I had been so frustrated with my online order experience and the assistance (or lack there of) that I was ready to end all future purchases with Aveda. I worked with Ben at the Aveda store in Madison, WI. He was amazing. He went above and beyond to help me. I was so grateful and so appreciate for his willingness to assist me. I know it wasnt easy and he was never frustrated or irritated. He has definitely restored my faith in Aveda. They are sooooo lucky to have him. Thank you, Ben.

Pretty sad that 6 months ago your facility was able to do a smokey eye and put false eyelashes on. Today was told only natural look yet your female workers clearly did nlt have natural makeup on. Lead by example or in your store only natural not what we have on! Will not be co.ing back any time soon.

I now know what its like to be invisible. Stood in the store for 10 minutes waiting my turn. Acknowledge by staff that I was waiting, just to be ignored for new customers that walked in.

I can honestly say that the experience I had at about 3pm on 6/11 was probably one of the more disappointing experiences I had at any Aveda store ever. I came in to redeem a birthday certificate and while there were no other customers and four ladies behind the counter, I was greeted with a question more akin to what are you doing here? rather than how can I help you?I mentioned the birthday certificate, which was for a sensory journey and a complimentary bottle of oil. My journey consisted of being asked to choose between four bottles and upon doing so, was handed a bottle and a small card that told me how to use it and was promptly dismissed. It took all of less than two minutes in the store, and I truly felt as though I wasnt wanted anymore.I havent had a negative experience like that at any point before so to feel so dismissed without even a happy birthday or even any attempt at telling about new products or how to use the gift I had been given felt like a matter of heres your gift, now go away. I will continue to shop there, as I know the store is usually not like that, but for being offered to celebrate my birthday with a product I love, I was disappointed.

Staff is very knowledgeable about the products. Store is spa-like.
