Very cool place. You never know what youre going to find so its a great place for gifts. Theyve got glasses, miss, toys, stationary, jewelry, etc. Its fun for a look around.

We love going to Madison Modern Market! The staff are so friendly and there are an amazing array of gifts for all ages and styles. They have a great childrens section, kitchen section, and section for Wisconsin or Madison specific keepsakes. We highly recommend plus, its kid friendly 😊

It’s somewhat expensive, but if you’re looking for niche humor items look no further. This place has all kinds of cute and wacky items that fit that “hipster who’s into crafting their own coffee and has a bunch of succulents but is also whimsical and may own a cat or two.”

This is the perfect place to buy gifts for family and friends. There are so many unique and fun items in here that you just wont find elsewhere. The staff is friendly, able to answer questions, and willing to assist you with whatever you may need during your shopping experience. I love this store! Even if I am just window shopping, I am sure to stop in whenever I pass by.

My favorite shop on State Street! Always great gift options. Only problem is I cant come in here without buying something for myself!

MMM seems to have nice service and kind people working there. I give this three stars solely because the only things they sell are knick-knack kind of gimmicky items. This seems like a shop that would gear towards impulse buyers -- not my kind of store.

The staff was fantastic! My son bought a gift for Mom while we were all there. They took it behind the counter and gift wrapped it on the sly. Very fun store.

I like the items. I saw one of the employees follow a black man around the store and accuse him of stealing. Doesnt make me want to go back. Its all extremely overpriced anyway.

Have heard the manager on multiple occasions talking poorly of co-workers behind their backs.. very dissapointed.

Cute shop

Some of the staff here profile people of colour. Instead of keeping an eye on everyone in the store, the fixate on people who arent white.This made me very uncomfortable and I dont have plans to go back.

I generally buy most of my gifts here for those hard to shop for friends and family.
