We ordered the raspberry champagne cake and a vanilla cheesecake and wow!!! Both were fantastic and beautiful too. All of us said it was some of the best frosting we’ve ever had on the cake! They were able to do the raspberry champagne cake as soy free too which was great since my mom has a soy allergy! Will definitely be ordering again so we can try more of their fun flavors!
Hi Looking Glass Bakery, Id like to report a murder??? I was slain this morning by the arrival of this cake. Were having a COVID-safe virtual baby shower today for our little guy coming in April (no nursery color scheme, but a vague theme of storybook) and my out-of-state mom sent this as a gift. I fully cried over how cute it is. I dont know whether to thank you for making this day so special despite the pandemic, or to be furious that I have no way of sharing this with my guests! I am still blown away by how amazing the desserts were for our wedding from The Looking Glass Bakery! We continue have people reaching out to ask what flavor cheesecakes we ordered and where we got them from and our wedding was three weeks ago. My husband and I ordered a small cheesecake for the two of us to do a traditional cake cutting which was Banana Nutella flavored and IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD that we didnt have a piece leftover to save for our one-year anniversary. Instead, well be ordering another cheesecake in a year! We ordered individual cheesecakes for our guests in plain and lemon raspberry and we heard so many great things. The desserts (chocolate-dipped pretzels, smores bars and lemon bars) were gone before my husband and I could get over to the dessert table which means they mustve been great too! Thank you so much Stephanie and Keegan for creating such wonderful desserts. Im so grateful that another bakery recommended you during our planning process!
Stephanie and the team at Looking Glass Bakery catered the desserts for my wedding last weekend, and they did an amazing job. They communicated well throughout the process and helped me pick seasonal options. And, they provided GF and dairy free options without batting an eye. People said they were delicious (especially the mini fruit tarts!).
I ordered their 4 heart shaped cheesecake for Valentines day and I was blown away. The flavor was so rich and creamy; it was a proper serving for 2 people, but after we finished it, my wife and I immediately wanted to order another cake from them.The Looking Glass Bakery is run by just 2 people, a married couple by the names of Stephanie and Keegan. They are a wonderful team for this job and are absolutely invested in their projects. Ive also hired them for my wedding and I am so excited to get everything I ordered. Their prices are beyond reasonable, especially for the quantity and quality of each product. Ive yet to find another company that compares to The Looking Glass.They offer a wide range of flavors to pick from for cakes, cupcakes, and even cheesecakes. There will absolutely be atleast 3-5 flavors that will entice you into trying them. They have some flavors that you may be unfamiliar with, but they deliver with every single product they put out.As long as I am in the Madison area or able to drive to them, I will always go to this bakery for my special occasions, or even just for a nice sweet treat.
Stephanie made the most beautiful and delicious mini pies for our wedding! Our guests loved the dessert. She was also very helpful and accommodating :) We highly recommend her bakery!

Wow. Just wow. I ordered a 30th birthday cake with an extremely specific vision (some might say *too* extreme, and *too* specific), and Looking Glass gave me exactly what I wanted! I absolutely lost my mind when I saw what an amazing job they did, as did many of my guests. I still have the topper they sculpted in the freezer, because Im obsessed with and and want to keep it (how could I eat custom art??)! My only complaint is that I ordered chocolate icing, and the icing was vanilla -- a mistake I didnt anticipate given the expense of these cakes.
Amazing bakery! I online ordered a cake for my husbands birthday, first off, the amount of unique flavor pairings for their cakes was amazing! Second off, their entire ordering system is very simple, and I really appreciated the curbside delivery. The staff was so friendly, and most importantly, the cake tasted absolutely incredible. I am so excited for future occasions just to get more cakes from them!

We inquired about dessert options for our wedding 2 weeks before our date since we were planning on a short time frame. We wanted to do a dessert table rather than a cake and The Looking Glass Bakery had many wonderful options and were willing and able to work with us on short notice. Stephanie communicated via email quickly with options (including a few vegan desserts) and pricing based on what we were looking for and assured us the time frame would work. They even delivered to Arena the day of the wedding and were prompt that morning. The guests raved about the desserts and nothing was left at the end of the night!! This place is great! My husband was going to be working out of town in Madison on his birthday this year so I wanted to surprise him with a cake delivered from a local bakery. Cheesecake is his favorite and Looking Glass Bakery came up with positive reviews for theirs, so I figured we would give it a try. So glad we did! Stephanie responded very quickly and delivered it to where he was staying with no issues. And most importantly, my husband says it is possibly the best cheesecake hes ever had, which means a lot coming from him. Highly recommend the Looking Glass Bakery!

This has been my go-to bakery since Stephanie and Keegan blew us away with a delicious, flavorful, sugar free, low carb vanilla/caramel cheesecake back in 2019!Since then weve ordered numerous items with varying dietary guidelines and with zero disappointment. From a 2-tier low carb/low sugar carrot cake and vegan vanilla cupcakes to a full flavored pineapple upside-down cheesecake, we are constantly impressed with the taste and presentation.Take a peek at their menu and/or talk to them about your own ideas, you wont be disappointed!

This was a very dry and disappointing cake for my daughter’s birthday. It looked beautiful, but was incredibly dry and tasted stale to everyone who tried it. Will not be going back
Everything was great - we went from having a very large 4 layer cake to a smaller 2 layer cake due to multiple changes in plans due to covid. Stephanie was communicative the entire time and willing to let me change my mind as many times as needed. Most importantly, the cake was delicious!

We worked with Stephanie for our wedding. We had cupcakes and they were delicious, we are still getting compliments from guests almost a week later (especially on raspberry champagne and red velvet! Yum!) Stephanie was very friendly and easy to work with. She even added edible glitter to the icing to make it extra special. We really appreciated that there wasnt an extra cost for gluten free, plus you couldnt even taste the difference between regular and gluten free cupcakes. I highly recommend them!

We had them cater our wedding and they were absolutely phenomenal! Stephanie was so nice and easy to work with! The food was amazing and a huge hit! She arrived on time and prepared! Stephanie packaged all the left overs so myself and my family could enjoy them after all the chaos was over! Will definitely use them again in the future!

Incredible work on our lemon, lavender, cake for our wedding!! The cake looked absolutely beautiful with a different pattern of buttercream on each layer, and it tasted even more delicious!! We will definitely be ordering a small one to share on our wedding anniversary next October

Stephanie was great to work with - we only communicated over email and she was responsive, flexible and reliable. Looking Glass Bakery served the dessert (a cupcake / cutting cake tower and a variety of other treats and drinks out of their food cart) for our wedding two weekends ago and it was amazing! Stephanie was easy to work with, flexible, and provided good pricing. The desserts themselves were creative and delicious (and didnt just taste like sugar, like so many cupcakes we sampled when looking for a vendor do). I highly recommend!

We went through The Looking Glass Bakery for our wedding. We did not want to do the transitional cake option, Looking Glass had a lot of options to choose from. We decided on the lemon cream cheese, rhubarb crumble and blonde bars. There was only crumbs left at the end of the night. Guests continued to go up for more! The prices were reasonable and everything was ready to go right when expected to be picked up.
This place has great cheesecake. I love the unique flavor options and presentation.

Hands down, the best cheesecake I’ve ever had.
Stephanie did the cake and gourmet rice krispie treats for our wedding, and everyone was absolutely delicious. We originally struggled to find a bakery to make our rice krispie treats, and Stephanie responded to a post my fiancé (at the time) put on a local Facebook page. She was incredibly responsive with all of the details leading up the wedding, and open to experimenting with a new idea and the crazy flavor combinations we wanted. All the treats, and the cake, tasted amazing and looked fantastic. We will definitely be going back to The Looking Glass for future sweet treats and look forward to working with Stephanie again.
