Working with Ron was great. He has a no pressure attitude and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable about the deal. He is a great salesman to work with compared to the typical dealership. I would recommend him to anyone who is skeptical of buying used cars.

Great experience! Despite the appt only covid policy Ron was super flexible and helpful and got me right in to check out the F-150 I eventually bought. I spend a TON of time looking online and this was the best price/year/mileage truck I found. No sales pressure at all. Super clean showroom and detail shop. I will 100% check their inventory first next time I need a vehicle. Thanks Ron!

Initially, the experience was very disappointing but after Joe got involved he turned everything around. My husband and I had some concerns and once Joe stepped in they were all addressed. I feel very confident now about our purchase and am so happy my husband LOVES his truck! I feel its important to state that all efforts are being made to make our buying experience top notch..thanks again, Joe and thank you Richard Motorcars :)

Had a great experience buying an F-250. Ron was very easy and nice to work with. Gave me the keys and said go take it for a ride, come back in 20-30 minutes and let me know what you think. There pricing is very fair. There are no negotiations on the price, which I liked. I bought my last truck the same way at different dealer. I hate the back and forth BS. Did my homework. The truck was right at or a little below market value. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars, is because the truck did not come with a manual and I had to buy one from Amazon for $65.

Was purchasing this car from Chicago IL, Jeremy was 120% cooperative w/ me in every aspect of the purchase. He even worked w me since i’d have to fly in on a weekend to collect the car for a drive back, I told him a time, and he gave me a green light. had the car detailed, oil changed, and smelling good standing at the gate waiting for. Never once felt rushed our pressured. drove the car 1600mi out the gate and it was a dream. Appreciate ya Jeremy!

If I can give this place ZERO star I would. We purchased a car her at the end of December, after the test drive, we sense that there were problem. The manager promised to get everything fixed. However, a days taken the car home after the fixed the car stopped working. We brought the car back, it had to be sent to dealer to be fixed. There were no loaner, my husband and I were struggling with car sharing. 1 month after the car was taken home, there were problem again. We called the manager, he said it was out of guarantee. BE WARE OF THIS PLACE PEOPLE. Not very honest people.

Richards Motorcars are hand down the best! I have waited several months to do this review, because I wanted to drive it and make sure I could give an honest review. Bought a Toyota Tundra (2010) Platinum with 68,000 miles. I live in Kansas so 1500 miles from Boston. First I told them I wanted the truck and gave them my cc to secure the purchase. After they knew I was buying the pickup the called and told me that they would put new tires, new wiper, new brakes, replace a mirror that ha a scratch, and a set of factory rubber floor mats! I didn’t have to pay a cent more. I have probably bought 15 different vehicles from different dealers and individuals over the internet and have never dealt with a nicer, honest, and friendly dealership. The pickup was more than I expected by a large margin. While I was there I looked at their inventory and everything I looked at was outstanding! I have told everyone about this dealership. I will buy all my vehicles from them from now on. If I could I would give them 10 stars! I don’t give many reviews, but they went beyond what I expected and I just had to commend them for a truly amazing experience! Thanks. (I do want to tell you that they talk with a funny accent, but don’t let it fool u, they are honest as the day is long)

I would give this place 0 stars if I could, based solely on the salesman that I dealt with - JEREMY FLINKSTROM. I reached out to inquire about a Q60 Red Sport they have on the lot, and tried to make an appointment to go check out the car and test drive it. It took a few days for them to get back to me, even though they said they would reply in less than 24 hours. This was not a huge deal. I’m in no rush. However, when Jeremy Flinkstrom finally got back to me, I tried to set up a time and day to go see the car. He insisted that we agree on a price before letting me test drive or even going to SEE the car, because they are “by appointment only” and he didn’t want to “waste his time”. Spoke with him on the phone for a short while, I had some questions, he had some questions. CarGurus lists the vehicle as a 1 owner car, and CarFax lists the vehicle as a 3 owner car. When I asked about this, Jeremy did not even know the answer. What I was told was, “It’s most likely a 1 owner car, 2 owners max”. When I asked about service records, he told me that they buy all their cars from a dealership in Canada, and therefore they have no records. This makes ZERO sense, as I can get service records even if I buy a car from a guy down the street from my house. Again, wouldn’t give me a time to come check the car out for myself without first settling on a price. I have never heard of a dealership who does this; must have something to hide about the car - SHADY. When I asked if there would be any concerns about the car since there were no service records, Jeremy kindly informed me that there are no problems since he pulled the car in and backed the car up! How reassuring! Last but not least, his tone was very condescending just over the phone, I would hate to deal with him in person. Jeremy lost himself and this dealership a very serious buyer. If you absolutely have to go to this dealership, STAY AWAY FROM JEREMY FLINKSTROM. Highly unprofessional, rude, uneducated on the cars that they have on their own lot. I would rather have to walk everywhere than buy a car from him.

My experience at Richards auto was very different to say the least. I read many reviews about the test drive policy, which got me wary to begin with, but I continued to schedule the viewing of a car I was very interested in. I was told I could not finance because I wasn’t from the state. That was okay but it was odd that on their website says “local and national financing”, which later to find out “they don’t update their website”. Very misleading. Apparently they only update their site with the new cars and photos (makes sense tight). The next thing was when deciding whether or not to purchase an almost $50,000 car I was not able to not only test to drive it, but also even start the car up unless a purchase agreement was made up. To me it sounds like a waste of time and raised a red flag right away. Our salesperson Jeremy said in order to test drive it that agreement had to be wrote up, signed, and the price must be agreed upon. Which there was no agreement on price because there was no haggle room, the price was set. Would have been easier if they just said that upfront. When asking Jeremy multiple questions about the vehicle, features, and what if I agree on the price but don’t like the drive, it was almost as if it was all BS answers. His response “we can still leave as friends”, “no point of going back and forth on the price” and “he has been very patient with us” when we were only there about an hour, when we drove 2 hours to check out the car. Fact of the matter is until I sit and drive behind a 50k vehicle that I was highly interested in, I am not signing anything. Isn’t the test drive suppose to be the selling point? For a car that was 1k below market price, I would have much rather either shopped online and saved a few thousand for what this “dealer” is essentially doing or paid the extra few thousand and went with a dealer that treated me better and actually let me drive the car before I agreed to sign anything. Jeremy’s lack of interest, lay back personality, little knowledge of the car and the dealer’s policy’s, and smart remarks, did not sit well with me. The “take it as it is” mentality raised a lot of red flags and I’m sure lost a lot of serious buyers in the process. I have never heard of such a policy about the test drive.Bottom line: If saving 1 or 2 thousand dollars is worth the sketchy, unsettling, and multiple red flags of a business Richards is trying to promote, then go for it. Unfortunately I was not able toRisk losing a very large amount of money due to not being able to start up the car when the salesman sounded like he was BSing me from the start. Should have listened to the many negative reviews about this “dealer” and make sure to do your research!Update in regards to the response from Richards Auto: Thanks for the response, but there have been several reviews years before COVID-19 and the unusual, and in my opinion unethical “test drive policy”. But nice try by blaming “COVID’s new procedures” as if this wasn’t the shady policy this business has been doing all along. Yet, another strike in my book. My opinion: 0 stars if google reviews let me

Very rude sales person. I can’t speak on dealership as a whole but would not recommend working with Jeremy. Vehicle I was interested had an accident not reported I found via auto check. When I asked about the accident he had no info to provide. I then went to renegotiate deal on vehicle and said he would not budge on the price BMW X3 black. Simply suggested he updated add and went into a huff and puff about not telling him how to do his job. All via text btw when I asked him to call. I had to call the dealership to even get him to respond to me.

Horrible experience. Went to look at the car and was told it was a showroom car and I couldn’t test drive it. After finally putting a down deposit I was allowed to take it for a drive. Jeremy (car salesman) was young and not responsive to my phone calls at all. I was chasing them the entire time to get the car. Once I did get it a month and a half later I had to spend thousands on repairs. I reached out to dan (manager) with questions about the car and he did not get back to me. Once I did reach them they were not interested at all in helping in any way shape or form. I would never return to this place even is the car was given to me. Terrible

Bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from them in March 2016; the entire experience was great. Worked with Luis, negotiated a price over the phone, vehicle was exactly as described (they detailed it up real nice before pickup), purchase was quick, painless, and easy. Just an FYI- I learned that a lot of their cars for sale are imports from the Canadian market (as was the one I bought); this wasnt an issue for me (they are sending out the gauge cluster to be updated to miles / mph gratis).

Shocking Experience****************************STAY AWAY!****************************I had an awful experience. The GM wanted to test drive my vehicle but refused to provide me with his drivers license to ensure he was even a legal driver. If I provide my license to drive one of your cars, then you should provide me with yours if you are driving mine. I wanted a call back from the owner of the company but I still have not heard back from anyone. If you ask me, they seem to be purchasing the cars directly to the company which voids any kind of lemon law upon sale (Once a vehicle is a company car in the state of Massachusetts then lemon laws no longer apply for the consumer) that an ordinary dealership would happily help the consumer with.Overall: Horrible experience with the upper management, but the first salesman (Vinny) who helped was very kind and helpful and I could tell he was a genuine guy, go see him if you HAVE to deal with this place. As for their leadership team; awful customer relations and they need to clean house of their over zealous management. I have done many transactions in my day and this was by far the worst experience I have ever ecountered. You would expect more proffesionalism out of a GM, it was almost as if I asked him to give me his first born child. STAY AWAY!****************************STAY AWAY!****************************

Before you buy a car from this place, I would check out the reviews. All of them. I was going to purchase a Range Rover, and all they care about is the money not you or you having a great experience. We done the deal over the phone, and was going to have it shipped to OK. As normal they asked for a $500.00 deposit. I said I need the buyers purchase agreement before I give you my credit card number. Mike (car salesman) said ok and faxed it to me. Everything appeared to be fine. I got busy and a few days slipped by. Mike called and said, I was off for a couple of days and never got your fax back with the credit card info. Mike stated its ok you can fax me later to go ahead and get me the credit card number and I will run it. I stated that I have the purchase agreement with me and was out of town at the time he called. He insisted that I go ahead and give him the cc #, and I refused. He was pushy and had a bad feeling about it. I said Mike go ahead and fax another purchase agreement to my office and I will have my office manager sign off on it. He did and the amounts changed because I was out of town and tried to pull one over on me for a $2,000.00 down deposit, plus all the bs fees that was not even mentioned or talked about. I have purchased cars online numerous times, and have never had a problem. I want this place to sink.

Great experience: From email to signingI was in the market for CPO BMW and it was slim pickings, in fact many were 500+ miles away. However I stumbled on Richards Motorcars via Cars dot com, realized they had the EXACT car/model/features/age I was after. I dropped a quick note and within a few hours got an initial response from Nick. I felt no pressure in the communications and he answered all of my initial questions. I decided to take the ride out to the dealer (about an hour away), saw the car in person, looked it over and spoke with Nick in person. I was still looking around so I decided to think it over. A few hours later I called to leave a deposit, got the initial paperwork signed and began the process.. which normally is a rough time.However... after all the legal stuff, paperwork, plates and dealer preparation I picked the car up without fuss, no dealer-add-ons, they even let me finalize the deal with the finance department via phone, so really there is NO pressure to buy.I have to say, in all it was a great experience, the price was right, Nick was great to work with.. and if im in the market again ill give the boys over at Richards Motorcars a call!Side note: When I went to pick up the car I met the dealership owner, great guy.. also very knowledgable and professional.
