Good people, good edge on the skates.

Grew up playing hockey in Madison and always relied on the MIA pro shop for my hockey needs. Recently needed to revive my old skates (new rivets, attach holder..etc) and the pro shop here got it done in 24-48 hours. My skates previously sat at Pure Hockey for 2 weeks and I finally took them back (unrepaired and frustrated) as they said they were too busy with skate sharpening for my skate repairs after they quoted me 2-3 days for the work time (which was not completed in 2 weeks). Needless to say Crossovers Pro Shop will be my one stop shop for repairs moving forward as they over delivered on quality service and workmanship on a timely basis - would definitely recommend them (above Pure Hockey) for skate repairs.

Crossovers is a nice little shop. They do a great job sharpening and do some repair work as well. The staff there know their stuff and are helpful with customers that dont know what theyre looking for. Their stock is a little hit or miss, but thats normal for places that sell used hockey gear, and their prices are much better than Play It Again Sports (and they actually know what theyre talking about and dont have shitty attitudes). The only downside is that their hours are a bit odd, not super convenient unless youre at the ice rink anyways.

Best little shop in Madison. Josh is always more than helpful and a true pro when many other “Pro Shops” have a bunch of amateurs behind the counter. He can profile your steel, change steel/blade holders and they use the Maximum Edge™️sharpening process for that perfect edge. They’ll have what you need when an emergency arises ie, mouthguard, new steel, skate rivets/screws, helmet screws etc. Be sure to check their hours beforehand. I highly recommend Crossovers🚨🚨🚨
