Good people. Highly recommended.
Service and sales there are very good. They know their stuff and they dont rake you over the coals for fixing stuff. They just replaced my carb, filters, and oil. Was quick and they kept me in the loop when something needed to be done.
Midway has always done very good work for me and at a reasonable price.Although I have always ridin a Harley, I only take it to Midway. I would never use The Harley Place. Thank goodness for Midway! James Rainey
They do great work! They also stock motorcycle tires here locally.
I needed to replace a punctured rear tire for my Z900. They had a great tire on their rack, at a great price.
Even with being backed up with work, Midway Cycle was able to get my rear brake replaced on short notice. Very thankful for the guys here.
I buy parts and accessories there often. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Rob who works at the counter is always helpful in making sure I leave with what I need, great guy.
These people are awesome called and they had the parts I needed. super quick shipping. Perfect customer service
These guys are absolutely awesome.Have taken my 2019 Goldwing in for the 12,000 and 16,000 mile services. I have also had some front end balance checks done.Just picked up my bike from the 16,000 mile service. At 16,000 miles this bike requires an air filter replacement which Honda made about as stupid as it could. Major disassembly has to take place.Marc and his Tech’s did a fantastic job. Everything looks and works just like it did when I took it in. He was fair and honest with me on the quotes he gave me. I am very satisfied with the result.Prices are very fair. Quality of work and there professionalism is a real pleasure. Will be going to Midway Cycle as long as they are there!
Awesome inventory and FaNTaBuLoUs people working there!!
Used part the sell on eBay and 100$ hr shop rate
I have been doing business with Midway Cycle for many years. The atmosphere there has always been service oriented, with a we can do that attitude. They have many years of combined experience, and the employees are riders. The prices on tires, parts, and labor are very competitive, and fair. If what you are looking for is not in stock, they are more than willing to order it for you.Ill always choose Midway over any other shop in the area.
Had what I wanted. Very helpful. Had antique Bultacos on display!
Ive been doing business on and off with Middway since the 80s. Although nobody there knows me. They have always been nice and fair. And that is why I continue to do business with them.
Great shop serving all kinds. Older to vintage is their specialty. Highly recommended.
Excellent customer service, friendly professional people. Shout out to Rob,Bill, and Mark. These guys always have what I need.
Extremely immature owner that would rather lie and come up with excuses than take responsibility for his terribly ran business and try to improve it. I beg everyone, dont shop here. There are plenty of other extremely nice motorcycle shops in the area with much, MUCH better service, and you wont be supporting a liar and a cheat named Bill. Just look at the way he responds to all the reviews here to get an idea of his character. I think he literally lied in one response here and tried to make it look like the guy left a bad review because he had been fired. That tells you the shady, manipulative kind of behavior they promote at this business.
Took the bike in for an unknown issue. After some digging the logical choice was an engine swap. When the guys tore it apart they found the issue and didnt need to do the swap. Huge savings. Most shops would have just done the work and banked the money. I cant say enough how great these guys have been. Marc in the service department is awesome.10/10 these guys have a customer for life now.
Great people! Very helpful and knowledgeable.Always eager to assist with motorcycle problems.
Had the battery I need at a fair price.
Wow, 5 stars! I was shocked at how great the service was. I came in and as soon as I saw the show room, I was sure I was in the wrong place because of the high volume of KTM dirt bikes But the guy at the counter soon assured me they had a LARGE selection of used parts for Japanese street bike and ATV parts and if they didnt have it that they would order if for me if needed. I was looking for a Regulator Rectifier for my 1998 GSX750F Katana. The guy told me to hang on and he went in the back and found me one and sold it to me for a great price. A few weeks later my buddy needed ATC 250 three wheeler headlight. We stopped by Midway and sure enough they had it. He was gone for about 10 minutes, but they had it.I will continue to return for any future parts. The place is wonderful, has a super friendly staff and extremely knowledgeable Mechanics.
They do very good work on bikes they also have awsome apparel
The staff are great! I had a battery i needed to replace and didnt have my receipt they rembered me and honored the warranty!! thats why i will continue to buy from here.
Price is to high and pour salesman ship. Wait time is to long
I walked in with a loose wheel and a tire for them to mount and balance I’m glad the guys know what their doing because I didn’t pay attention to the tire year date and it was 13 years old so they got me a new tire and on my way within thirty minutes on a busy Saturday morning. Definitely would go back!
Pretty fast service. And seem to be fairly priced.
Outstanding service, professional staff and prices that will have you going back for all your bike needs!!
Rob was very helpful and a great resource
Super helpful. They asked appropriate questions to help me decide on which tires to put on my Buell. Installed both tires in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday. Thanks so much!!!
Very helpfull finding hard to find parts and tellung me how to diagnose and repair things myself
Took my V65 Magna in for some work on the charging system and some concerns about the carbs. Man that bike runs like the day it was new 35 years ago. Good memories! Worth it! Thanks to the tech and Marc.
Called them asked them about parts they was going to see and noone ever took the time to call back so guess they dont need to sale anything
Man these guys are great!! 4 hour drive for us but we saved over 1500 bucks and they had everything ready for us when we got there!! This is the 2nd bike we have got from midway and will definitely be back when we are ready for another 1!! Thanks Bill and all the crew at midway cycle!!
They had what I needed
We were traveling from PA and in need of a tire. The folks were helpful and gave us Great service. Half the price of the Harley dealer!
Bill and the staff at Midway cycles are authentic motorcyclists and real people providing quality service. They are local and will do what ever it takes to make sure you get on the road safely and satisfied. Highly recommended.
Great guys. Great service. Marks an awesome guy and very knowledgeable.
Ive been going to Midway Cycles since around 1990. Even took my police motorcycles along with my personal bikes there. Great shop for all your service and equipment needs! Or just stop by and talk motorcycles with the guys!
I think its a great place to shop and the people are friendly and get great service
Great service will go back again!!
The owner, Bill, is very friendly and willing to help. Most of the other staff members have been very helpful as well. I have an older bike and regularly stop by for parts from the salvage yard. Theyve always had the parts I needed. The price was a little higher than expected, but I cant argue because they are the only place that has the parts I need.
I just walked in to look at bikes and within 2 minutes someone was helping me and my friend, my friend bought two bikes and they were very helpful.
Knoledgable friendly staff, not pushy or desperate to make a sale. Fair prices on bikes and gear.
Bought few bikes from Bill. Good people, and great selection of ktm bikes. On Sundays they have buy one get one free bike deals! :0
My bike had been sitting in Florida for 6 months when I brought it in for oil change, their mechanic found rust in the gas tank so I had them seal it....this saved my carburetors from being damaged, also the fuel sending unit was cracked. They explained all my options and did an excellent job. They have done work on my bike in the past as well.Always a professional place and people to deal with. Thanks
These guys are awesome to work with!
Midway Cycle is a very good, helpful, informative, and skilled motorcycle shop.
Run, dont walk from their service department! They put a new piston on my buddies dirt bike. It began to smoke like a mosquito fog truck and foul plugs with reckless abandon. They agreed to repair it for parts cost only - still smoked. Another buddy had them put on a new rear tire on his dirt bike. He took it out trail riding and sheared about a quarter of the knobs off by lunch. Turns out the tech had neglected to reduce air pressure after seating the bead (~30 psi). Midway told my friend to pound sand. Lastly, we had them rebuild the motor on a UTV. Got it back and it began smoking and consuming oil soon after. We took it apart and found Midway put in the wrong rings. We put in new set of rings and made it good as new.Moral of the story, buy their parts - stay away from their service.
I purchased a 2018 KTM 500 exc-f a few months ago and I couldnt be happier. One thing I want to point out, these people are very helpful but not pushy. I like being able to walk around and look at bikes without getting hassled. THANKS BILL!!!
The service is excellent and prices are fair. I would definitely recommend this place over others in the area.
Best motorcycle shop in the Huntsville area.Ill use them time and again!I used to go to Freedom Powersports in south Huntsville, but Midway is much more interested in taking care of their customers!
Excellent customer service.
Terrible place to have your KTM serviced, which is very unfortunate since they are the only authorized KTM dealer anywhere around the Huntsville/Florence area.First, I should have uploaded this review a long time ago. These events happened about a year and a half ago. Im leaving the review now because I just didnt have time to mess with it back when this happened, I was too worried about getting my bike properly taken care of and sold. I stumbled up this place again tonight, and it reminded me of the nightmare of an experience dealing with these people was.Anyway, here is what happened. They agreed to try and sell my bike, came and picked it up and were supposed to do a 6-700 mile service to the bike. They came and picked it up, no problem... they then emailed and told me they couldnt attempt to sell it for what I was asking, even though this price was agreed upon before they even came and got the bike. I assume they simply wanted to sell the bike, make a couple thousand, and tell me it sold for less than it did. Either that or theyre incompetent and dont communicate well, as I talked to two different people while setting up this service. I suspect its some of both.Ok, fine. I would have been fine if they hadnt even wanted to try and sell it, theyre the ones that agreed to do it. Now, they knew beforehand that I had no way to deliver or pick up the bike. I was paying them to pick it up and deliver it back to me (a service they advertised on their website). After the fiasco they made about selling the bike, a month goes by and I get a very rude email, telling me theyve had my bike for weeks and I need to come and get it because they have a full shop, and its an inconvenience to them.I was waiting for them to email me and let me know the service was done. No one had even updated or told me what was going on, and then I just get this rude, immature email out of no where? With no mention of the service? Also, as I stated, they had agreed to bring the bike back since I had no way to come pick it up (this was agreed before they ever came and got it). So I had to fight with them about that too. Finally they agreed to bring the bike back. Finally, the last absolute rip off... after paying the invoice, I finally get my bike back to find out the only thing they did was change the battery and replace the gas tank (which they only did because there was a factory recall, and they were required to do so. It didnt cost them a penny). They didnt do anything I asked them to do. None of the service was done. They overcharged me on the pickup and delivery from the original quote as well. These people are incompetent, liars and thieves. I have email transcripts for all the correspondence too, in case they want to say Im lying. DO NOT deal with these people, Im sure theyll treat you super nice when you walk in and purchase a $18,000.00 bike, but if you ever have an issue with it or need it serviced, theyll treat you like garbage.
Broke a spoke on my bike and it popped the tube. Took the tire/rim in and they had the spoke. They adjusted all the spokes without being asked and without a charge, and replaced the tube. Talked to a guy in the maintenance department(cant remember his name...). He was super helpful and tried to not have me buy the whole set of spokes(two other shops wanted me to pay for a full set while only putting one on the rim and they keep the rest!!!!). Tire was ready the next day.Bill, youve got my business from now on. Ill be in this week with my bike.
Their hours of operation are from 9am-5pm during the week; who exactly can get there during a weekday except an unemployed person?!!Also, Ive called their number at least 20 times since December 2016 (they were closed for the whole week around the Christmas time frame) and have NEVER spoken with a person....Ive gotten voicemail every single time!
The best cycle shop around!!
Good people and fair price for service compared to other motorcycle shops in town
Friendly counter gentlemen, only reason not 5 stars was price quote was inaccurate by around 30%
Great staff, parts and service!
Bill has been great! Fast excellent service. Cant wait to get back on the trails!
Great dealership! Bought a bike from Bill and all the employees seem like great people.
Service and Staff are Great!!
Got both tires mounted and both front forks with new seal kits. I brought the tires and tubes with me. They bought the fork seal kits. Over the phone, the quote was $360. Day I brought it in, they said it would be $400. I ended up paying $450 so quote creep is a major thing here. They ended up putting new brake pads on the bike ($30) and installing their own tubes ($20) because they said the tubes I brought were wrong size. Pretty sure mine were right but didnt have picture to prove it. They did not call me to add on the extra $50 of work and surprised me with it the day I picked up the bike. Doing work on someones vehicle without asking and charging them for it is fraud. Plain and simple. I probably needed the pads and couldnt prove the tube thing but they never called to discuss these issues which sucks. My buddy also saw my bike in their front lot ready for pickup 5 days before calling me and when they called me, acted like it was the 2nd/3rd time (it wasnt). Very weird.Fortunately, the quality of work seems decent from this place. Its the people in the front that make this place unpleasant. My advice if you have to use this place: 1) Leave with a copy or picture of the work order with quoted price shown and 2) take pictures of everything you bring with you (ie tires, tubes, etc.) so if they say they were wrong, you can check yourself. Thanks to the mechanic for doing a great job. 2 stars due to storefront staffing. Hope they get better cause I really dont like using Freedom Power Sports on South Parkway but will be tempting next time.
Nice folks, most of whom are riders themselves. I have been a customer since the late 80s....
Good cheap cycle parts and maintenance- mostly metric and dirt bike focused but always worth a look.
I usually do all my own repair work, but any time I need something that isnt handled under warranty by another manufacturer (non-KTM) I always take it here. You cant beat the price, plus the service is great. And if you want to buy a KTM, this is the place. I love that they dont have salespersons. You dont get bothered about buying something every time you walk in, and when you do decide to buy a bike, getting a price is a quick and painless en-devour. Prices are beyond reasonable with no need to haggle.
Went for oil change left with check engine light on
Worse place ever. They never have anything.very rude. And if its not a dirt bike done go in bc they dont have anything for street bikes. And they dont know anything. The worse shop ever I will just drive 18 miles to the other one.
Easy to work with, great people, and great deals. At times it was a little challenging to get a hold of someone via phone.
I had to give them a 2 because they took me in on short notice. I was traveling and needed a tire. Scratched my rim pretty bad and left a screw out of my caliper cover. Scratched the chrome on the cover pretty bad too. But if you are in a pinch and dont mind spending a little time checking up after them and then spending a little money to fix what they scratch up theyll get you back on the road.
The guys at Midway know their stuff. Very knowledgeable.
Horrible Service, walked around for 15 minutes not one person approaches you. I went to South Parkway Honda Shop and bought a bike.
Called and they wont assess my motorcycle because its an off brand. I offered to pay to just have them look at it and Id source the parts myself. They said no. Frustrating.
Great shop for motorcycle parts and service. Now I need one of those KTMs. :)
Excellent service!!!
Decent showroom. Staff was not very helpful.
Good service. Had tires mounted.
Very helpful staff do great work
They do great work for a great price.
Worst place ever! Very rude and very unprofessional!
I tried to have my four wheeler repaired here and couldnt get anyone to help me or even speak to me. I left. I will try to fix myself or carry somewhere else
Very unhappy with staff.. Some were rude and others really didnt know their stuff...their prices are outrageous.. Not much of s selection
Great place
Parts
I called today inquiring about wheel mounting on my new sport bike. In the conversation, I attempted to verify the rims would not be damaged in the tire mounting process. The representative said nothing should happen to the new rims but no guarantees. Then goes on to say “you probably should take it to another shop if you’re that worried about it”
