There is nothing more satisfying then walking in to a local, family owned establishment and receiving a 5 ⭐ experience.I dont recall the gentlemans name who helped me find some very specific sized hardware, but it wasnt a task I was willing to take on myself and spend hours walking up and down the aisles locating.Wes was as pleasant as anyone could be at the front register, and it was abundantly clear that he loves what he does and it shows.See you soon Ace!

I came in missing a LOT of unusual screws, bolts, etc. needed to put a glass and metal desk together that had been taken off the market by the manufacturer. Paul Allen went out of his way ... even using his imagination to help find replacements for the pieces I was missing. He spent a great deal of time and effort to help me and I walked out fully stocked. He was TERRIFIC!

I feel like ACE took advantage of the fact I am Deaf and couldn’t hear them. I recently bought a Toro lawn mower from this location. It cost me 330$. The first time I used it the front wheel locked up and would not turn. I took it back 20 days later to the store and asked for a replacement or a refund. I explained to them that I was deaf and I wanted refund or replacement. Apparently They told me they would fix it. BUT I specifically told them I didnt want a refurbished or fixed lawn mower. I wanted a new one or my money back since obviously it was a defective lawn mower. They said they had to send me to another location. A Winter park location for a New one. They took down my info and gave me a ticket. Two days later they text me telling me it was fixed and I owed 41$ for labor and new parts. It was brand new...I never asked them to fix it. They refused to replace it with a new one. Refused to refund me my 330$ even though I had a receipt and it was less than 20 days old.So having no choice I paid the 41$ and took the lawn mower home. The very next time I used the lawn mower....IT BROKE AGAIN. SAME WHEEL. And they are still refusing to replace it. I will never Shop at ACE again. The manager Erika claimed she didnt want to get involved and was zero help at all even though she told us in advance to bring it back. Quin is a nice guy but even he took advantage of the fact I cant hear and couldnt hear them or lip read them behind their masks. Horrible experience. I own a landscape and rehabs company. I have to buy tools and lawn equipment all the time. I have never had such issues anywhere else. I will be taking my Business somewhere else and I suggest everyone double checks anything they buy from ACE or this location. Im out $371 bucks and all I got is a broken lawn mower. Gee, Thanks ACE.

I really like doing business for the most part at this ace local hardware store but I Was sorely disappointed today with their serviceI came today to fill my propane tanks four of them for a total of 50+ dollarsIt was sprinkling outside today so they politely refunded my money and told me they could not fill my bottles i the rainI drove less than a half a mile down the street to U-Haul who politely filled my four bottles- although I did have to pay three dollars more a bottle to have them filled- it was worth it for the convenience of getting it done todayUhaul provides their employees with a tent cover so that they can actually service customers even in the rain, I would really suggest that Ace thinks about doing the same thing so that customers aren’t worried with trying to get back to their store after making a special trip to fill the propane tanks.

Great Experience at Ace Hardware - Maitland. We went into the store looking for a Green Egg Grill. ( They had a huge variety compared to the Ace hardware down the street. So if this is what your looking for look no farther! ) We went into the store not 100% sure on size or accessories we would need. Clayson answered all of our questions and was absolutely amazing! We wanted to take home the grill that day vs wait for delivery which wasn’t a easy ask considering the weight of these Grills. Clayson had us in and out of the store with everything loaded in our car and helped us with assembling instructions so that we could cook out that night. I will definitely be coming back to the store for more Green Egg accessories! Go see Clayson he knows his stuff! A+

I bought 2 keys at 25.00 each they did not work. I took them back. They would not remake or give us our money back. The manager told us to get out She used the f word and told us too bad. I will post this everyday. This is a terrible way to run a business. You keep that 50.00 dollars I will tell everyone I know about you. Don’t ever buy keys from ace hardware Maitland. I will never spend another dollar there

Nice store - well stocked but new employees need customer service enthusiasm training In the recent past they had some friendly outgoing team members, but now just average lately - not real happy to be employed.

Everyone was friendly, and the store was clean but more than half the staff were not wearing masks in the middle of a pandemic which is hitting our state worse than others for this very reason. I would have gone somewhere else entirely if what I wanted was available anywhere but this place. If you are high risk do not visit this location.

Nice place I needed a keychain fairly inexpensive and well I got what I needed ..... nice customer service too okay so 7 months ago I posted this review Ive gone back several times and one thing I must say I dont know what other people have come across but these guys are super duper nice and the customer service is awesome phenomenaI i went into the store an as soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed any help 10 seconds inside of the store now the reason Im making a big deal now is because customer service is super duper important it doesnt matter where the store is doesnt matter what the product is it is important that your customer service is top of the line otherwise the rest of the business is going to suffer as it should I went to another Ace hardwood store in the Longwood area my daughter my grandson and myself walked in there, there were three people behind us all red shirts (employees) not one single person greated us no one no one asked if we needed any help even though clearly we were there looking for something hardware store right I decided to turn around and walk out for excuse me we decided to turn around and walk out as we were walking out the lady at the front desk now mind you she was busy when we first walked in there I dont knock her but by that time it was too late to offer any real assistance we were headed out the door going to a store that appreciates business and we did I went to my neighborhood Ace Hardware Store and that is where the customer service was top of the line I talked to several people there including the assistant manager Mr. Jake Carter I cant I cant remember the name of the young lady that greeted me when I came in the door I think the name begins with J with a hyphen in her name and she was new however she was on top of her game she was the one that had excellent customer service skills needless to say I will continue to patronize this store because they always behave the same way doesnt matter what color you are what shape you are how old you are how young you are none of that matters Mr. Carter the Asst Mgr. let us know that the owner Mr. Toole operates this way always. All I know is they get an A+ + at this point I prefer them over all others and I will refer everyone I can to this store and go out of my way just to go to this particular hardware store because of their strong customer service after all without customers what does any business have. Thank you Mr. Toole and all of the people that work for you, you run a wonderful business and you have a great business model I wish that it could be copied for all the businesses that lack it and there are many. Very helpful staff. Lacks the vast selection of a mega box store, obviously, but prices on same/similar products is competitive. So I would highly recommend for anyone not looking to go on a 2 mile hike to pickup a few essentials.

Great hardware store with something of everything! You can buy a few nails or a giant green egg grill, power washer, lawn mower, paint, cleaning supplies, etc,etc.

Britt is fantastic. Always knows where to find things and directs me exactly where I need to go. checkout is just as quick and friendly. I know my experience is going to be pleasant and Ill have an efficient visit whenever shes working. Great store!

I want to support my local businesses. They make this easy to do with some unique product brands, reasonable prices and great customer service.

Customer service severely lacking in some associates. I was in the store around 9am on the 20th and as I was next in line for checkout the male cashier Daniel simply walked away without a word to me as I went to set my items down. Luckily a female associate was near by stocking and, witnessing this, quickly took over. She greeted me, apologized for his rudeness, and handled the transaction so I was able to check out. Why couldnt the cashier who was already there have the same courtesy?

I called to ask if they had any rubbing alcohol available. Yes they did but it was 99%proff. The employee formed me that this is very potent, that I need to dilute it. If I was using it at home or office. I thanked him for this information.

Amazing service and staff! Anaia was able to Assist me in getting a copy key for my work truck! I had previously been to Two Home Depot’s which they were unable to help. Came to this Ace hardware and again Anaia was able to get a working copy within minutes! Saved me a trip from going to the ford dealership and saved me money! Highly recommend this location and Anaia for her masterful skills with making keys!!

I went in looking for a particular locking solution and Kyle and Ethan went above and beyond to help me. They opened up one package to explain exactly how to do something and they took their time demonstrating it to me over and over because it was a bit complicated for me. They were interested in more than the sale, that was obvious.

I went to your location on Aug 8th around 6:15 to purchase something. We didnt realize it until the next day that what we were given was for the interior and not the exterior. So Sunday Aug 9th I called and spoke to Anaia and she was very nice and told me to come in that day so she could take care of it herself. I drove over there again from Apopka and she went above and beyond what is expected of service to her customers. She not only fixed the problem and took great care of me that I ended up buying more than I had originally thought. All as I can say is that you better take great care of an employee like that or someone else will steal her away from your company, like me.

Love this store. I shop here first. The employees are always knowledgeable and go out of their way to be helpful. Selection is better than I would expect at a local hardware store. I went in today for small metal trash cans (I called them large buckets). They had the perfect size but didn’t have lids so they ordered them for me. Durante knew right where to take me when I told him I wanted a bucket. I wanted to add lids. Manager Amit, offered to order sets with lids right away and did. And cashier Lili is always cheerful, awesome, and can tell you where to find everything. I know I’m wordy but they really are that good. Love this place!

Fair prices on tools, hardware items and pressure washer rentals. They make keys, sharpen knives, bulk chlorine and the store is well organized and friendly staff are there to help. Great service and like that I dont have to buy a large quantity when I need fewer fasteners, for example.

First time to ever visit the store....it was nice and spacious, well lit, aisles were clearly marked as to what was located on that aisle; very organized layout! Staff were friendly and helpful, too! Recommend it highly as your great old neighborhood hardware store!

Every single person here is friendly, helpful and so cheerful to answer any and all questions :) its worth the extra time for me to drive to Maitland to see these guys! Also- they have incredible prices. Way lower than big box stores and even better than other local Ace hardwares since theyre independently owned.My go to! Will never go to another hardware store again!!!!

Was in town for sons graduation when he decided we had to have homemade ice cream (in December). Could not find an ice cream maker anywhere when I thought about Ace Hardware. Checking on line, this was the only location that had them in stock! Awesome service... Very helpful & friendly. Now a proud owner of a White Mountain ice cream maker!

What a great store. Probably the nicest Ace Hardware store Ive been to. They had everything i needed and easy to find. Can be a bit more expensive then big box stores but the convenience, speed, and helpful staff made up for that.

Definitely not for the pro. Metal bucket lids and no metal buckets. What?! 8 out of 10 times I go there, they don’t have what I need. Basic stuff. But if I wanted to buy a Yeti cooler, there’s 10% of the store devoted to them. You’d think a hardware store as small as that, would stick with the essentials and not oven mitts.

This store is absolutely amazing. You walk in and get greeted every time and feel so welcome. The store is very organized. I was helped immediately and found exactly what I needed.

Very disappointed when I finally got a call back from store manager regarding a job position there. I believe his name was Amit . I’ve been reaching out to him for the longest going back and fourth and then finally calls me back giving me a interview at the ending of the month telling me in a rude way if I want to wait that long that’s on me how he is interviewing 17 more people then me . He basically sounded like he didn’t care to help me . I’ve been dealing with customer service and cash handling for 5 years since I was in high school . He was just talking to me like he’s above me because he’s manager and I really didn’t like that . Don’t put a job offer up if you guys are gonna act like you don’t need anybody.

Needed a key made front register guy was like its in the back, then I stood back there for like 5 minutes for someone to help me and I had to go find. That person was great but the front person seemed very disinterested.

This ace had exactly what I needed and the employee Kyle knew exactly where to find what I was looking for on multiple items. Duranté also helped me load my vehicle with the play sand I purchased. Thank you both very much for the great customer service!!

Apparently it was Kiersons first day. That is mind blowing. What a breath of fresh air. He taught me some amazing advice and was a great help in regards to mounting my TV. I would highly recommend this store and will be coming back here for future DIY endeavors.

Excellent experience with help from Maitland Ace Hardware. Im 1200 miles from Maitland and wanted to give my kids a Traeger grill for Christmas, but it was sold out online. I tried the local Traeger suppliers, and Maitland had what I was looking for. Lili helped me order the grill on the Ace website, and the manager Amit helped me arrange for my kids to pick it up. Normally they dont allow anyone other than the buyer to pick up merchandise, but they were so helpful in setting up a pickup from someone other than myself. The grill was assembled for free within 24 hours of when I ordered. Very very helpful.

I was sad when the new, local Orchard was closing down and decided to give Maitland Ace a try this past weekend. Let me just say that this store blew me away. Carried WAY more items that I thought they would have. I do not have any issues driving a little further from home to make this my local hardware store.

Well trained staff all smiles in stocks good and super layout very clean well organized Store. I live 12 miles away in Apopka. Needed plumbing supplies on Sunday. This store is open Apopka closed on Sunday. So impressed I may do all my Ace Business in Maitland I am serious. Thanks Maitland Associates Keep Smiling

I ordered the key from the store in the end of September. I was told I should get the key a week or two. In the October I called and checked nobody even knew where my order was. I hung up and called backa again finally someone found the order, and yet he said the key was on the backorder. I waited two weeks, decided going to the store to check. The guy who took care taking 15 minute to check and then told me the key is on the backorder, and he needed to submit the order again. By this time, I am PO. I told him go ahead to give me the refund. He replied You have to wait for my manager and he is somewhere in the store. I WAITED AGAIN. By now, I am very angry, and I paid 150$ or more for the key and waited almost two months, and the order was not even there. NOW I HAVE To wait for the manager who wondering around the store instead of a customer who has a big issue with their service. I do suggest thinking twice b4 getting keys done at ACE. I decided to cancelled my credit card payment for none received merchant since they dont care about customers.

Ace hardware by the sign on the front but lacks the services offered by most. They cant sharpen lawn mower blades and dont have a legitimate locksmith that can pick and reset a kwikset. Still love having an ace nearby though and the live bait is a nice touch!

Went in yesterday during the storm and got stuck inside due to the harsh weather. Staff was very friendly and more than accomodationg to assist with my purchase, but also allow me to hang out during the bad weather! Nice to know local, small business can still be ran the right way!
