I have only had wonderful experiences at this small and local business. Along with fast, efficient and fair service. The best local liquor store on the north side of Madison. I moved to the area in late late 2019 and had a chance to speak to the owner, Ray, in passing. I mentioned I was new to this area in Madison and that I loved IPAs (they were stocked very well in craft brews and well known brands of liquor.) Since that time, (in a nutshell) they have grown their selection of local brews and beers of all over the world. This kind of service and care is unmatched. He remembers everyone that walks through the door and the care appears to be continued by his sons that often work the register.

Popped in to pick up a bottle of whiskey for my father-in-law who was visiting from out of town. As a non-whiskey drinker myself I was looking for someone to give some suggestions without just recommending the most expensive items to make a big sale and thats exactly what I got. The gentleman behind the counter took his time and went through numerous makers with me and their costs. He was really cool. Only reasons Im knocking a star off is for the limited selection and for staff not wearing face coverings.

4/24/2021. I’m re-reviewing for new ownership. The new owner has a pretty great selection for such a small space. The space has been really cleaned up, the stale smoke smell is gone and the new owner is very nice and will stock anything for you that he can. Also really good prices for a small independent store! The north side deserves good places like this.

I just walked into the liquor store wallet in hand, no other customers in the store and two guys behing the counter never acknowledged that I was standing there. The older jerk stood there the whole time with his arms crossed watching TV. I wait about a minute and a half just to see if they were going to say something and neither of them even looked in my direction. Horrible liquor store with extremely high prices. The only reason I have been here the few times I have is because it is right down the street. Dont waste your time just go to Hyvee or Woodmans where you will at least be treated like a paying customer.

Great deals on the liquor here, staff is also helpful when asked questions. Community is a little displeasing, but never a problem at this store.

The manager, Kyle, is always nice and helpful.
