make up for the lackluster food for me. There have been several times when Ive wanted to send back food but wouldnt simply to appease my grands. I abhor paying for subpar food though. And frankly this food hasnt been stellar in at least a decade. They push through volume but not necessarily quality. Which is a shame because nothing beats good diner food. This just isnt it. Dont get me wrong. There are certain menu items that are yummy and if they are less busy usually the food is of higher caliber. But there are other diners in the area that are more consistent and have better food.

All burgers are cooked well done. I recommend the chicken sandwich platters. Waffle fries are what the diner is known for and they are great. When ordering bacon ask for “crispy” otherwise it is very chewy. If you have an order that is complicated, have the waiter/waitress repeat the order back to make sure correct.

From decor, to service, to food all were just mediocre. Giving you giant portions of mediocre food is not really a plus. Would give 2.5 stars if I could.

Wonderful place. 24 hours of really great food. Some dishes like the steak tips over rice with vegetables are sublime. It’s my go to brunch place for when I’m entertaining large groups. The parking can get filled up quickly in the usual busy times.The owners at the cashier can be a little off putting.However the waitstaff are very nice and competent. The place is always clean, that especially means the bathroom.I’ve really never had a bad experience there. I love it.

This diner has been my favorite diner for a very long time. Late nights back in college, and no matter what time, always the best. No matter what time of day it is, food quality is always good. Not terribly pricey and everything is really quick and accommodating. Ive never had an issue here. Staff are amazing. Comfy and cozy atmosphere

Always try to get here with my parents who frequent here. Owners and staff very attentive, and prices are very reasonable for the area. Portions are perfect. Cole slaw is epic, and alone worth the trip. Bakery is worth exporting to a different state to others. Linzer tarts in two sizes. Good!

This place turned out to be a really nice surprise.After a movie a friend and I decided to get something to eat so we headed out to this diner. This was a first visit there for me.I saw that French Onion Soup was on the menu so we both decided to have that and to spit a cheeseburger deluxe.The server was right there when we needed him and kept the coffee and water filled. A dish of great coleslaw and delicious picked was brought to the table before we even ordered.The atmosphere at this diner is awesome. The place is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The food was delicious and the wait staff on the ball.I cant wait to go back to The Nautilus.

Weve been going to this diner for years and the staff has been more difficult. Apparently the customer is not always right. In the past weve asked for a small bowl of mac and cheese to with hot dog for our 4 year old and theyve been gracious. Recently, theyve only allowed us to buy a huge adult portion mac and cheese.My wife wanted to replace her burgers fries with a small salad and that was denied. She received a full size salad. In the end we ordered 5 full meals for two adults and one child totaling over $60. Its not worth the hassle or argument any more. Weve mentioned this to our family and friends in New Rochelle so theyre aware.

Fantastic Reuben sandwich (I had the corn beef not the pastrami). Potato salad that came with it was also very good.

Ice cream very good, better than expected, would recommend.Slices of cake best to avoid. They looked great in the display cabinet but when we ordered them they were not nice, too dry (must be the recipe because consistent dryness throughout), not much flavor, frosting was very sugary.

Decorated for Halloween. Hostess was pleasant and greeted with a smile. Seating promptly. Menu has loads of selections for any time meals. Food was served hot and tasty. Waiter happy to answer questions about the menu. Chicken Cordonbleu was amazing. Definitely repeat customer.

This diner shines above all the diners I’ve visited. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food selection has something for everyone, the building is quaintly decorated. Management strives to serve the most hospitable environment and customer happiness is clearly valued above all else. Stocked bar was a pleasant surprise, not something I’ve found in other diners in other states. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, whatever you’re feeling, stop by.
