We booked our moving 4 months in advance and was told that we would have our stuff in a 8 day window. The people there never called to tell us our stuff was delayed. We had to call daily for updates. They have now told us we will get our stuff in a week. We’ll see when we get it. They did offer $100 credit every day it was late but that doesn’t go very far with three meals a day for two adults and a baby and hotel room.
Did not move all of our items. Left them in their warehouse 6+ weeks. Delivered two items to the wrong address after clearly stating they did NOT go to that address. Dodged questions during the whole process. No straightforward answers. Takes absolutely NO responsibility for their shortcomings. And sugar coats it with that thick southern honey its fine the whole damn time.
First, the man who did our estimate was a poor judge of how much we had to move, while bragging about his years of experience. Second, the movers verbally insulted us and cursed us both in our old house and our new house. Third, we are still finding boxes that were grossly mislabeled and items that were scuffed or packed upside down or packed without regard. Fourth, the claims process for damages has been a very hands-off process. Nothing was considered in our favor. If Mayflower or United send you to Armstrong, REFUSE.
I used Armstrong relocation services for my recent corporate move. I had an excellent experience at all levels. Julie Johnson was my coordinator. Julie was responsive, communicative, and facilitated all activities. Loved her!! The packing of my home was done extremely well and I had minimal issues with broken items at my final destination. Loading, unloading of the truck was done well. I highly recommend Armstrong Relocation for any move!!!!
I would give 0 stars if it were an option. The walk through with Philip went fine. He recommended 4 guys since our house was almost 3,000 square feet. I paid up front $1,543.00 for 4 guys ($200 an hour) for 7 hours plus $108.00 for mattress boxes and $35.00 fuel charge for a local move that was less than 10 miles. The guys showed up with 2 tiny box trucks. I immediately asked if everything would fit. I was told that our crew and 18 wheeler with our boxes, blankets, and dollies were dispatched to a different location. These guys started wrapping furniture and ran out of blankets, had no mattress boxes, and did not have the dolly they needed to load a gun safe. I told them to make sure to leave room for the refrigerator, washer, dryer, and gun safe because I knew half our stuff would not fit. They quickly filled up the 2 trucks except for just enough room to fit the frig, washer, dryer, and safe, but did not have any more blankets to wrap them or the right dolly to load them. They wanted to take what was loaded to the other house and unload and drive back and forth moving the rest of the stuff. I told them no, I am not paying $200.00 an hour for them to drive back and forth because they did not bring what they needed. They took a break every hour, sat there waiting for someone to bring them blankets and a jack dolly, and stopped at a gas station on the way to the other house. I was done with them after that. They were there a total of 4 hours and did nothing for more than 1 of the hours. I was refunded for 3 hours because they have a 4 hour minimum. I am supposed to be getting a refund for the mattress boxes. I paid $835.00 for 3 hours of work and for half of our stuff to be moved 9 miles.
Let me start off how great their customer service is. They answered every question I could think of promptly and courteously. The guys were super personable, friendly and extremely hard working. we had to tell both the packers and the unloaders to take breaks because they were like machines even in all this heat. I havent even gotten to the best part. Once ypu are done THEY TAKE THE BOXES AND PAPER BACK!!! I would gladly call this company again . Thank you for being so wonderful.

Worked with a crew out of Dallas-Three on the move out, two on the move in. Could not be more impressed! Professional, clean, thorough. Protected carpet and floors from rain wet wheels on dolly too. My framed pictures came out in perfect condition. My antique piece of marble made the move without a scratch. Arrival, right on time. There were two different pick up sites and they had no problems with that. They adapted to what I had. Delivery as promised. The people in the office tracked us every step of the way to make sure we were satisfied and everything was being done right and done well. My wife and I are very happy, very satisfied, and if there were more stars wed give them out.

On time and hastle free move. These guys did what they said they would do, answered all questions timely and followed up with me throughout the entire process. The extra money was worth the piece of mind to move through a reputable company like United Vanlines.
Make sure that you find out about possible charges ahead. They scheduled a third party to install washing machine bolts. The contractor didn’t provide new bolts just screwed in the ones I had, that cost was $850. They tried again to schedule someone to take them out for an additional $550. Never once did they have the driver take weight tickets. They initially tried to charge me $13+K after addressing this the price suddenly dropped to $8500. They have still never provided weight tickets. I had to unpack everything and they never provided box pick up even though my company paid for it.
They were great with our move. Very professional from start to finish. We had the same people wrap and pack our home as we did drive and move it from state to state. They were all great, I would definitely recommend them.

This company is dishonest, does not show up for appointments and blames you, the customer, for their failure. A wasted day of sitting waiting on a walk-through, rude and dishonest customer service. I cannot emphasize DISHONEST enough. Beware.
